Spring Rolls are cooked with very fresh ingredients and the wrap doesn’t loose it’s nice crunch. Pot Stickers(dumpling) were very well made as well. Inside of restaurant is ample spacious and nice atmosphere overall.

Food is good, nothing spectacular. Do not order delivery! Last two times have been a nightmare. Forgotten food and two hour wait times.

The spicy basil shrimp fried rice is the best. The place never disappoints. Once of the best Thai restaurant in my book.

Food was pretty good but I specifically called and asked if the Hot and Sour soup was vegetarian and was told it was vegetarian. A few bites in I thought something tasted weird… chicken. FAIL. Very disappointed.

Not sure what has happened to this place. We used to order from them once a week, they had great food and fast delivery. Now every time we order it takes forever and the food just isnt good. We are done with Lon U!!! We just won’t eat there again.

I have eaten here for years. Mostly take out and occasionally eat in. Over the past year or so the food quality has been going down. Chicken in the panang curry has tasted tough and old. The last time we ordered orange chicken it was almost all batter. Last night we ordered orange chicken again and there was virtually no chicken at all!!! I went by today and was told there was no owner or manager on site today… I got some excuse about the chef must’ve used too much flour. Offered me a new order but no refund. Once is an anomaly. At least three times now and we’ve given them enough chances. I’ll never order from them again.

Never do delivery, it takes way too long. But it’s quick if you do pick up so if you aren’t dining in just put the effort to pick it up! The food is so yummy. Their masaman curry is one of my favorites.

We stopped by for lunch with the family. They have the lunch menu during the weekends too so that was a plus. The food is pretty good. We did order a couple of Thai dishes but the Chinese dishes were better.

Really great food, portions were really big too. The crab rangoons were the best we’ve ever had. The service was great too, we had the sweetest little lady, so kind and warm. I would highly recommend this place!

This place seems to have taken a backwards step. The food arrived over an hour after ordered. It’s plausible they were as busy as reported when we called to check its status, but I’ve never seen them that busy before. Subsequently, it was not hot at all when received, and needed microwaving. It’s still pretty good, but the flavors seem to have become more bland since the first time going there. Perhaps new owners? We’ll probably order again or eat in again, but we’ll be more cautious.

I used Eat24 on a regular basis. The app showed delivery time of 45 minutes. After 2 hours I called the restuarant and was told the food was on the way. I also sent a chat to Eat24 to notify them of the long wait. My food finally showed up after 2 hours 15 minutes ICECOLD! Even after warming it up the food wasnt good enough to feed a stray cat. I was given a $ 10 credit from Eat24 and will never ever order from this place again.

This place is hidden away in a shopping center in Norcross. It is almost always empty. I’ve dined in and carried out many times. I was ever disappointed with the food. It’s pretty clean and fresh. It’s not quiet gourmet, but it’s not bad. I prefer to order off of the Thai section of the menu versus the Chinese, but my kids and husband like the Chinese options. The décor is really nice, if it were somewhere else, it would definitely be a busy spot.

Surprisingly good Thai food for a place that advertises itself as «X & Thai.» Restaurants that mix Asian cuisines are usually pretty terrible. No one wants to mix European cuisines and go to «Mario O’Shaughnessy’s Irish & Italian bistro,» so who knows why there are so many e.g. Sushi & Chinese places in the US. Anyway, like I said, surprisingly good Thai curry. Shame they don’t have Larb, but I guess that’s Lao anyway, so maybe I’m a hypocrite. Edit: They do have larb, but it’s on the dinner menu. You can still order it for lunch though, so hooray?

