We have been here many many times. We are never disappointed in the food, service, and music. Tonight I ordered the Salmon dish. medium rare is a must for Salmon. Hands down one of the best meals I have eaten in Atlanta. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

My second time there in two weeks, and I’ve ordered the same thing both visits. Cuban sandwich for the WIN! The yellow rice was wonderful. My hot date(read: wife) had the ropa vieja, which was equally good. A pleasant lunch spot during the week for sure. Nice job!

Absolutely amazing. Started off with the chicken empanadas which I ABSOLUTELY recommend, followed by the Mahi Mahi, and an amazing mojito to drink. Every aspect of the dinner was perfect — from the food to the service. I don’t come to Georgia often, but the next time I’m here I’ll make a special trip to come to Mojito’s.

Mojito’s is a cute restaurant in the middle of Downtown Norcross. My family and I decided to try it on a whim. These are the items we ordered: CRÈMEOFCALABASA — My brother ordered this soup. He said, «Good texture and surprisingly sweet but not in a bad way. The blocks of cheese were good. The soup feels light but could be heavy depending on the person.» BLACKBEANSOUP: If you like black beans, you’ll like this soup. We shared it, so not sure how heavy it would be for one person. CHURRASCOFILLET — My brother and I both ordered this dish. Not life changing, but it was tender and a good dish on the menu. The guac is okay. My brother liked his avocado salad and the fries(which I ordered as my side) tasted like the curly fries from Arby’s(I like the curly fries from Arby’s). STUFFEDRICE(ARROZRELLENO) — My mom enjoyed this dish. It was simple and not too filling. CHICKENSANDWICH(vegetarian version) — My dad doesn’t eat meat so he got this sandwich without the chicken, and I think they may have added a couple more veggies. He really enjoyed it. Overall, everyone in my family seemed happy. I would definitely recommend coming here for dinner.

My paella craving was what led me and boyfriend to come here. Thank you Unilocal for the assistance when I typed paella near the Norcross area. :) This place is such a great gem to have in this norcross area. The bf and I have never been to a cuban restaurant or had actual paella. Closest«paella» we’ve had was that entrée at Bahama Breeze. lol. I wanted something authentic even if it took 40 minutes for it to come to our table. Thank goodness we came here to Mojitos, I loved our entire experience and will be back. We risked the dreaded Saturday nights 1+ hour wait to get seats. I felt like we got super lucky because we came in at around 7:30 p.m. which is traffic hour on a Saturday dining out and they were able to clear a table immediately for us. No more than 2 – 3 minutes after, multiple groups started coming in and the wait increased to at least an hour and a half. Our table was right next to the host, so we heard everything. I couldn’t imagine waiting an hour in the scorching sun outside since the restaurant could only fit so much :( We ordered the paella for 1 and added on the steak option for an extra $ 5.95. Before we came, we thought we would order the paella for 2. However, we were warned that the order that serves 1 feeds at least 3 – 4 people. So i can’t imagine the one that serves 2. Overall, we were extremely happy we ordered the option meant for 1. It was huge! It included the seafood of split crab legs, mussels, squid and shrimp. The steak option we added was a great addition also. We didn’t get to finish, only ended up eating half so we were able to pack 2 to go containers to save for leftovers :) I’d recommend this place 100% if you crave paella. A little advice though if you are really hungry and can’t wait 40 minutes or more for the paella, order an appetizer and a drink! We tried out the pork tamale(it comes with 2) and generously topped with shredded pork with onions. The corn masa was super soft and good. I was hoping to not be full when the main course comes out. The Mojito drink was definitely a highlight here as well, for now it’s the best mojito I’ve ever had.

Service, amazing, you can tell the owners are very involved and the team they have is very nice and extremely attentive, not once were we looking around for someone. The Quality of food, Fantastic, it’s like my husbands mom was back there cooking, portions, get ready for a food coma, price, a bargain for a great experience. So happy we found this place, it’s a 30 min drive for us but so worth it :) We’re coming back for dinner next weekend

Some coworkers and I have been here for lunch twice in 2 months. I ordered the same thing both times — BBQ pressed panini and a Caesar salad for my side. This place has my favorite Caesar salad with a yummy creamy dressing and shaved parm and croutons and the BBQ sauce is a sweeter tangy sauce that is not overwhelming for the non-BBQ goers. That’s right… I don’t even like BBQ anything!

