Pier 1 Imports

I haven’t been into a Pier 1 in a couple of years but in that time, it seems to have not changed a whole lot. It’s still crammed to the gills with all kinds of higher end stuff to put in your home. We were specifically looking for a bookcase and didn’t find one. But we did find that Pier 1 is again stocking the awesome dishware that we loved from like 20 years ago.
Candles, papasan chairs, silk plants, end tables, picture frames. It’s all very unique home décor that you will find nowhere else.

Don’t shop here. I purchased a ornamental bird here and when I got home I noticed that the clips were missing on 2 of the 5 birds. I went back to the store; and this is where I went wrong, I did not have the receipt, but asked the very nice lady at the register if I could exchange them. She went to get the manager, Candice, who was the most unprofessional manger in a retail store I have ever encountered. First she told me I had to take them back to the store I bought them from, the price tags were still on them, so I told her they were purchased at this store, then she said that the are broke, and that they would never have been sold like this, then I pointed out that the 2 birds on top of the bin were also broke, then she said that the store has a no return policy without a receipt, I read the policy to her on returns since it was posted on the counter, she said that was not applicable to this item but could not show this policy. then told me to leave the store and if i had a problem call the corporate office. Well i did that and that is not Pier 1 policy. Oh the best part of the conversation with the manager was how she told me that every cashier checks all merchandise before it leaves the store. See if they inspect every item when you purchase it. i know that has not happened anytime I been there.
