Bigsby’s Grill & Bar

They never have food. EVER. I stay right up the street and this is a perfect relaxation spot. But due to them NEVER having what I want from the menu they lost a loyal customer.

This was the worst restaurant over all I have ever been to at lunch. I was meeting a friend somewhere in the middle of our offices and holy cow was this a joke! It was empty and I mean we were the ONLY people in the restaurant for lunch at 12:00 on a Tuesday through 1:00. The waitress could not tell us anything about the menu. We ordered queso and it was ok a little cold. I asked for napkins and silverware 3 times before I got napkins, still no silverware. I ordered the grilled chicken lunch special with fries. I was told this was a sandwich, to which I said well just don’t bring the bread but bring out everything else that would come on it. Well it was a broiled chicken breast with NOTHING else. Oh and they were OUT of fries. So I got a side salad. The salad dressing came out in a cocktail plastic glass. My silverware did not have a knife in it. My friend had to get up and ask for a knife for me of which they had to WASH before they gave it to me. Remember we are the ONLY people in the restaurant! This was the worst place I have ever been and it could be nice… Don’t ever go there unless you want horrible service, pretty horrible food, and want to waste an hour!

Went for dinner last night. Took 30 minutes to find out what condiments came with the oysters on the half shell. Took another 30 minutes to get them. Very fishy and not fresh. No horseradish they sent mayonnaise instead. YUCK! Ordered a shrimp poboy and shrimp & grits. The manger came over and suggested that we order something else. We ordered ribs. It has been a long time since I was this disappointed in a meal. Our server was very nice. That was the best part of dinner. Save your money and time. Go somewhere else. Very disappointed!!!

My first experience there was a little disappointing, but I will give another shot.

Late sever bad horrible Music SUCK old 80’s r&b. Projection screens on the walls that show the game with snow in the back round.
We were sitting at the bar and the severs was slow and rude. I SHOULD OF WALK OUT THEN I SEEN MORE EMPLOYEES THEN CUSTOMERS ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON. .
We ordered the egg rolls and the mushroom filled crab bite. The crab bite smell like menstrual cycle or placenta.

What kind of place doesn’t have 80% of what’s on the menu, they had no ranch, no lemons for my water, the silverware was dirty so i asked for another one I ended up using a plastic fork bc that was dirty too! Then my server was arguing with the bartender. I never saw such a unprofessional place, until the owner came out and introduced himself. Who was very drunk! Were NEVER GOING BACK!!! But I’m sure it want b open to much longer

I visited BIGBY’s January 10, 2015 with my sweetie who had told me about it and we had a great time. The place has a lot of potential. We went a little early to celebrate his birthday to get a bite and have a few drinks and it was not that packed in the restaurant or the bar/​billiard area, but; someone was having a birthday party and it started getting a little crowd after being there for over an hour. I believe if they get the right DJ and more people start patronizing the establishment it can be a really hot spot. Our waitress who’s name is Trini was really a nice person and attentive to our needs. The only thing I did not like was that the gratuity was already included in the bill. I like to include me own tip. KUDOS to BIGSBY’s when I move down from N.Y. in a few months this will be my hang out spot when I want to come out and have a little fun.

Service is just slow… the right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. Not that clean. Shoot some pool and go home

The ONLY reason I’m giving Barnicles. I mean Oceans. I mean Bigsby’s 4 stars is because it has an enormous amount of potential. I’ve been here when it was Barnicles. Cool spot! Oceans was awesome! When this place was Oceans, there was a comedy show on Tuesday that was overly exciting, funny and an overall good time.
I came here on 11÷11÷14 and this place is now *drum roll please* BIGSBY’S!!! It was pretty empty on this Tuesday night but I’m friends with a waitress here so my brother and I decided to come check it out again.
She made my experience great just because her presence is awesome! She was a great waitress, very personable. I didn’t get any food this time, but they have $ 1 draft beer, from 4−7p, $ 0.75 wings, $ 5 BMFs/​LITs/​Sex on the Beaches from 7−9p. So, I’ll definitely be back to experience that.
All in all, with the right promotion this place could be a good hangout for the Tucker/​Norcross area.

Walked in for lunch about 12:30 PM. Place was huge but other than a couple of folks at the bar I was the only patron. It was dingy and dated. Old projection TV on the wall playing a movie on cable and Mylie Cyrus blasting over the speaker. Buzz kill.
Felt like turning around and walking out. Despite the place being empty, the waitress wasn’t very attentive. I got the half turkey sandwich and chicken & rice special for $ 8. The soup came out cold and tasted like leftovers out the fridge. Couldn’t eat it. Sandwich was like something you can get at Quicktrip. I paid with a credit card. Lo and behold when I checked the charge online a couple days later they charged me $ 21. Looks like she gave herself a pretty generous tip. Maybe an innocent mistake? Perhaps counting on folks not checking their statement. Will call and dispute the charge of course. Will never return.

New managment which is great thing but they still have a couple of oppourtunities with the food.
