Most of the reviews are a bit older so I figured I would throw in my $ 0.02. I started getting back into bowling about a year ago(took a pretty long break due to being a broke college student) and when I was ready to get a new ball I decided to come here. I stopped by the shop and Gerry was working. I told him what I was looking for and after watching me bowl for a bit he recommended the Hyroad Solid to me. I originally told him that I was looking for a pair of bowling balls but after a bit of discussion he recommended that instead I adjust the coverstock on one of the balls that I already had. Needless to say it worked like a charm. The thing that keeps me coming back in dedication to a great experience. I have been back for a few cover stock adjustments here and there(this isn’t the closest shop to me) and I can’t think of a single time where I have bowled after seeing Gerry where he hasn’t dropped by the lanes to check up and see how I am feeling about the changes that have been made. I have recommended this shop(and Gerry specifically) to several of my friends and I have yet to hear of a single bad experience. One of my teammates even went there looking to buy a ball and after watching her bowl he recommended to her to practice her game a bit more before making a purchase to ensure the proper fit. I know for a fact that from that one experience she will likely never go to another pro shop again. If you are looking for a pro shop that will take care of you and listen to what you want to do with your game, this is the place for you! Do yourself a favor and stop by.

I usually grab bowling balls off the internet(because cheaper) then have them drill it for $ 60 +$ 5/insert. I had been so pleased with this pro shop that this time, I ordered it from them(and got the subsequent sticker shock from their markup). Got it drilled and layout was messed up from first guy(confused pin up from pin down), took it back. Another guy admitted he didn’t know why anyone would drill it that way, then proceeded to charge me to fix it(even though they were the ones who messed it up)… Lesson learned. Call ahead, ask for Matt. Do not deal with anyone else.

I’ve had my bowling balls damaged 3 times at Classic Lanes. The pro shop was happy to repair it free of charge but… On the first repair, I gave them a dull finished ball and was returned a Polished ball… this was corrected. On the second visit to repair both balls damaged by the ball return, one was fixed on the spot and the other would be «ready Sunday». I received no phone call and the phone was never answered when I called and had to chance driving down to pick it up only to find a POLISHED ball… not happy and will not return regardless of whether the lanes damage my equipment or not.

Got a Roto Grip Wrecker fitted and drilled by Gerry one Saturday. He recommended the ball after asking me some basic questions about my likes and dislikes. He was very careful in his measurements and precise when fitting my fingers for grips. He was very knowledgable and took the time to go out and watch me bowl to make sure it fit right. This shop is very professional.
