I keep coming back to Oya because it is simply the best!, the Aaron Spicy roll is awesome, the«Baja California» roll is amazing!, the staff is superb! I’ll try sushi somewhere else I’m sure, but I will always come back to OYA!

Oh man I don’t know why anyone is complaining about this place. I had the 3 item meal and it was super good. I got the spicy tuna, California roll, and baked scallop. The tuna was super delicious and you can tell they love to make sushi because of what they put in the tuna to make it spicy. Most places will just throw sirracha in it… they use chilli. So delicious. My crab meat in the California roll was great. The rice was perfectly cooked and didn’t taste weird at all. And the leaving the best for last is the baked scallop… I think I just fell in love right now with how delicious it is. Sweet and had little veggies in it. I legitimately want to kiss whoever invented this because wow!!! Super goos

Fresh! Tried their Sakura Combo with a spicy tuna roll and I wasn’t disappointed. Tried one of their newer rolls the Albacore Lover, that was good too. All very fresh. Very friendly waitresses and sushi chefs. Fried green tea ice cream was also very good. Will def be back!

Came here tonight with 5 of my friends, very disappointed. The star was for the few sushi we got that tasted good. Mine you it was busy and they were short staffed, but the service was horrible. She was rude, unapologetic and just plain dumb. We asked for water multiple times before we actually got it. Some rolls that were ordered never came, we ordered hot sauce 3 times and never got it. When we finally got water, one waiter dropped our cups and took it to the back, while the other waitress came with a pitcher and asked for our cups. When she came back with them, they were the cups that fell on the floor. By the end we just wanted to get out of there. A family even walked out without eating cause they were so upset, wish we could have too.

We really liked it. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Salmon and tuna very yummy. Rolls were big, unlike other reviews say. Really kind staff. The only thing we would have liked is a freshly wiped table. It was kind of sticky. Next time we will try their ramen!

Great local sushi spot. I come here for the lunch special all the time. Unilocal needs me to write more so here goes nothing: Staff is friendly The older Asian chef makes some chill small talk if you strike up conversation Food is quick so I can get in and out on a lunch break.

I ordered a small Sachimi plate for lunch and ooh my!!! Good size and very fresh! Did, I forget to say how DELICIOUS it tasted. I will have to say… Hands down it has got to be one of the best Suchi places in town.

This turned out to be a good take-out decision. I got the Dinner combination, an appetizer and a roll. It was all really good and packed very neatly. I’m looking forward to trying out a sit-down meal there too.

Location is close, reasonable pricing, great sushi and a good variety. To top it all off the atmosphere and service is excellent as well. Love the baked lobster roll!

On a business trip we stopped here. Looks like nothing special from the outside but the sushi was incredibly good! We tried all, from halibut to tuna rolls, salmon and albacore. We stuffed ourselves till we couldn’t eat any more. It was sooooo delicious. Well done Oya Sushi, we will be back.

Ordered pickup thru eat24. Friendly, fast, only took like 10 minutes, and OK pricing. Green muscles were tasty. And the 2 rolls I ordered were yummy. I would order again.

Still the best sushi around. I know when you walk into a restaurant and it’s not packed you assume it’s not so great. That isn’t the case with Oya. Best spider rolls around. No problem driving out of my way to get to this place. The spider roll is my favorite and the godzilla roll has become my second favorite

Went for ramen because I was craving it! Cold days call for ramen always. I called before I went on for lunch and asked the nice waitress if they were open. She said yes! She gave me really good service. The ramen was just ok though. Flavors weren’t that great. I have to try this place for sushi next time.

We stopped in based on Unilocal reviews and I have to say, I am going to stop relying on sushi reviews in the IE area. There is some sort of disconnect in regards to what is considered quality sushi when compared to orange county and LA. The place is really small and like most sushi restaurants there is no booth style seating so I wouldn’t recommend bringing any young children. Due to the size of the place, you can see when your server goes to the bathroom and comes out which sort of grossed me out. I kept turning around to look for her to place additional orders of sushi and let’s just say the time I had to wait and seeing the bathroom door that close just allowed my imagination to be a little too creative. I will NOT be coming back. Pros: –Nice server –Easy parking –Not busy Cons: –Low Quality Sushi –Rolls are too sweet –Rice /Vinegar mix is off –Pricing a bit high given the quality –Server is a bit clueless/airhead

I’ve been craving ramen for like 2 weeks and was on my way home and found this place. It’s very non traditional ramen so it came with grilled chicken, seaweed(not a fan), a spicy broth and ramen noodles. There was no egg, veggies, nor the chicken boiled, etc. The broth was actually decent but the chicken was too chared and the soup as a whole, lacked so many components. For $ 10 a bowl, it’s DEF not worth it. Haven’t tried the sushi and I did carry out so I cant really say too much other than stated. The only thing I can add, was that the lady taking orders and running the show was clearly overwhelmed with serving, taking payments and playing hostess. She was nice, but the service did take a long time and I called in my order.

Oya! Oh, yeah! This was my second visit here and the meal and service was still fantastic as the first time! We were greeted with friendly, warm greetings from beginning to the end. Thank you! For tonight’s dinner, we opted to sit at a table instead of the bar this time for more table space. The 3-item combo for $ 13.95 comes with miso soup, salad, and rice. Items chosen were bulgogi, beef teriyaki, and salmon teriyaki. I personally enjoyed the beef teriyaki and salmon teriyaki more than the bulgogi here. It was a little bit different than what I am used to, but still good. The rice is soft and has a hint of purple to it. We also ordered the dragon roll, which was delightfully refreshing with avocado inside and out! I have not encountered a sushi place that does avocado inside and outside of the dragon roll. That idea made the roll taste even more buttery. To end the meal, we were offered complimentary green tea ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Yum! I recall having the Aaron roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and Eel and Spicy Tuna Rolls at a precious dinner about a year ago. All of which were delicious. I don’t know why I haven’t written a review before, but here it is!
