Braums Ice Cream & Dairy Strs

If you can find a Braums, any Braums, do yourself a favour and try their turtle sundaes… They are so delicious. This Oklahoma based ice-​cream company is the BEST in the world (I think!) and is in a few of the surrounding States.

If you know what Braum’s is, it’s a Braum’s. If you don’t, go to Braum’s and find out. Best ice cream in the world.

Braums are usually very clean and well run. This location is filthy. You smell greese when you walk in the food preparation area is dirty. People are nice but the restaurant is a mess

Seating: few booths and tables, seat yourself after you order at the counter
Service: friendly! Maybe 5minute wait for a 2-​person order
Food: wasn’t too hungry so ordered fries– served hot and crispy, and a Butterfinger Mix– thick, creamy, and delish. I can’t usually tolerate a lot if sweetness but ate the while thing anyway!
Overall: would go back. I lived in Oklahoma for 10 years and Braum’s is a staple. Also cool that they have a small grocery store within, where they sell their own milk/​ice cream products

The prices are so great! The meals are a good size for the buck! The service was excellent and really loved they food especially the ICECREAM! So many flavor a to try and a single at $ 1.50 each! Can’t beat that!

Love the milk here. Every time I go back, I have to have my family pick up a gallon because it is just so good and there is nothing that can compare in AZ. We also went one night for ice cream and I got my usual two scoop reese’s peanut butter cup ice cream sundae. SO GOOD. Especially all the peanut butter. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is that I felt like the dining room wasn’t exactly clean and that one of their employees was on a break taking up a 6+ person table. Dude, I know it probably wasn’t prime time when we were there, but you took the best table in the joint and just stretched out making it inconvenient slightly to find a good table to accommodate our not small group.

Great shakes! Good burger and fries as well. Enjoyable!

I am not gonna lie… I truly think their cherry limeade tastes better than Sonic’s and I love Sonic! One must not visit or leave OK without eating at Braums… They have ¹⁄₃ or ¹⁄₆ sized burgers :-)

The guy that took our order must’ve been new. We ordered a large cherry shake and a large chocolate shake. I think we waited 10 – 15 minutes for them with no one else in front of us. Watching him, we didn’t have high expectation already.
The cherry shake was made with syrup and vanilla ice cream. We saw him struggling to make it and he even broke the cup so he had to transfer the shake to another cup and he had to wipe the cups on both shakes because they were so messy. None of the other workers seemed to try and help him. He had ice cream going up his arm. My guy said you would’ve thought he was a mechanic… lol!
Cherry shake tasted artificial and not really good. My chocolate shake was so thick I couldn’t even drink it with a straw. I just scooped it with a spoon.
Ice cream was not fresh as it had a lot of those ice crystals from being in a freezer too long.
Not recommended!

I had never heard of Braum’s in Texas, but I figured it was equivalent to Dairy Queen (they are all over the place in Texas). My coworkers told me about them and their history — that they breed and grow their food fresh here in OK. I love their number 3 combo and the fries tasted «clean»…I’m not sure what other word to use there, so I’ll go with that. My kids love their ice cream, and I love the price! haha… My favorites are the cookies –n– cream and the dulce de leche cheesecake. Yum! Always a good bet if you are in the mood for a burger or ice cream. :D
