Fowler Toyota

I worked with Devon and he was so great! He was possibly the most helpful & patient sales person that I’ve ever worked with. He’s such a genuine person who didn’t make me feel like he was just after a sale for the commission. I highly recommend him & his team!

While driving through Norman recently, I found myself in a pickle with a nail in my tire. I rolled into Fowler Toyota with the mindset of ‘oh goodness… I’m going to have to sit here for a few hours waiting.’ I was pleasantly greeted and helped immediately. This is one of the best and well-​staffed service departments I’ve ever seen.
An hour later (with no appointment) I was on my way with the tires all fixed up and a replaced spare. The waiting area was cozy and there is even a café for snacks and separate room for those with kids 3 years an up.
Oh, and Fowler does an exponential amount in the community. Aside from being turbo-​rad helpful cap people, they give back. all. the. time.

Gotta downgrade after my last few visits. Was told that my wife’s car needed an alignment. When asked to see the paperwork for it, they showed me someone else’s car paperwork. They also told me that the car needed the air filter and cabin air filter replaced. I told them to pack sand as they wanted a insane amount to do 5 minutes work. Guess What?! When I got home and looked at said filters myself, they are perfectly fine and do not need replaced. I USED to use your service department because I could trust them but after this issue and hearing from people I’ve RECOMMENDED to you guys, I think we’ll be going elsewhere for service and parts related needs.

I never thought I would be that person who «exclusively» buys from one specific dealership, but Fowler stole my heart in 2014 and never gave it back.
I bought my first car from them a year ago, and wasn’t just shuffled through. They took the time to do things right, and got me exactly what I wanted. I was in and out in no time.
I was so pleased that I referred my family to them when they were looking, and they got an amazing deal too.
Unfortunately, I also had to deal with the other side of heir finance department when I canceled my warranty after I lost my car to an accident. Doug in finance had me taken care of in ten minutes, if that. They are always going above and beyond to give everyone who visits a prime experience. I never feel pressured, and know that I can look at a car one day and even if it takes me six months to get to where I’m «ready» they will be patient and deliver the same fine service regardless.
I don’t ever want to drive anything but Toyota again, and I will buy from Fowler EVERY time. Thanks for showing me that buying a car doesn’t have to be a headache :)

We came last week to check out some cars and see what all they had that was lightly used, in our price range, and would be better for a car seat than my fun little convertible. Upon arrival, we were connected with Cameron — he was absolutely lovely, and took great care of us. We found several cars that would work, including a new Prius that was in our price range — when we thought we’d only be able to shop used cars.
I was happy to see such a wide selection, something I think you only get with a large lot like this. We looked at Mazda and Nissan crossovers and a few Prius, as well as a new Camry just for comparison’s sake. I don’t think I’m quite ready for a full-​on sedan, but they are definitely nice cars.
We haven’t really made a decision yet, except that maybe I want to wait a few more pay periods so I can take in a slightly larger down payment, but when we come back, we’ll definitely be working with Cameron. If you’re looking for a car, it’s worth checking out!

Well, I just had my last service done under the new car maintenance program, so it’s time to go ahead and update the review one last time.
«Buying the car:» Four stars. Solid experience, where they got me the car I wanted at a fair price and without dragging things out unnecessarily. Though the finance fellow was unacceptably aggressive pushing for the unnecessary extended warranty coverage. I understand you somehow actually convince people to buy those things every now and then, but it was too much. Details in the original review.
«Servicing the car:» Two stars. I’ve had the car in for service five times; three of those times, the work was done as requested and quickly. Once, they performed an oil change I didn’t ask for (after a bit of back and forth, they did comp me a future oil change, so we got it straightened out … but I did wind up being late for my next thing). Once, they assured me that my tire was fine, and the pressure indicator would come on sometimes in the winter due to basic physics. I took it to Sam’s Club, where their wheel/​tire folks agreed that the tire was fine except for the large screw sticking out of it.
So we’re left with a three star experience. I’m taking one more star away. I ranted about ten months ago that I was irritated that I was receiving marketing calls from the dealership. Normally, I’d just block the number, but you want to know about recalls and safety issues if they ever come up. As you can see from the correspondence below, the manager was nice enough to respond and remove me from their marketing lists after I sent him my email. Or so I thought. I still get called pretty regularly. I pleaded with one caller to remove me from their lists, and that seemed to scare them away for about three months. But the most recent call trying to convince me to buy another car reminded me I needed to come back and update this review.
So, in summary, I would absolutely buy a car from Fowler Toyota again. But only because they already have my phone number. And I’m still in the market for a mechanic close by.
