The Azalea Inn

Had their Greek pizza and it was very good!!! Will def go back for it! It had lamb, feta cheese, black olives and fresh tomatoes. I loved it!

The Manager Krusty or Kristy however you say her name is a RUDE BITCH! She’s nasty to her employees and her customers! I will be reporting this place to OSHA! She eats off people’s plates before the food comes out and manhandles the food as well!!! She drinks her whole shift and is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. DONT NOT COME HERE!

1^st time, in the restaurant, sports bar. The bar dominated the establishment. We ordered a large pizza, that was very good. The place had more bar patrons then anything. As far as family goes, you be the judge it’s more of an adult oriented restaurant. The service was average.

The Azalea pizza is absolutely amazing! The ingredients were so fresh and the service was excellent!!!

Hello everyone I love this place and their food is soooo good. This city everything closes early but not this place they even have arcades for the kids to play. Customer service is on point.

We ate at this place during lunch with a group of 14. The place was lightly packed around 11:30 on a Thursday. There was constant refills as the waitress was attentive.
The food was great and has some unique items on the menu. I had the azalea burger and it was very good. I always substitute for sweet potato fries, worth the up charge!
One of the other guys next too me had the baked chicken, but complained it was a bit too dry. Maybe it was just a bad piece. Looked a bit dry to me as well.
The problem was the auto added gratuity of 20% for lunch. It seemed a bit steep, and surprising.
The place itself is roomy and there are TV’s all over the place. It reminded me of Buffalo Wild Wings but way better. I didn’t walk into the game room, but would imagine for the bar scene, it’s great.
I may visit here again for lunch.

Don’t know what’s going on here the pizza was not award winning the décor was confusing the staff was okay but walk in no one greeted us not one was there I guess it is seat your self it has some kind of game room the is seriously out of date the smell of it was old wet carpet. The bar smelled like smoke. It just was a confusing place to eat back to the pizza it was not good at all

The food was great, the service was just as good. I would recommend this place to anyone. The pizza was as cheesy and good as I have ever had. My family was very satisfied. My daughter is not a big eater and she loved it so much she would not stop eating. It was great, thank you to the love of my life for suggesting we eat here

Happy to find a sports bar and grill close to the new house. Our first visit was during lunch and the food was wonderful. Both my husband and I had sandwiches. My reuben was full of meat and the bread was toasted perfectly. My husband had the French dip and loved it. The amount of televisions around the room was promising for football season. The only negative thing (and it wasn’t much) was it’s dark inside. I can understand at night. But our visit was at 1 in the afternoon. But overall a really nice experience. Next visit we are trying the Greek cuisine they have to offer.

Awesome!!! The menu is filled with so many choices. It has two sides and a arcade. TVs are everywhere here!!! You won’t miss a beat.

I was introduced to this place by my husband whom is a native. I must say of all the local spots this is one of my favorites.
The menu has so much variety for a Greek specialty restaurant. There is Greek, Italian and even a taco salad (getting this tonight-​fingers crossed) I usually just get the chicken parm dish. The pizza is very good as well!

This has been a staple in our family our whole lives. The service is hit or miss but as the years ago on it helps that I know a server or two. Sit with Annie’s section if you can. At the bar, ask for Tammie. Can’t go wrong. Burgers are always good. They have so many yummy options but it’s not that inexpensive so be prepared. This is the place to be during football season but get there early.

I had heard this was a good place to eat, but I was not aware they have an excellent Greek menu as well.
We had the gyro sandwich and fries fot lunch. Awesome!
I will be back with the whole family for dinner. I want to try the cheese appetizer that is served on fire! And I’ll be saving room for dessert too!

My husband has been wanting to take me to this restaurant for a while, so we decided to venture out to the Azalea Inn on this rainy evening. We were seated instantly. Our server was nice, but you could tell she was new and somewhat inexperienced. She couldn’t tell hubs what kind of beer was on tap… She actually pulled out a list of draft beers and placed it in front of him. I’ve never seen that happen before!
So that’s why I knocked off one star.
Moving on… We ordered the saganaki as an appetizer. The table-​side flambé service was really cool, but we both found the cheese particularly salty. We also ordered the Azalea Special pizza… It was ahhhh-​mazing! The pizza was loaded with toppings and the crust was flaky and buttery — truly a work of art.
We will definitely come back just for the pizza!

Now… this is pizza. It kinda reminds me of the pizza I use to get when I was in my young teens. Quality ingredients, that they dont skimp on and it comes out hot! That’s what makes this place awesome! The restaurant is clean… and the staff friendly. I see why these guys have been around for so long.

I’m going to start w the manager as they are a direct reflection of the staff. She needs some training. How do you approach a table and not even apologize for the fact that you have a 3 top in your dining room and their order is messed up? As a manager you should accept responsibility for the people working for you a. It keeps you informed and b. it gives you a chance to try and get the customer to come back at a later time… At no time did she asked if we wanted anything else, let me go check on your order or anything! When she came to the table one of the drinks was empty she didn’t even offer to refill that!!! Nor did she apologize which made our decision not to return that much more easier!!!
Waitresses needs some training when you walk pass a table and their drink are empty please take a few seconds and refill it!!! Also as the waiter assigned to a table please look at your customers and apologize for their inconvenience it might just make a difference. Oh when a table asks for ketchup for their fries please bring them ketchup before their fries get cold or before they have to ask again…
Can’t quite rate the food as I didn’t eat since I came to have dinner w my friend and she ended up sending her food back since it never came out

I have been here quite a few times. I have had the pizzas and salads. Working on getting to the pastas :) thus far service has been amazing. They know what to recommend, always a plus. The portions are always generous and always hot. No doubt they are made to order. This is a great place no matter the occasion, there’s lots of repeat customers as well. Swing by, you’ll leave with a full stomach and catch yourself coming back for more.

This place has the best pizza in Hampton Roads. The next time you have to pick someone up from the airport, bring them here! Their Hawaiian pizza is my favorite. They make a tasty burger, as well. Their veal parmesan and spaghetti and meatballs are delicious. We’ve eaten on the restaurant side and the sports bar side. You can’t go wrong here.

I have always respected this business, food, service and being a partron but, this review is regarding the restrooms. I’m grateful I cancelled my order after using the restrooms. It may be too graphic for me to describe what I saw in not just one but, every stall & commode. With all due respect, I hope that with this feedback, daily cleaning with bleach can be implemented please. Just because the restrooms are outdated does not mean they cannot be cleaned.

Went here after all the review raves about the pizza. Was not disappointed.
