My coworkers and I decided to give this place a try for lunch. It took them 45 minutes to bring our food out and one young lady ordered soup and sandwich, she was the last served and they still left off the salad. Needless to say most of us will not be back.

My wife and I used to come in here years ago and it was always nasty. We tried it again and boy what a difference. The servers are very friendly and attentive. I got a bloody marry and it had no garnish at all. Not a huge biggie but odd. We got a pizza which was decent enough. Maybe a little chewy but pretty good. We got a grilled chicken salad which was really good. I would recommend them draining the lettuce because it had a lot of water at the bottom that we literally poured out. All in all though a very enjoyable night out. Very clean, good vibe, great staff.

Solid dinning experience. This looks like a sports bar but the food is better than that. The menu lacks options but everything is good.

I haven’t reviewed this place in a while and it’s worth a revisit. Food always fresh and on point and the service that I get from Larissa, Stephanie and Rebecca is the best. There’s a lot of thought and care that goes into everything that they do and it shows. My #1 neighborhood hangout. PS enjoy the fresh cut French fries

I’ve been here a few times now. Very popular location for both the lunch crowds and the after work crowds. Whether it be the food or the alcohol, Tavern at Medlock is great for either of those options. It’s fairly decent size and seating arrangements are big and ample enough for a large amount of people. You can either grab a booth/table or just pull up a stool at the bar that center the establishment. There a few flat screens and a large projector screen that usually displays which ever sporting event is on at the time. Great place to go if you need a spot to watch the game at. The food here is mainly American food, like burgers, steak, wings, pizza, etc. All good food that definitely fills you up. Portions for some options are more than you can ask for. The biggie calzone is the size of newborn baby, most people end up take that home due to them not being able to finish it. You’ll be good with most of the options on the menu, it’s not overly expensive and you get about as good as you would anywhere else that similar. To sum it all up. The Tavern is great place to relax, hang out, eat, and have a beer. That’s pretty much the American dream! Definitely check it out if you’re in the area so you can see for yourself what this place has to offer. My Recommendation: –Calzone(biggie) –Green Chili Burger

Taco Tuesday!!! I love this place on a regular basis, but enjoy their Taco Tuesday special the most. I work down the street from the Tavern and love their lunch specials. Food is great, especially for the price. The bartenders Lolo and Stephanie are always on point and very friendly. It’s nice visiting a place where they remember your name the next visit and give that great customer service along with great food options. I highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area.

As a vegetarian, this place isn’t the best option, but what can you expect in Georgia? I opted for the veggie quesadilla and some onion rings. The quesadilla was good enough but the onion ring batter wasn’t that great. Atmosphere was good though – watched the game with some colleagues – so it was fine in that regard. I probably wouldn’t go back. I mean it was terrible but I’ve had better.

First visit=last visit. Sat for over 5 minutes for acknowledgement that we existed. Catty bartenders/servers were too busy socializing. Fail.

I give this place a one star because their food is good, but I am highly disappointed by what has happened the past few deliveries. Just last week we ordered the fried fish with coleslaw and fries and asked for extra coleslaw which was $ 4.50 added on. Upon delivery the coleslaw was not there and when we called to question what happened we were told they would put a credit on our delivery account. Tonight when I ordered my dinner the person who took my order over the phone told me that I will be able to use my $ 4 credit making the total charged to my card $ 18 and some change. When the food was delivered I was charged $ 24 to my card. I am upset that I have had multiple problems with this place since they have good food. I will not be returning to this restaurant and advise you do not place to go orders from here. They ALWAYS find a way to screw it up.

Husband and I were in the area and stopped by here for dinner for the first time. Good was great. We had wings, pizza and spinach dip. All were really good. Our server, Rebekah, was the only server on duty but you would never have known it. She was fabulous. The best server we have had in a very long time. Be sure to ask for her if you eat there on Saturday or Sunday since she told us that those are the only days she works.

I have been here twice. I had a chicken dish with rice that was very good. But this time I had the blackened shrimp that comes with garlic mashed and green beans — I opted for spinach instead of the potatoes and it was incredible. The shrimp was perfect, as were the green beans and spinach. I would put this particular plate up against some of the best restaurants in Chicago and believe it would win HANDSDOWN! Great place to go — friendly bar and wait staff, nice environment. And the Chef here REALLY knows what he is doing! I see some pretty bad reviews and don’t understand hwo this could be the same place. Everything I had so far was excellent!

