I wish I could give negative stars to this pathetic excuse for a hotel and for the worst representative of customer service I have EVER experienced. I was grossly mistaken when I thought, as I walked in to the Regency Inn in Norco, CA, that the person behind the counter was in the hospitality business. Not so much. Victor is the MOST rude, unprofessional, uncaring, unconcerned individual that I have EVER experienced in this country. He clearly missed out on «Customer service» training. I went in to rent a room for possibly 7 days. He demanded cash up front for all 7 days. When I asked if I checked out early would a refund be possible… he told me to «GETOUT». Stunned… I tried to explain I had some questions… he SCREAMED at me to GETOUT. Seriously… sleep in your car before you stay here.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room is very dingy. They boast in their website of their recently renovated rooms and comfortable sleeping bed. Geez the room is outdated, even the wall hangings are not placed right, the whole room smells like cockroach, it’s supposed to be a non smoking room but then the smelled like a place for smoking session. The worst of all is the not so friendly people that works in that place. I wonder what the management has to say about this unprofessional staff. The General manager Paula Patel should get some customer service class to make her more appropriate for the position that requires a lot of good customer service. I asked politely her name and she said why does it matter? How stupid can you be to ask me that question when you are in the front desk! I paid to be given decent service. Ms Patel please be aware that when you are doing business you can never be more rude to your customers. Don’t be the first to initiate giving faces, nasty remarks or false accusations. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!!! For the amount of 110 bucks you can get a better place to stay in. This one sucks big time! From room to service to the owners. They should change their name from regency inn to HORRIBLEINN.

**IFYOUREADNOTHINGELSE, PLEASEREADBOTTOM** Please, please listen to these reviews and don’t stay here. EVER. I’ve had the misfortune of having to the last few weeks due to electrical issues my house. Well any-hoo I think it gives me a little better inside knowledge about the place. First off, it is nice that they’re open 24 hours. And if you get a week stay($ 455) its way better priced than day to day($ 65 – 120). And it is pretty quiet depending on the room you get, I’ve stayed in 3 so far. And they have free wifi but you need to go to the office and get a slip. That’s all I have for the pros. Okay first off on the cons, let’s start with the rooms. The lights are automatic so be prepared to shower in the dark! It’s super annoying. I’ve been stuck/locked in the bathroom because the doorknob gets stuck! The toilet in 2⁄3 rooms I’ve stayed so far leaked BADLY on the bottom so the floor is soaked with dirty toilet water. There are a crazy amount of gnats and flies in this place! In one room, I kid you not, there were black spots on the ceiling that I thought was mold but we’re really gnats/flies. Outlets don’t work, light bulbs are missing, phone cord falls out of phone if you don’t hold it into the phone, every single time you use it. Found a huge dead roach under the table. One was hanging out smack dab on the center of another rooms window. Gross but at least those are the only 2 I’ve seen so far. A crack head pretty much ‘borrowed’ my lighter n sat on the washer/dryer. I waited for 20 mins for him to give it back and leave because my room was right there n I didn’t want him to know, just in case anything. And yes I know for a fact he was a crack head because I finally got tired of staying outside n when I went to get my lighter back he offered! Yeah umm, polite pass dude. Okay so now the owners. They are extremely rude, the wife more than the husband. They look down at anyone who isn’t Indian. And don’t expect a decent room if you’re not. Whatever. I asked the husband to have the large trashcan right outside my room emptied since it was on the verge of over flowing and had been there for literally 2 weeks when it was already like that for a week n a half. And I am so serious on this, he told me that I should t be using it and should be throwing my trash out in the dumpster! Like I was the only person who used it! It’s in the middle of the walkway sir! And even then I paid to stay so that means I paid for them to clean out the trash cans, especially if they’re not taking the trash out of my room. They’re remodeling room by room and after having a room painted one morning they put a customer in it same night, even though the hotel was practically empty. I wasn’t surprised they asked for a room change since you could smell the paint from outside. And last but definitely not least, but definitely most important: IFYOULEAVEYOURROOMATANYMTIMEANDLEAVEYOUR A/C ORFANONTHEOWNERDOESANDWILLGOINTOYOURROOMTOTURNITOFF. Place is owned by Indians, it’s dirty, the owners have a terrible attitude, they take forever to check someone in, it’s smells & I will never ever ever stay here again! I’d rather sleep in my car! The lady is very unprofessional, unpleasant, & gives you these ridiculous faces. Please don’t go here l, unless you like to be treated like trash. This place is a business they should treat their few customers that they have with manners & respect. Customer service will go a long way! They do not deserve any stars. Nor do they even deserve me wasting my time writing this review, my experience was so bad that I feel bad & need to warn people! If you have no choice but to stay here, sleep in your car! Thanks
