So although I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this place to anyone, I do have to give them credit for pretty good customer service.
I only came to them originally because my phone screen was decimated, and I would have had to wait two or three days to make an appointment with Apple to get it replaced. The cost was about the same, so I figured I’d just take it to the kiosk and get it done and over with then and there.
Not to get into annoying details, but I had to bring my phone back on two separate occasions for issues that came up with their previous fix. However, both times, they were able to take a look at my phone pretty much right away, and they didn’t charge me any extra after the initial repair cost. Both men who work in the actual store (not the kiosk) were very polite and knowledgeable, and I witnessed them handling some tough situations with other customers very professionally and politely. One technician in particular (Nick, maybe?) seemed very knowledgeable and was super polite.
Overall, breaking and repairing your phone is stressful, but the help these guys provided definitely contributed to me being able to have a working phone with their quick repair time. Thanks for putting up with all the BS that broken-​phone owners give you.

My wife’s screen spider webbed and we needed to either replace the screen or phone. Compairing prices, Fix, Color & More beat Apple’s screen-​replacement cost by about $ 30 (~$ 120 vs. $ 150). Seemed like a good deal.
Problem 1: non-​factory screen had sub-​optimal viewing angle (could only get set intensity level to about 15 degree tilt (unlike normal screens that are closer to 60 – 75 degree tilt). After some research online, this meant they used a screen that cost them ~$ 5 – 25. Screens that have factory-​grade viewing at full tilt angles usually cost $ 40 – 80.
Problem 2: the screen fell off 2 months later. Yup, you read that right. Without any inciting trauma, the screen stopped becoming touch-​sensitive on the R vertical half and when I investigated (taking the otterbox case off), the screen literally fell off the phone. I had a WTF moment and brought the phone+screen back to Fix, Color & More explaining what had happened.
Their response is what warranted 1 star on this rating. The tech at the booth was evasive, called me and my wife liars (not in as few words; at least that would have saved me some time), and offerred to give me a new screen for $ 110 (generously offerring a $ 10 discount).
I pointed out that it was likely that the otterbox was the only thing keeping the screen in place over the last however many weeks and that their product was faulty (or incorrectly installed) as iphone screens don’t just fall off. At the very least, I suggested, the tech should inspect the phone to verify the integrity of their product.
More wasted time insinuating fault with my wife and myself.
I requested to speak to the manager. The answer: no.
There’s a lot more to the story. However, the remaining details are less significant and writing about them would convert my hopefully subdued and professional tone to irrate (reducing the intended impact of this review). Suffice it to say that in my opinion this business was unprofessional and dishonest.
Should you suffer the all to common fate of having your phone attacked by spiderman, I would recommend absolutely avoiding Fix, Color & More.
