It’s Norman, I’ve traveled the world and have had amazing food, so when ordering from here you have to take into account your location. It probably is the best in the area but, like myself, if you’re from bigger cities like Dallas it won’t compare to your favorite restaurant there.

Lots of food per order. Overall good. Nothing crazy special but always good.

When you are out in the middle of nowhere and the last Asain person you saw was on your home town, you are going to be skeptical about Chinese food. Especially in a place like OKC where 32 oz steak are served for breakfast. I was further concerned about the fact that this place was take out only. Made me question their ability to maintain a robust storefront. Back at the hotel, I had far more food than I expected for the price and it was rich, flavorful and satisfying. Some of the best Chinese I have had in years and the only issue keeping them from 5 stars was the fact that the menu itself is limited in ways. Would not hesitate to return!

No complaints here, wonderfully greasy Chinese food :) Ordered a simple item — chicken fried rice, quart size. Asked if they could make it spicy and they did, next time I might ask for a little more spice but overall great dish!

Cheap and good fried rice, but otherwise not much that’s bueno. I’ve had Golden Chef maybe seven or eight times, and even though I have one item that I like to get there and still occasionally do so, I must say that the place is sub par overall. Likes: It’s cheap. They also have a pretty good menu selection for a small takeout joint. I do like their chicken and pork fried rice, which can fill you up easily and are available in 2 sizes. Dislikes: Nasty interior that is not really meant to dine in. This place is designed to be a takeout/delivery eatery, though they do have a couple tables inside. I’m talking plastic chairs. There’s also a minimum $ 13 delivery charge, which is too high for one person but is pretty easy to hit with 2. Anyway, they’re also kinda slow. You’d definitely better call ahead for pickup because they take longer than you’d expect. I don’t care for their sesame chicken much either, but it’s okay. To be fair, for a low rating, this place is fairly decent. Nonetheless, it’s slightly sub par.
