The Avenue At Norman

Easily, one of the worst properties I’ve lived in. The staff is constantly unaware of what is going on, I’ve never payed rent late and they informed me I was 3 months past due… umm how does anyone even get 3 months past due without being evicted?
The hot tub has been out of order for 8 months, every time I ask when it will be fixed I’m told «parts are on order.» Where in the hell is this hot tub company located that it takes 8 months to get parts shipped from?
Items in the units are never fixed in a timely matter, I filed 3 separate work orders for my ice maker over 4 months before I finally just walked into the maintenance shed and asked them for the part so I could just install it.
If you have any options in the Norman area other than this place then go there.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR time and money here. We moved in as one of the very first residents, every month something new seems to sprout out and smack the **** out of your contract. Since we’ve lived here 11 months not 1 work order has actually been fixed we have never had a working ice maker. Our door has been broken in by a drunken college student, We had to call the police on. My car has been broken into in front of the VERY FRONT building and they had nothing to say as far as surveillance on anything. The pool we pay 10 $ a month extra for the Accommodation is a joke because every single day it’s full of 100 family members of a 2 – 10 year olds birthday party. There’s no privacy whatsoever with all of the «finger print scanning» security rooms which is EVERYTHING the clubhouse since day one has been trashed from people who do not even live here. The basketball goal has been broken for weeks because of the amount of people who don’t live here that break everything and nothing was done. The Gate that should have been up month 1 apparently hasn’t gone up because of «so called» the cottages problem with their gate I’m sorry I would LOVE to switch to the cottages for almost the same price as this ****hole. We pay extra for a furnished apartment which is one of the only amendments which was worth it. The NO grill and pet policy is a joke. HAH everybody and their roommate has a pet in their apartment and if you walk out into the backside of the apartments you will see NOTHING but grill after grill after grill Which has never been addressed. The «high speed internet» ²⁴⁄₇ is doing nothing but resetting all day because it can’t keep its Terrible connection because the bandwidth is Terrible. The TV channels are actually worth it which was worth part of rent actually. But that does not make up for every other terrible thing about these apartments. Every amendment in this place is the Biggest JOKE OF THEM ALL. If you want to live in apartments worth the monthly rent go to reserves, cottages, or you mine aswell find your own house. I wish I didn’t even have to give this place 1 star I wouldn’t even give it that. Worst apartment complex in Norman HANDS DOWN.

lesbian manager was so rude. do not sign here!!! She is irresponsible as well. My friends did not move in when they were suppose to move in either.

Probably don’t even deserve 1 star! There isn’t enough space to write all that is wrong here! We were told many different stories before move in !! After move in just got worse! Don’t listen to anything that is being sold to you just come and talk to some of the residents (you must find ones that don’t work there)
