Logan’s Roadhouse

Not the best but could be worse. Our server was really sweet but wasn’t the best at filling drinks. Like I said, it could have been worse. The steaks were a touch over cooked and my filet tasted more like a sirloin. I’d probably come back but I don’t know that I’d get steak at this steakhouse… maybe their prime rib is better?

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because my meal was rather small for the price; but other than that it was delicious (I ordered pork chops). The iced tea was good, as was our appetizer and our waitress was nice.

I went to Logan’s Road house yesterday walked in told the wait staff I wanted a table by the bar, I proceeded to walk to the tables a Waiter following me. I sat down he handed me a menu and walked away. Logan’s was not real busy and as I sat there with no wait staff offering drinks or taking my order I took photos of five wait staff members staying around the hostess stand just talking as I waited for service.
25 minutes after I was there with no service at all I was able to get the attention of a waitress I said hello I been here 25 minutes with no help. She said you have not been waited on? I said no. She walked away and never came back nor sent anyone to help me.
35 minutes after I was there a young very nice waitress had just came to work and started her shift. She seen me there asked me Sir you have not been helped. I said no and I have been here 35 minutes. Any way, I would give this place ¼ of a star but decided on 3 stars because that sweet waitress went out of her way to help me from that point. She made sure to get my order, make sure it was satisfactory and she got her manager Kim that came to my table and was very concerned about the poor service I had until that point. Between the waitress and manager Kim they made sure everything was good. And Kim the manager Compt my meal as well. The food was good and I am very satisfied with how the waitress and manager really helped me.

Today was very disappointing for me. Their silverware and dishes were dirty. We normally come here and have good service but today we had a lot to complain about. My coworker and I decided to split a ribeye steak. Ribeye’s are not cheap-​I know my ribeye– and this was not a ribeye. It was cooked medium and very tough. Even if you cook a ribeye well done– it will still be soft. The manager decided to give us 50% off (cause my coworker ate her half –she was starving when we came in) but complained about how tough it was to chew. Their baked potatoes were SO SMALL-​I had to order 2. Their Cesar salad was drenched in the dressing. Just way too much. My other co worker ordered the cinnamon donut holes which were burnt– she had to reorder them again. Today was just awful. Other than that, our waitress was still wonderful and very patient with our complains.

Well, I was hungry but this experience changed that quickly, great service okay atmosphere. Now let’s get to the food. I had baby back ribs and the half chicken. Let me tell you this is no county grill. The ribs apparently boiled and grilled and over cooked, absolutely awful. The chicken sauce way to sweet, the Mac a doughy experience. This a chain so maybe this was just an off day. This particular 1 never again

I had an impromptu lunch date. We were seated quickly and our waiter was quick to greet us. I ordered garlic chicken wings and fries and Peach tea. While waiting for my drink I asked what the bucket of peanuts was for, much to my surprise I was told they were for eating. Um eww, seriously? I don’t know about you, but the thought of eating peanuts that other guest may have dug through was not a good feeling to me. Personal preference. By the time we finished laughing at my confusion about the peanuts and learning they used to chuck the shells on the floor, the waiter brought over fresh rolls that were devine and the peach tea that delivered on flavor. A few minutes later my wings came out, they were crispy but lacked any type of flavor. I was disappointed. The frys were just ok also. But let me tell you something, that was not a cheap meal! For me, it wasn’t the best or the worst experience but not one I could not see myself reliving.

This was a great experience. My waitress Britney was amazing. She was nice funny and fast.

First, I must tell you that our server, Danyel, was AMAZINGLY! She was very attentive and addressed some of our problems immediately.
We called ahead for seating reservation and was told the wait was 45 – 60 minutes. We were on our way so our timing and wait should not be long. Got there just before 7pm and was told it maybe a 2-​hour wait… got the manager, we were seated w/​in ½ hour. Drinks, appetizers, entrees ordered. Fresh hot rolls start coming. Then the drinks, appetizers, side salads, and more hot rolls. Our entrees didn’t start rolling out until well after our 3^rd delivered plate of hot rolls (845pm). Time in between hot rolls and drink is when our server saw that we needed a refill. 2 of 10 entrees were sent back due to being over cooked.
Facilities: bathrooms were filthy! I won’t go into details so trust me on this. I did report it to one of the hostesses. Dining floors were not swept. I saw no peanut shells on the floor but lots of straw paper and other items strewn about that should all be swept up during the busing of a table after a party departs.

Really dissappointed with my whole experience here this evening. I had a family dinner here to celebrate my dad’s birthday and was not impressed with anything. Me and my sister-​in-​law wanted something specific on the menu and unfortunately they were out of what we wanted. No prime rib or meatloaf, really! My bother ordered a trio platter that consisted of chicken, ribs and steak. He is advised almost 30 minutes after the waitress put the order in that they apparently don’t have ribs either. This is a steakhouse, no prime rib, meatloaf or ribs, are you kidding me! To top it off, half our table still had to wait for their orders 10 minutes more after me, my wife and in-​laws got our food. As far as the food, I don’t know about the rest my family, but mine was not the greatest. Honestly, I could’ve done better. Overall, not happy with the food or service. Sorry Logan’s Roadhouse, but you need to close down. For those in VB who remember, they need to put Darryls back, at least I never had problem when it was that back in the day.

