L A Nails

I’m pretty sure that I won’t be going back here. I hate that I have to move around so much because I have to leave places that are amazing and start my search all over again. LA nails was my first pick in Virginia because I heard something good about this place. This place is close to my house, so I figured I would give it a try. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I had stepped back in time. I have been getting my nails done at different places in America for about 12 years of my life so I’ve got some experience in this area.
I first try to pick a color. There weren’t that many options. I wanted my hands and feet to match which has never been a problem anywhere else I’ve been. I will get back to this though. Next, I go over to get a pedicure, and this place doesn’t use the disposable liner that other places are using. At this point, I am just hoping that everything is clean. Polish time, no base or top coat. Sloppy painting… Shellac manicure had to be done by someone else, because my original manicurist was too shaky?
When it was all said and done, my Polish doesn’t match at all… even my husband noticed! Good luck with this place.

Today I stopped at LA Nails for the first time to get my eyebrows done, and I’m usually a little skeptical about going to new places. They took me to the room as soon as I came in and started working on me. I made sure I told the lady how I like my eyebrows done, and when she started I got nervous because of how fast she was going. Overall she did a good job but she didn’t get the small hairs from in between my eyebrows, which I didn’t trip over because it doesn’t really show anyways. Their prices were good for the services rendered because I usually pay $ 9 or $ 10 at other places, but they only charged me $ 7.

Great pedicure every time! Prices are great, staff is friendly and efficient. I’ve been coming here for about a year now and won’t go anywhere else.

I’m a firm believer that when you are getting good services from one place don’t change it. I moved from VB to Norfolk and not wanting to drive to VB I gave L A Nails a chance. WORST DECISION EVER! They don’t have many gel colors and the lady who was attending me got mad when I told her: «it’s okay, just give me a regular manicure then». My 7y/​o niece can do a better job than that. Worst 20 dollars and 1hr ever spent!

Worst Gel Polish manicure ever! My nails are all ragged and uneven. I feel like a 2 year old polished my nails. I asked for nail art and the guy had no idea what to do. He told me it couldn’t be done when I’ve had it done a million times before. Yea won’t be back.
