This is a great local hardware shop, not your typical big box home store. But it has much more than you might expect. A great place to go for tools, nuts/bolts, locks, and classic home/garden needs (hoses, lighting, parts, etc). If you know what you’re looking for, I’d recommend checking here first. I find it easier than wandering through acres of Home Depot looking for what I need or someone who can help.

I’m sorry two of the reviews say they received poor service — I’ve always been quite pleased.
Item-for-item, they do often cost more than the bigger stores, but if you want just one of something, especially something obscure, this is the place to get it. They somehow seem to cram more variety into well less than half the space, at least as far as things I typically need. And for smaller purchases, their higher prices are more than made up by the time and gas savings vs driving across town to a big box.
Better service, better location, better inventory, though sometimes higher prices. It’s up to you to decide if it’s worth the trade off, but I know I’ll be back.

I will have to agree with the other guy. This location isent up to par. My hometown ace is way better. No one helps you at all in this store and when you finally get someone to help you they are worthless.

This location just isn’t up to par.
I’ve found myself here buying coal for grillin’ and numerous copies of keys.
For the coal, ok prices, not the cheapest, but so close to my apartment, so I’ll give it to them.
For the keys, why didn’t I learn?! In total, I’ve come here three times for keys and everytime they work ok for the door lock and never work for the deadbolt. The first time, I returned and had them remade, only to have them not work and go to Lowe’s instead. The final two times I didn’t even bother getting them remade at Ace.
The staff is cordial, though the last time the lady making my keys seemed bothered that I’d even asked for help.