My wife & I ordered the 12oz ribeye & grilled shrimp. When the entrée’s arrived the steaks were not as it seemed. They were clearly NY strips trying to be passed on as ribeye’s. I think not. You can clearly tell one from the other. The waitress was very attentive & made our stay more enjoyable though…

Our waitress was kind, attentive and very responsive.
We came in time for Happy Hour and we ordered the cheese fries. They were stringy fries narrower than McDonald’s fries with shredded cheese sprinkled on them, the cheese was partially melted and very sparse.
I was excited I ordered the rib trio and my hubby ordered the brisket nachos.
The baby back ribs were tough and stringy. When the pulled two bones apart the meat was so hard it stayed in a hard spike form. Scary. The waitress just said it normally falls off the bone. Well I guess I ordered them on the wrong day. Ribs are their signature entrée. Hmmmm.
The nachos were equally depressing.
Just eat somewhere else if you want ribs.
The alcoholic drinks, salad, peanuts were good. Again, the waitress was great.
Just yuck!!!

I cane here with family and friends to enjoy a steak and my friends ordered ribs.
We all left disappointed.

I walked in expecting good things, but the moment I walked through the door my hopes began to diminish. I ordered the 9 oz. Filet Mignon with two sides, a Caesar salad and a loaded baked potato. The Salad arrived and it looked like it had been pre made with the dressing, in other words the greens were so soaked and saturated by the dressing they were like mush, disgusting. I asked for my steak to be cooked Medium and it arrived Medium Rare. Taking my first bite it turned out to be one of the worst steaks I had ever had. I don’t know if it was just old or had been frozen at one time, but it was not pleasing to the palette. The only saving grace was the loaded baked potato, which I am glad they were in unable to mess up. I highly recommend that if, you want a good steak house, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO! Don’t waste you time or money.

Sometime you just have to bypass the reviews and try your luck. My husband went to check on the wait time while I scrolled through the review. Needless to say when he came back and said immediate seating (it’s Friday at 5) I had to consider my options. Stay or go? Go or stay?
We stayed. Got seated immediately and our drink orders taken immediately. She dropped the drinks off took our appetizer order. We got anxious as we saw a large party being sat down so we put our dinner order in before it got lost in the big order.
No complaints. Our food came out hot, all orders were right, drinks refilled regularly and the manager did stop by the table to check on how our meal was. If I had to pick one downfall the waitress was not real chatty. She was courteous and to the point. No in between; no jokes. Just straight service and business. Nothing wrong with that as long as you get good service.
We would go back again regardless of reviews because the overall service was fine!

The steak were good tende and seasoned well. My mozzarella sticks weren’t as hot and cheesey as I would like be had a great taste.

I give 4 stars to our waitress who was very nice and attentive to us. But I’m basing this review on the food. I ordered a ribeye cooked medium. I swear they brought me a strip instead and it was cooked practically well done. The waitress checked with the kitchen but they swear it was a ribeye and she asked if I wanted them to make me a new one but we didn’t have much time to wait because my husband had to get back to work, so I just ate it. The side salad that came with my meal tasted like it was made from a bag and was sitting around all day. The saving grace of the food were their rolls… nice hot buttery rolls. But really, that’s it. I’ve never been to a Logan’s before and I’ll probably never go back.

The service is always bad here. Today our server was out of it. When she brought our meals out, she forgot that we all got Caesar salads. We had to tell her we ordered Caesar salads. After reminding her, she just stated «Caesar salads?» She then brought it out but we did not want it after having our meals. However, as it sat on the table while we ate our entrees we did taste it and the croutons were hard and stale. The worst I have ever had. Overall, the steaks we had were dry, and our server did not check on us as she should of. We had to wait to get refills for our drinks for a while.
The manager did come by and ask if everything was okay. We did say fine. However, caution your own servers there and your food. Or simply go somewhere else for better service and food served correctly.

Went in on Friday night around 8pm. They were pretty busy so we waited around 20 minutes.
(The good) We ordered onion blooms for an appetizer, a draft beer and water. The rolls were hot and fresh. VERY good! The app came out piping hot and very tasty. The beer was ICE COLD! (Bonus points) For dinner we ordered a Caesar salad and a house salad. For the entrees we ordered a ribeye steak with a grilled shrimp skewer and a side of mac and cheese, a whole rack of ribs with buttered corn. The steak was perfectly cooked and very good! The ribs literally fell off the bone! SOOOO GOOD!
(The bad) the mac and cheese was stone cold! The corn was water logged and stone cold! The shrimp hardly grilled at all and stone cold! What a bummer!
The server was friendly and efficient but never offered refills on our drinks. I wanted a fuzzy naval but couldn’t get one because no one knew how to ring it in the computer although they have a full bar! Whatever!
Would I go back? Perhaps if I had a coupon and could get something for free. Otherwise it wasn’t all that. There’s too many other steak joints around.

Why i tourture myself with chains i don’t know! We stooped by for lunch our faves in the area were busy so with the mostly empty parking lot we popped in here. Yeah that should have been clue #1. The server was slow with drinks and we were wondering if she was going to take our order, when she finally returned i ordered a med rare burger, um no we only do medium to well clue#2 usually I say no thank you and either pick something else or leave but she promised it would be juicy and she would ask them to try to keep in closer to med rare yeah right the yeast rolls were the high light as the requested burger arrived well done and dry and the pre frozen steak on my wifes steak salad looked as if it had seen better days. Moral of the story if the clues say run do so!

My babe and I went here for his birthday. At around 5:00 PM on a weekday, we were ushered right in with no wait time. My guy had steak (of course) and I had salmon. We both enjoyed our food and the service was awesome. The waitress was very nice and the manager came by to introduce herself and to ask if we were enjoying the food. I made a secret birthday request and yep… they embarrassed my sweetheart and wished him a LOUD happy birthday. He had people from other booths wishing him happy birthday! LOL
