I had the one meat polish sausage plate with Mac and cheese and coleslaw, my husband had the sliced beef plate with beans and Mac and cheese and free ice cream, it was very good. We will be back.

I’m not a huge BBQ fan, so this isn’t so much about the food but the service. I had a big order for 20 people kind of last minute, and the staff was so awesome. They worked hard to get the order on time and were smiling when I walked in the door. I was just so impressed. I may not like BBQ, but their sides and rolls are quite tasty!

The bbq at Dickey’s is reliably good. You can count on that. I usually order the brisket or sausage here, as those items are my favorite to eat here. But if there’s a good daily special, I’ll give it a shot, and haven’t been disappointed yet. The meals are a bit pricey, but my husband and I can easily share one meal because the portions are so generous, so it’s all good. They offer three sauces: regular, spicy, and sweet. Play around with them to find what suits your tastes. Sides I recommend are the fried okra, baked beans, and mac and cheese. The free soft serve ice cream machine is a sweet bonus when dining in.

Great barbeque! Also, on Sunday kids eat free, so not only do you get good food, but you Dave money! I ordered the pulled pork plate with Mac and cheese and the baked potato casserole-Very, very tasty!

Have to say I avoided stopping for the longest time as Van’s isn’t too far away. What a mistake! The rib dinner with two sides was bountiful with fall-off-the-bone pork ribs and a novel bun. The portions are appropriately sized and the staff is quick and cheerful.

Being from DFW, I grew up on Dickies hot links and they are quite good. It’s a bit pricey, but if you get their daily special than you will get good value. The free ice cream is also a plus. Definitely worth giving a shot.

I live near this location and although I’ve never seen evidence of them doing a lot of business, I was curious. I now understand the lack of cars parked near this thing. I paid $ 14 for three medium sized ribs that although blackened on the outside(not appealing) were at least flavorful and tender, and three small pieces of sauce-covered soot with a bone at the center. The«roll» was cold, dried on top, but drenched in butter product(it was *not* butter) on the bottom. I ordered two servings of cole slaw as my sides for the meal, and this was the kicker. There was NODRESSINGONEITHEROFTHECOLESLAWPORTIONS I WASGIVEN with my meal. I don’t mean there was too little dressing; I mean there was NONE. I got two cardboard containers of PLAINCHOPPEDCABBAGE. All bbq joints think their product is so fantastic no one will notice the burned rib ends or the occasional turned cole slaw cup they slip into the drive-through if the customer isn’t a regular, I get that. But this place goes above and beyond hubris. I predict we’ll have a liquor store or maybe a drive-through dry cleaners operating out the current Dickey’s in Norman. Probably as soon as next fall, or maybe even the middle of summer.