Typical sports bar, with plenty of TVs and a circular bar in the middle of the room. Went there with a group from work, and it happened to be a Tuesday night… which is taco Tuesday. Neat idea, where that have about 8 different kinds of tacos to choose from(shrimp, chorizo, beef, veggie, etc). Two in our group ordered them and said they were very good. I had a blackened tilapia fish sandwich, very good, and the fries were awesome. Didn’t try the pizza or wings, but the ones others in our group had, looked really good. Wasn’t overly noisy for a sports bar, service was okay at best. But would definitely go back.

Had dinner there last night… late…around 10PM. The rap music was playing loudly, and I found a place when the bartender finally noticed me and said sit anywhere I;d like. Great menu selection(it was«Taco Tuesdays»), but I ordered a small personal pizza and a side dinner salad… along with a Yuengling beer. Good food, and good service… But that rap music! Holy crap that bass… and those lyrics! Shocking, really. May return again for a late night dinner… but really hope that the genre of music changes soon!

Came here in my eternal quest to find a good local Norcross bar to hang out. Typical sports bar with many big screen TVs above the bar. For some reason, could not get the Braves home opener. Not a good sign if you are a sports bar and can’t get any Braves games. Pretty waitresses and bartenders. Not super friendly, but not rude. Live music on Fridays(sounded like a local college band playing ’70’s trippy rock). Weird collection of older regular customers and young people checking out the band. Typical bar menu, although someone next to me ordered the prime rib dinner that looked REALLY good. Will probably be coming back again. But my quest continues. ..

We visited the Tavern early on a beautiful Friday night. The outdoor seating was packed, so we grabbed a table inside near the bar. The bar did a brisk business, and what appeared to be an alcohol promoter made the rounds spreading cheer and merchandise. Patrons inside the restaurant were sparse on such a beautiful day, as everyone was trying to soak up the sun on the patio. This was our first time visiting, but based on how well patrons seemed to know the staff, I would guess this is a spot where locals who live or work in the area hang out. Servers were all smiles. Service was not fast. We had time to relax, chat, and enjoy each other’s company. We started out with the chips with blue cheese and sriracha. The chips were homemade with a good crisp bite. The blue cheese was more of a dressing, with few chunks of actual cheese, and the sriracha reminded me more of buffalo sauce. But it was a good start. For dinner, we had a burger, a reuben, and a kid’s chicken tenders. All were okay, with perhaps my favorite being the chicken tenders(I hate it when my toddler out-orders me! But at least he shares.).

So after a long drive the manager at our hotel recommended Tavern at Medlock. I ordered Blackened Shrimp served with Blue Cheese Mashed Potatoes, green beans and Lemon Aioli. It was delicious! I am not sure what Aioli is but I would put that stuff on anything and as for the Blue Cheese Mashed Potatoes, genius! Yes I would recommend this place. Plus the rest of my party devoured their meals with no complaints. The waitress was really nice and service was fast, the two teenage boys with me fell in love. So there’s something for everyone. Ever in the area, try it!

Beat place around these parts. More of a middle aged crowd with two gorgeous middle aged bartenders that do a great job serving drinks. The bar gets four stars. The food gets two stars although some guys next to me ordered a pizza and devoured it. It looked like a Godfathers Pizza type of pie. I will definitely come back next time I stay on this side of Atlanta.

This is the new OTP home of the Bills Backers of Atlanta. Plenty of sitting at the bar and spacious table seating. The bartenders are on point and friendly. The food is good. Their wings are crispy which is the way I like them. Pizza is excellent. Love their fries too. Plenty of TV’s for your viewing pleasure and a big screen in the main dining area. I never considered driving this far for football but this venue is worth it compared to the BBAITP venue. Good food, decent service, reasonable prices and plenty of parking.

Interesting mix of people going in and out of theses doors business to derelicts. It is a sports bar with a bar that always seems to stay full it is the only one in the area that I have found so far. Service as others have commented on is something to be desired try asking the server for everything at one time while you have their attention because you don’t know when you may see them again. Food, well that I have to say is good«The wrecker» is slow roasted beef that is sliced thin and put upon a bun that has caraway seed in it served with fries and horseradish. Two kinds of fries can be had fresh«hand cut» or the frozen crinkle cut which I prefer. Soups are nice as is the French Dip don’t get the half sandwich it will leave ya wanting more. Check out the lunch specials for $ 6.99 until three p.m.
