Great find! Way better than the Greek House. Only did take-out, called ahead and they were able to get my food ready in 10 mins, so not sure about the wait time that others have commented about, b/c it was fast for us. Tried the gyro wrap and the Fiesta plate with lamb/beef. Everything was delicious. Tabouli was different than used to, and really enjoyed it!

Food-wise this is one of my favorite places to eat in Norman. I’m giving a 3 star review with the hope that they can make necessary changes. They’re pretty unorganized and understaffed. Getting your food can be chaotic, confusing, and time-consuming. In the past they’ve run out of their(delicious) tzatziki sauce. I believe they’ve recently resorted to watering the sauce down to make it go farther. Can’t say for sure, but seems pretty apparent. I really like this place still and hiring more staff could fix a lot of their problems.

The food is delicious and the hummus is amazing. The only drawback is it takes a long time for the food to arrive but it is all made in house. The wait is well worth it!

The Tzaziki here is amazing. Definitely a better place to eat than the over rated Greek House. The family and staff who run it always make sure you’re full! I found this the last year I lived in Norman and went as often as I could. If you guys come to Dallas I will frequent there. Haha!

I love the Mediterranean platter and the shawarma platter. Generous helpings and I look forward to their mint tea during the Summer — very refreshing.

Excellent food and friendly service. I’ll be headed back soon! We had the schwarma and Mediterranean platters. Unfortunately their Grier was broken this evening, but they were very friendly and gave me extra hummus and rice!

Probably the most authentic Mediterranean hole-in-the-wall spot in Norman(sorry, Greek House). Love the shwarma and hummus, but the tzatziki is the BEST, hands down. Service takes a while because it’s only a couple guys behind the counter, but it’s never been that busy when I’ve been.

Good food. Horrible service. They completely forgot my order and there were only 4 of us in the restaurant all from my party. The guys were just standing around talking.

I can’t get enough of this place! The chicken shawarma is to die for… as is the tzatziki sauce! The hummus is also delicious. I find myself craving this joint more often than I’m willing to admit. It’s great food for a great price. Go here!

The falafel is never ever ever a dry hockey puck. Made to order. Open until 11 pm… dangerously delicious late night snack. My fav Mediterranean food in Norman!

I wish I could give 4.5 stars, it’s worth it! I didn’t give the 5 because we ordered out gyros to go, and they automatically came on a wrap not a pita. Odd, you would think it would be the other way around. Anyway, this was our first time here, we all ordered gyros and fries to go plus an order of hummus and pita and extra cucumber sauce. The gyros came on a wrap, which is an option. While I would have preferred the pita, it was delicious on the wrap as well. The meat is seasoned great! The cucumber sauce(tzaziki if you’re fancy) was outstanding. Decent fries, would’ve been good but fries don’t travel well, so we knew that going into it. The real stand out. The hummus. Oh lord I forget how much I love hummus until I eat it and think«why don’t I bathe in hummus?!». This has a slight smoky curry flavor. Not so much your coworkers get offended but just enough to where it’s something more exciting that plain hummus. Basically, I filled up on hummus and only hate half my gyro. I hate when I get distracted. Very friendly staff and owner! Totally making this a regular stop!

I’m not totally sure how I feel about Shawarma Vite. My food wasn’t too great but I enjoyed trying the chicken shawarma. I had the Mediterranean platter and wasn’t the biggest fan of their hummus. Nothing was terrible but nothing was overly impressive either. The worst part about it was the filthy bathroom. It was obvious that the restaurant doesn’t get cleaned too well. I don’t think I’ll return and am confident there are better choices in the area than this.

Falafel was so perfectly crispy & moist inside. Tzadiki so creamy. Even the green salad w/feta, tomato & onions was lovely — dressed just right — not soggy w/dressing. Hummus dripping w/olive oil in a good way. Good value but a bit of a wait even when not crazy busy. Good stuff Norman.

They have amazing Shawarma wraps. The meat is really good(especially the lamb). In fact, all the food I’ve tried here(probably been 6 – 7 times) has been great. Friendly service. Great late night opening hours. The inside is okay. More of a take-out atmosphere. The location is not great compared to OU. I wish they were on campus corner. I’d rate 4.5 stars, but closer to 4 than 5.

Driving up and parking felt a little sketch. There were about 4 guys sitting in front smoking. Luckily, once we came in, we were greeted by the owner. He made some suggestions and we ended up getting the California Platter(grape leaves, Greek salad, chicken shawarma, pita bread, and hummus). The meat was piping hot and was seasoned well. The hummus wasn’t too watery or thick and I loved that it wasn’t too garlicky. After eating, I liked the fact I didn’t feel too full or heavy like I usually do after a Mediterranean meal.

I came in here after reading some reviews and hearing about this place. Walked in to nice little clean establishment. The smell of good meat cooking so at first I couldn’t wait to order. I was speaking to the guy at the deli he noticed my Marine Corp shirt so we engaged in conversation. This is when he beginning telling me that America needs to stay out of other countries affairs and I somewhat agreed. Then he took it to another level where I couldn’t hold my opinion back. I told him to leave this country if this how he felt about America & Americans who protect this nation… this place is UN-American and wouldn’t recommend this place…

I want to bathe in the tzatziki sauce. Just passing through here during my cross country trip and wanted to try something difference than fast food. What a pleasant surprise! I ordered the chicken gyro with hummus & pita. So much food the price! I could only eat half the plate and got the rest to go. Great fresh flavors. Service was great by all the handsome guys working there :)

Lots of food for the $$! I have had a lot of falafel sandwiches in my time, but this place(and its sister restaurant, Couscous, in OKC) is the only falafel that isn’t dry. It is moist and flavorful. Also it is the best-tasting hummus I have ever had – and I thought I used to make good hummus. I think when I need hummus, I should just get some of theirs to go.

I wasn’t very happy that I hadn’t heard of this place sooner since it is so close to my apartment, but it turns out they opened not too long ago. Everything I had was delicious and made to order. I got the Mediterranean platter. The chicken was tender and extra juicy and flavorful, and the dolma was the first time I’d had them and will definitely not be the last. Lots of spice and it all worked well together. I look forward to coming here again with friends and trying a pita sandwich and the falafel. Definitely the falafel. As this was my first visit, I had a taste for spiced chicken shawarma and the meal was so big I figured I’d have no room for extra sides. I was right. But falafel and cucumber sauce is definitely on the list of my top favorite foods. The atmosphere is normal café atmosphere. I don’t often judge my star reviews on this aspect unless it is very bad, but this was comforting and enjoyable even though I did get takeaway. Very clean! Very casual and you can see the employees working at the counter to make the food fresh. Not super cozy, but still very nice if you know what to expect. I love that they have a patio café and it’s the perfect distance to walk over and have a bite to eat outside on a cool evening if it wasn’t raining when I went in.
