The prices at good and it’s literally 10 minutes from my house. However, there are certain employees who are so slow or rude, I avoid at all costs. There is a slow lady in the deli area, who can be super nice. but it took her 20 minutes to cut 3 ½ lb meats for us today, and when we went to check out we realized she didn’t even give us the full ½ lb on ANY of the meats nor did she cut them how I asked. Next time, I will not get deli meat if she’s the one over there.

I live nearby and occasionally go to wal-mart for small things and maybe toys. I always have issues with the prices they put up and their systems not matching to reflect the marked down price of the items. Today I went in to buy a box of Lego minifigures that were marked down to $ 1 each When Gary the ass. Manager was not only completely unable to find the price marked on the shelf and I had to go back there and show him, but then he refused to honor the price as shown. Everybody knows that wal-mart has a tendency to prices items from different stores at different prices depending on stock and season. The new Lego toys of this season are about to be released in the next month and they are trying to make room in that section for those new toys. I understand why they would put several of the items back there on sale, but for the manager to come at me with the attitude and hesitance he did, made me think he was more interested in a petty power trip to be able to change a price than to sell things and keep the store in business. I won’t be going back there unless corporate calls me back and says that the price adjustment was valid and I can buy them at $ 1 each. This is NOT the first time this has happened, and honestly I would rather shop ANYWHERE else, because I don’t have to haggle with the store managers or associates about the clearly marked price of an item. Wal-Mart is really over priced unless something is on sale or clearance anyways. They cornered the market and then raised up prices without raising quality of anything. I went to the wal mart located at 60112th Ave Né, Norman, OK73071.

The Money Center customer service is awful. they would not cash a money from a different Wal-Mart store because it had«ink on it». The woman’s attitude was unprofessional. The pharmacy is employed with an entire staff of imbeciles. It only took them three days to figure out how to fill a prescription. Go to school people.

Average Walmart. Did not even have a 36″ foam roller… or a decent set of tools to tighten the microwave we bought that makes a ton of noise(still on the fence if we will have to return it), the dishes I got(Mainstays) were okay but the lamp with shelves was really flimsy and just cheap! I also got some Mainstays pots and pans… omg horrible! Do not waste your time, just spend the extra $ and get the quality stuff. They have okay prices on some things but if you go like 1 isle over you see damn near the exact item for half the price. it was kinda frustrating tbh. It seemed like every time I thought I got a good deal there was something that drew me to another isle looking for something similar that was less costly, which wasn’t always the case so if you are tight on time, you may end up spending too much because of how their layout of the store is. On a bright note: All the fishies look healthy and that is rare in any warehouse store lol. 3 stars… no more… I have been to way better Walmarts

It’s just an average Walmart. However, this one never seems busy which is a positive thing for me. I try to avoid them usually for this reason. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes.

I admit to shopping here because you can’t beat their prices. But honestly I hate going it’s always a 10 minute wait to check out. You have so many lanes but can only have 4 cashiers working. NONSENSE! I think they are going to remodel soon, every time I got recently things are being moved around. I will say they try to keep it all organized and have someone is almost every isle making sure its neat. Honestly, take a few of those people and put them on registers where they are needed.

This place should be investigate by EOOP for discrimination – they refuse to hire anyone with competence, teeth, or common sense. I’ve repeatedly had to teach cashiers to use their registers(and I have never worked at walmart) as well as endure random rants from«express» cashiers about subjects like their ex-spouses, cats, burglary, cholesterol, and prostate problems. Their undoubtedly the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for.

I usually hate everything about the WalMart shopping experience but I have to admit this store in East Norman is working hard to be a step above. My son was ready to purchase a new video game he’d saved for and Brenda helped him out. When she discovered it was not in stock, she called the other store in town to make sure he could get it there. Anytime someone in my family has a question, the workers pay attention and work to help. This is a far cry from the usual«deer in the headlight» look we get at most stores. I will never be a fan of WalMart but this particular store is definately a better shopping experience than I have had at most stores.

There are two Wal-Mart Supercenters in Norman, and even though I live in the eastern side of the town I try to avoid this one whenever possible. Not only is this store smaller which means you’ve considerably less choices, but I would say prices tend to be higher here for certain items namely fresh fruits and vegetables. I also think this store is badly managed. Compared to the other WM store on the west side, this one is dirty and often runs out of stuff. It’s not uncommon to see empty or near-empty shelves in the grocery area during evenings. Oh, did I mention how filthy the restroom is? Avoid unless it’s an emergency! Conclusion: If you need to shop at WM, do yourself a favor, and head to the one on the west side whenever you can. That one is bigger, better, and cleaner.
