In a little strip mall, opposite the many fast food restaurants that line the south side of College Ave, sits a store called oops! I just love this store — it’s a little store with a big heart! The products range from soap to chocolate, jewelry to socks, gift cards to whole table settings — and it’s all unique! If you love Polish pottery, there’s a plethora to choose from at oops! Like chocolate? Oopsdaddy’s Truffle Bar is right up your alley! The staff are friendly and knowledgable — this is a great shopping experience!

This is a neat variety store. I shop here mainly for bamboo items(clothing, socks, towels, bed sheets). If you’re surprised to learn that clothing and bed sheets can be made out of bamboo, don’t worry; many people don’t know it. However, the fabric is very, very soft, and shirts/socks made of bamboo«breathe» well, making them cooler to wear during the warmer times of the year. This store also offers a large variety of soaps, lotions, and other skin care products that are of high quality. They also feature a good sized jewelery collection. In fact, there is so much in this store that I haven’t really seen all they have to offer. The staff working here are friendly and helpful. Check this place out the next time you’re in the neighborhood.

I stopped by Oops! while waiting for my order of Chinese food from Great Wall(they’re in the same strip). Their schtick is that everything in their store is organic, natural, etc. They sell a lot of clothing items made of bamboo as well as cloth diapers, towels and blankets. There’s also a lot of jewelry and hand painted dishes that are really cool. It’s a neat store and the owner was very nice. Seems like a nice niche market and I hope it hangs around.