I lived in Florida so I grew up eating cuban food, especially cuban sandwiches. I came out of my way to eat here and it was a little disappointing. The Cuban was good, nothing special. I’ve not had cuban bread quite that spongy before. It wasn’t packed but 2music was sort of loud, and I felt ignored. No offer of a drink refill, and after waiting for several minutes after being finished I had to ask for my check. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t go out of my way again to go back.

Best mojito we’ve ever had! Delicious! Also got the yuca fries with avocado cilantro salsa that was great! Adorable bistro with patio seating out front and out back.

You can find Mojito’s Cuban American Bistro at 35 S Peachtree St, Norcross, GA30071 right on the Norcross town square. This restaurant is a favorite among locals with excellent drinks and great Cuban food. Parking is along the curb in front of the restaurant or via lots behind the square or there’s a general lot along the railroad tracks. If you haven’t been to Norcross I’d say that you’ve been missing out on a lot of great food. I took the opportunity to take some friends to the Norcross square for a day — the idea was to do a mini-crawl where you have a drink at one end with an appetizer or two and travel around to as many places as you can stand, having one beer or drink and something to eat until you run out of steam. Mojito’s ended up being number two or three of this mini-crawl. Mojito’s is a fairly small place that’s narrow and long with a bar along the right side as you walk in. The bar can hold about a half-dozen or so — the rest of the restaurant I think has about 20 tables that can manage 4 people each. There’s also some overflow to a small sidewalk patio that can provide for a couple of tables — nice when the weather is participating. The ambiance is a comb of ethnic, bistro and warm homey goodness — I really liked the atmosphere quite a bit. Service is exceptional with plenty of support for your questions and super friendly people. Of course if you come here you should sample the mojito — if you haven’t had one, this tart and minty concoction is typically made from a liquor derived from sugarcane or rum — something sweet and strong. The tartness gives it much the same quality of a margarita — sweet and sour, but the wine and the overall cleanliness of the drink is different. The fresh mulled mint and sugar makes it much more refreshing — it’s a fantastic accompanying of the Cuban-influenced food. Mojito’s also offers up your more common margarita and other mixed drinks if mint aint’-yer-thang or you can try the fruity sangria. There’s quite a bit of awesomeness on the menu — try the pork in any form if you’re not sure what you want. I haven’t tried the tamales but will the next time I come here to dine. The other thing to look at is the Crème of Calabasa soup — creamy, cheesy and full of butternut squash and pumpkin, it looked delicious. They also have one of my favorite Cuban dishes, Vaca Frita on the menu — I feel sure that the do a great job with this dish, it’s much less common than the Ropa Vieja. Lastly, go with the Cuban Sandwich or a few empanadas. For us, besides the obligatory Mojitos, we ordered the Mojito’s Sampler. This was a huge plate of appetizers including ham croquettes, beef empanadas, yuca fries and stuffed plantains. In a word, delicious. In another couple of words, very filling. We were very sated by the time we stumbled on to the next restaurant. Make sure you try Mojito’s if you’re in the area — you can thank me later. (also posted to my food blog)

I was very happy to meet some friends here for dinner one evening. Mojitos has all the markings of a really good dining experience. They did not disappoint. Located in historic downtown Norcross, these folks have been serving quality Cuban creations since something like 2009. Ask them about the«Bay Leaf Challenge.» I’m told they have what may be the best Mojito(the actual drink) in Atlanta. In a word, the food was amazing. First of all, service was spot-on quick and friendly. I’m told the place can get busy in a hurry. I can see how Mojitos might become a busy, happening place on the weekends, with live music, and people enjoying the scene. We missed that, but still very much enjoyed the place. On the day of our visit, we were seated relatively quickly, and wound our way past the band’s stage to the back room/tent area to be served. Our waitress was readily able to make some suggestions, and talked with us a bit about the menu’s best sellers and crowd-pleasers. I took her suggestion and had the special seafood stew. It had an actual name, but I cannot remember it. What I remember is a delicious stew, chock-full of a variety of delicious sea creatures. Hearty and flavorful. I think there was a little saffron in there. That thing was HUGE. To my chagrin, I couldn’t finish it. It totally hit the spot. There are other noteworthy things on the menu. For instance, the classic Cuban sandwich caught my eye. But I must have that stew again. Holler if you’re coming with.

