This little shop was pretty good! The donuts were nice and warm, but very sweet! Not as busy for a Saturday as you’d expect, and no coffee, but it was good!

Good tasting doughnuts, though they charge .50 cents per doughnut for bacon and they skimp you on the topping. This is my second time here and im now nolonger impressed. Duck doughnuts provides more bang for the buck and they dont cut corners.

They never let me down. Best donuts in Norfolk, hands down. They use a cake batter and make their donuts fresh as you order them. Try their Apple donut! So derricious.

When your in the norfolk area, come here to get your donut fix. The donuts are on the greasier side of the donut spectrum; however, they have great innovative ideas and combinations that taste great! **cough cough** PB&J cough**

Second time coming to O’s. I love the fact that the doughnuts are prepared based on the order. The doughnuts aren’t sitting out in a case. Although this is my second good experience, the set up of the menu confuses me. Also I think they should expand their menu. Glazed doughnut should have glaze on the bottom as well, not just dipped on the top.

Husband and I came here for half a dozen on a Saturday morning. It was our first time trying them out as I was craving donuts. Sadly it was a disappointing experience, the donuts were not fresh. When we were handed the box it had chocolate dripped all over it and rather than giving us a new box so I could hold it without getting chocolate all over me they just gave us napkins. My husband has a pretty strong stomach but both of us were sick and running to the bathroom after eating these donuts. Not sure if that is the usual or whether it was an off day but we won’t be returning. I’d say save the calories and find a better quality treat elsewhere.

I love this place! It’s cute and the people are nice. Their donuts are also really tasty. I’ve tried several of their flavor combos and my favorite is the apple pie. Their hot chocolate is also really good. I always bring my company from out of town here and they have really loved trying the donuts!

Wow! For a donut family to be impressed and say ‘best donut ever’ on the first bite… very impressed! Found the hole in the wall while in town for a robotics competition using Unilocal and they did not disappoint. Great selection of frostings and toppings and the donut itself… fresh, hot and not to heavy! Definitely recommend a visit even if it is a little bit out of your way! You won’t be disappointed!

Donut was great! It is a make your own starting with a old fashion style donut so they do not have jelly/custard type. But my donut was super fresh and delicious. I had the cinnamon sugar on mine but if you have a super sweet tooth go for the icings(they are very rich so be mindful).

Outstanding, fresh donuts! Ordered a single donut with peanut butter topping, Reese’s peanut butter cup crumbles, and peanuts(yes I“m obsessed with anything peanut!) Peanut butter topping was real peanut butter. It all tasted great together, sooo good!

The first time I visited O’s I was impressed. The cake donuts were made to perfection and the toppings were generous. Being that I don’t eat a lot of donuts, it was a while before I came back. The second time, I only bought 1 donut, strawberry frosted with rainbow sprinkles. This time the frosting was the only thing I liked. My cake was greasy and heavy. So naturally I took another long break from this place. Then the other day my husband had a craving for a cake donut and insisted we give them another chance. So we stopped by on a rainy Wednesday morning and ordered a crazy mix of sugary confections. This time the donuts were good, not too heavy, not a ton of grease, made just right! But the toppings were a mess. While our donuts were being made I noticed the frosting didn’t look fresh. Like crusted up, a lot more than normal. The strawberry was good, but once the orange was on the donut, you couldn’t even tell there was frosting on the donuts. The peanut butter looked horrible, it was extremely thick and dry and the color was unpleasant. Finally, the powdered donuts left much to be desired. Overall I think this place is good, not great. They really should work on quality control and consistency. I have had both good and bad products from here but I would be lying if I said I wouldn’t be back. A good strawberry frosted dounut is hard to find.

SO delicious– they serve fresh, hot cake donuts with whichever toppings you choose off of their menu. I got a vanilla donut with cinnamon sugar and apple pie filling, a vanilla donut with vanilla icing and oreo crumbs, and a pumpkin donut with glaze and graham cracker crumbs. Insane! And I’m definitely going back before I fly home because my friends need to taste the donuts from this place!

«O» My Gawd! I was«O» so impressed with O donuts! I’m kicking myself for spending so much time eating donuts from Wawa and Duncan donuts instead of coming here. Here’s the story, I work at a high school that is located right around the corner from this place and I’ve constantly had my eye on it while driving past it on the way to work. This place is open from 7 – 3, which are my exact hours so I could never really stop by before or after work. Luckily though during parent teacher conference day I was able to stop by and get a dozen. There’s so many toppings and glazes, It was hard to make a decision, and I also went in on Monday so I had the option of picking a plain donut base or a chocolate donut base. Good thing that man working the counter had a lot of patience and I was the only one in line at the time of me ordering because it took me a good 5 minutes to pick what I wanted. The intention was to eat one myself, and let my coworkers and any parents who wanted one to eat the rest, but they were so good, I ended up eating 3. They were just so warm, light, airy, with a little bit of crunch to them.(My bad! lol). My co-workers as well as the parents I spoke to all said that the donuts were really good as well. «O» Yeah«O“verall I will be coming back for the goodness that is «O’s Donuts».