Used their online ordering as I have done in the past, but when I used it tonight I have received no food and its been 1.5 hours and now the restaurant is closed. I sure hope that they charged my credit card. I guess I am not getting dinner tonight. A friendly phone call would have been nice.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place yet. Though I often frequented this place several years back, I just haven’t been back nor visited as frequently as I used to — primarily because I moved away and then returned to find out I had a «bun in the oven»(and since been busy)! Ever since I visited many years ago, the dishes I order at Lon U have not changed. Here they are with my thoughts as of late(most recent visit within the past couple of weeks, not just my memories from back in the day). Pad Thai — this has always been a must whenever I go to Lon U. I do remember it tasting even more flavorful back in the day but it still tasted good(although not the best in Atlanta) and I was going back for ever sliver. Seemed a little drier than I’m used to seeing it! Oh, and I remember they served it with lemon instead of lime which is a little … Different… But yes, was still good. I would order it again. Pad See Ew — the pad see we here has always been standard fare. It just wasn’t overly flavorful, but it had just enough. Based on my own preferences, I would prefer a little more but it’s tough to get this dish wrong. We ordered it with beef and they weren’t too stingy on the beef. It was a reasonable amount and also was tender enough. Spicy Basil something — friends in the past have always ordered spicy basil something. Most of my friends like to eat healthy so they always have ordered tofu. I’ve ordered the spicy basil with beef and also tried tofu. Their tofu that they used most recently was the fried tofu. Honestly, the spicy basil tofu most recently was the least desirable dish amongst the 4 adults at the table. It just looked older and didn’t look appetizing which was probably the biggest problem. I ended up eating the last few pieces of tofu because they were sitting by their lonesome selves. But I didn’t have the glorious thoughts of flavor and everything as I did in the past. Orange Chicken — well, we were still hungry so we added the orange chicken towards the end of our meal. The dish came our very orange(in color) and was pretty flavorful. The sauce was thick. And the chicken came extra crispy. You could certainly tell they had just prepared it. It was tasty but nothing amazing. I can totally see why it’s popular. I guess I think of Lon U as a Thai joint more than their Chinese foods so maybe I’ll stick with Thai? Chinese is good too! Don’t get me wrong. All in all, I’m giving this place 3 stars for their decent food and prices. Yes, prices are a little steep. Nothing amazing! Which is why the average 3! Come and try. Let me know what you think!

I’ve always had a great experience every single time I’ve visited Lon U. My family has lived in Norcross for over 10 years and we’ve visited this restaurant throughout the years on numerous occasions. I really like the décor of the restaurant, the service is always great, the presentation of the food is nice, and everything is very flavorful. I usually get the massaman curry or pad Thai, and I’ve never been disappointed. I noticed a couple reviews down about someone complaining about a dead rat. I’ve never had any sanitation issues with this restaurant, but if that was an issue, Lon U has definitely taken care of it. I recently visited last week and they received a 96 on their health inspection. Overall, I really like this restaurant and would definitely come back.

Yummy! I LOVE Thai food, and Lon U did not disappoint! Granted, I’ve only discovered Thai food after going to college in St. Louis, and STL Thai can’t compete with the diverse array of Thai restaurants in Atlanta… but I would definitely come again. The décor at Lon U creates a sense of eating in an Asian countryside with the bamboo plants, the Thai tent canopy, and mural of the [Asian] country lifestyle. Makes the place seem more«authentic»(except we all really know that authentic Asia = dirty, ghetto, no décor, which is not the case at Lon U). Also, you can tell if the restaurant is good based off their bathroom, and it was puhretty awesome. Go check it out next time. I could not figure out what to order for the life of me and told the waitress that I like curry, noodles, and no spice. She recommended either the massaman curry or their thai basil noodles. I chose the massaman curry with onions, avacado, and cashews. PERFECT for my paleo diet(except I got brown rice: P), and it was a mind blowing experience. The Pad See Eew was also really great. Not TOO sweet, and doesn’t have that sour after taste that I get from other Thai restaurants. Probs going to order that if I’m not in the mood for curry. Only qualm was that the waitress kept speaking to us in Chinese and didn’t pick up that one of our friends wasn’t Chinese. But she was really good about filling up our water frequently.