I decided to come here with a few friends one night because we had heard good things about this spot. It’s a very small establishment that was definitely packed on a Friday night. We decided to order a pitcher of mojito as everyone has hyped it up. As for appetizers, we ordered the plantains and the empanada sampler. The mojito was definitely on point with a sweet taste but couldn’t really taste the alcohol but it was definitely present because one of our friends got red from the Asian flush after her first glass. The whole pitcher ended up being about a little more than 5 glasses worth. As for the appetizers, the plantains were so good and definitely some of the best I have ever had. As for the empanada sampler, it came with a chicken, a beef, a cheese, and a spinach/mushroom type as well as a cilantro lime sauce and hot sauce. The beef empanada was by far the best one as I wasn’t really that big of a fan of the others. The cheese one was pretty plain and my least favorite. As for our entrée, we decided to order the paella with the bigger portion that«serves 2» but in the end it easily fed all 4 of us. We also added steak and chorizo for another 5 dollars so it came out to be 45 dollars for the paella. The paella took a little bit to prepare because that’s how it always is because of it’s special cooking pan. Now this paella has pretty much everything you can think of as it had crab legs that were already split, scallops, chicken, pork, shrimp, mussels, steak, chorizo, calamari, and peppers. It was completely loaded, and I felt like there were more quantity of toppings than actual rice but I am not complaining. The paella tasted great and was very flavorful especially with all the ingredients. Highly recommend this to anyone. This place came through and lived up to the hype so a great spot to check out. However, the menu prices online are not updated as it looks they have raised their prices in the actual restaurant so just a heads up!

Being from Miami I was homesick after talking to my mother so naturally a good way to try to comfort the feeling was to go on a hunt for some cuban food. Being Sunday, it was hard to find a spot that was open sunday, not too far of a drive(I was starving!), and had good reviews. Luckily this place was open so Ricky and I stopped by for lunch. Located in Norcross right off buford hwy we were worried it might be sketchy but shocking in a positive way, it is located on a beautiful street in old Norcross. And to match the interior is simple but beautiful and elegant(at least in the we were in which we got a nice table right by the window in the front room). The menu is simple with a selection of appetizers, salads, sandwhiches, desserts, drink, and main course depending on the meat choice of your selection. We start with some ham croquettes(croquettas) which were very good. For main course we shared a cuban sandwich and vaca frita. Simple plated but excellent and authentic. I felt like I was home, back in Miami. I was not expecting it to taste so authentic to be quite honest. The plantains especially were good according to Ricky and worth going for alone. I cant wait to go back and try more of their menu. Also worth mentioning is our waiter was very friendly and fun. I cant remember his name but he is the one with the silver spikey hair(memorable haha). I will def ask for him again next time I go. Lastly, if you go on sunday try to go early when they first open. The location does not have a lot of seating and nor a lot of parking on the street. Many people seem to come straight after church with large parties. I highly recommend and will be back!

Came here for lunch yesterday and of course I got a Cuban! Hello! lol I got the Cuban and paired it with black beans and rice. The Cuban was absolutely delicious. I didn’t care too much for the rice and beans. They didn’t have much flavor to me, but hey. my boyfriend ate all of his(although his nickname is the human garbage disposal or something like that). I like that they have live music. From where we were seated I was able to see the drums set and mic. It was early in the day so we weren’t able to experience the music but I definitely want to come back one evening for some authentic Cuban music. The waiter was very friendly. He had this accent and knew all of the words to the songs playing. He made sure to check on us frequently, all the while he was dancing around to sounds rumbling through the restaurant. I enjoyed lunch here. I hope whenever I come back for dinner, it’s just the same.

Went here on a lovely date last night. The atmosphere was cute, cozy, and romantic. Everything on the menu looked good and reasonably priced. I can see why this place has such good ratings. Plus, you can browse or relax at the park nearby after dinner. This place is a win win pick if you ask me. The date and I shared the yuca fries and breaded chicken fillet plate since my appetite has been on the low end. I wasn’t digging the meal too much since the chicken and rice was a tad too dry. The chicken was an all-white meat so the way they prepared the dish, it was super dry. The avocado salad was delish. I’m not an avocado fan, but I really digged this salad as it was fresh and flavorful. The plantains that came along with this dish was also pretty good. The presentation, service, and company was nice though so it wasn’t a total loss. I heard that the mojitos here were super good so that’s an item to try next time. We should have probably gotten the stuffed rice though since it sounded interesting… I was being a gentleman and let the date pick since I picked the restaurant… Parking was crowded along the main strip in front of the restaurants. But if you drive away from the square, there will be public parking lots so you don’t have to park on the grass. There’s also churches nearby so you can park there I suppose…