«The optimist sees the donut, the pessimist sees the hole.» –Oscar Wilde It’s all about the toppings, yo! You see, O’s Donuts is similar to other donuts shops around here: they start with a plain, vanilla donut; you pick your glaze; and finish off with a topping. Now, the first time I visited O’s, I wasn’t super impressed with their plain donut, but I did love the«Apple Pie» topping – warm, soft, pillow-y donut of sweet goodness(#OMG! Factor). I decided to go back and try out some other combinations: maple with heath bar, lemon with coconut, and strawberry with peanut butter cup crumbles. Without a doubt, the strawberry & peanut butter cup crumbles was the bomb! So, that’s what I’m saying – choosing the right combinations for your donut can get you from an average donut to an OMG! donut. Before I forget, O’s now have chocolate donuts available, but only on Mondays – at least at the moment. I need to try a chocolate donut with strawberry glaze and peanut butter cup crumbles… I know the donut is the most important part, right? However, there are other things we should talk about, too. The service at O’s is good: friendly, prompt and served with a smile. The interior of the shop is nothing special, and there are very few tables. In other words – O’s is a place where you pick up your donuts and go. Their prices are similar to other donuts shops around($ 11.49/dozen). You can order donuts online on their website, but keep in mind that there is a $ 10.00 minimum( ). In addition, they serve donut sundaes(fresh, warm donut, tossed in cinnamon sugar, sliced open with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle, topped with hot fudge, and finished off with whipped cream), coffee, and hot chocolate. And last, but not least, O’s is a kosher shop. O’s isn’t my favorite donut shop in Hampton Roads, but they’re decent and I would definitely go back again for a chocolate donut. Just being in Ghent gives them an extra star. Why? Because I can, that’s why. Go check them out, order an Apple Pie and a Strawberry with Peanut Butter Cup Crumbles(chocolate if you’re there on a Monday), and your taste buds will thank you.

I was pretty disappointed by my experience and taste of donuts here. I love a good cake donut and have had several at different locations around Hampton roads, but O’s just doesn’t hit the spot for me. As all the typical places, they make their donuts fresh from scratch. I noticed that they were making a large quantity of donuts as many people coming in where getting 1 – 2 dozen donuts. When it was time to make my donut he proceeded to pick up a donut that had been sitting under a heat lamp instead of one that was fresh from the fryer. I guess he realized what he was doing and ended up giving me one from the fryer which I appreciated. He handed me my donut, which was maple glaze with oreo topping. The glaze was too thin and the oreo topping was very thin crumbs instead of the chunks that I’m used to receiving at other places. He handed me my donut with no fork, it took me asking and waiting for 5 minutes just to get the fork and at that point that donut was cold. I definitely wont return as I have had better donuts closer to home.

1st time here and the donuts were perfect, nice and warm. The ideal balance of warm and soft without being mushy. I’m from the north so I have this apple orchard ideal of how a cinnamon sugar and this was perfect minus the apple cider and fall air chill. I ordered their iced coffee and for me it was perfect without any sweetner or flavors added. Will definitely be back.

Yummy, deliciousness! Cake-like, fluffy, warm donuts. You can watch them make the donuts! Love this place. I wish they had more seating though. :)

Yesterday I was leaving my dad’s shop in Ghent and decided that I really wanted some donuts. I initially wanted Duck Donuts but didn’t feel like driving all the way over there, so I browsed my bookmarks on Unilocal and sorted the listings by distance. O’s Donuts popped up and I decided to drop in. I got there about 25 minutes before they closed. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a gentleman at the front counter/register. There was no one else there but two girls walked in shortly after I did. I wondered if anyone else was working there because the gentleman at the register was answering the phone as he prepared to take my order. In retrospect, this is probably due to the fact that they were about to close. I looked at the order sheet and apologized for taking so long. I told him I had never been there before. He said«That’s alright. We make the donuts right here,» and pointed to the left where the donuts were floating around waiting to be coated and devoured by greedy people like me. I told him I wanted to order half a dozen donuts. I ordered: One cinnamon sugar donut One with chocolate coating and chocolate sprinkles One with vanilla coating and oreo crumbles One with lemon coating and powdered sugar One with vanilla coating and rainbow sprinkles and one with maple coating and«facon» I must note that when I ordered that last donut, I asked for«one maple donut with bacon.» I thought they had made a mistake on the order sheet and misspelled«bacon.» Silly me. I also stopped after about the third or fourth donut and had to ask the gentleman who was helping me how many I had ordered already. He was cool about it though. Once my order was placed and I had paid for the donuts, I walked over to the«Holiday Hours» sign to take a photo. While I was doing that, a girl who had just ordered walked up and asked me to look something up for her. That took a minute or two and before I knew it, my donuts were ready. I wasn’t a fan of the«facon,» but the donut was still good nonetheless. Also, the lemon coating on the donut with powdered sugar was okay but not as thick(I suppose) as I expected it to be. I honestly don’t remember tasting it that much. Everything else was delicious though. I ordered the vanilla donut with oreo crumbles for my younger sister and she loved it, and I ordered the chocolate one for my mom. I was shocked to hear that my mom liked the donut from O’s better than the ones I ordered from Duck Donuts a couple of weeks ago. I would definitely return to O’s if I am in the area. The staff(that I did see) seemed pretty friendly and the service was quick. I’d most likely try different coatings and toppings, like Apple Pie, Key Lime, and the mini chocolate chip toppings.

O! So good! I had only 1 donut. About $ 1.20. I thought a little bit expensive. Dozen and ½ are much cheaper. Warm, fresh, crispy outside, not too sweet. The stuff was not that friendly but fast. There are tables and chairs outside. Free parking is in front of the shop. I wanna go back there again soon. who is O by the way eh???
