Walked in with my bf and the salesman whose suit was very I’ll fitting barked«what brings y’all in today?» in a very rude manner. He asked, «tuxedo rental». My boyfriend replied no, I’m here to pick up my suit that I has altered. I’m sure he was taken a back by the reply. Another portly salesman with suspenders was bragging to the same guy who greeted us about how much money he makes the company. It was very awkward and I felt very uncomfortable. These people think they are better than the people who walk in wearing casual wear because they wear suits and business casual for work. Let’s be serious folks. The only reason you wear those clothes is for your job and it’s not even worn correctly half the time.

Ugh! Men’s wearhouse! You have one job and you failed miserably! My husband and I came in three weeks ago to get a suit for a formal event. The lady told us that the alterations would be the day of the event. we thought this is perfect! When we got to the store, they had altered a completely different suit(which didn’t have a vest, like the one we ordered). The«best» they could do was give us the wrong suit for the event. So my husband had to wear a completely different suit than what he paid hundreds of dollars for. I went in this past weekend to return the suit and to get the correct one. But of course! More problems! The correct suit wasn’t even altered. She told me my husband had to come in so they could do the measurements. He works. Plus, they can look at the measurements they did on the wrong suit and do that on the correct suit. So, you can see why this is frustrating. Not to mention we live in Portsmouth so every time we have to come here we have to pay the tolls. The lady tried charging us for the new alterations! What??? Horrible customer service! We just want the suit and to be done with this store. She better be happy that she squeezed hundreds of dollars out of us because we are never coming back here… correction, we have to get the suit we paid for first then we are never coming back here!

I came here just looking for a tie and belt for my graduation. Told them I was also colorblind and that i just need help getting the right color tie that would go well with what I had on. They took care of me. Also after finding the tie, the salesmen came out with a blazer that was way nice and told me that it completed what I was wearing. What sealed the deal was that he also scratched almost 200 off of it. Definitely would recommend.

It’s always tough to rate franchised clothing shops for me. It all comes down to the quality of service. While at Men’s warehouse, I was able to explain what I was in the market for(new suit, possibly a tie and shirt). The clerk was able to get me into some wonderful fitting clothing almost immediately that met all my expectations. A few quick try on’s and the seamstress was out and getting me fit in short order. Unlike Brooks and JAB, Men’s Warehouse stocks a variety of different tailored brands, this gives you the opportunity to try on several different fits before making a decision. So if the Kenneth Cole doesn’t fit, try the Calvin Klein, etc… This, in my book, get’s them that extra star. They also have a small selection of premium denim(though I didn’t recognize the brand), polo’s, etc… Would definitely reccomend.
