I’ve been going here for a little while now. Cheapest place I know for inner tubes and small parts and the like. I repair my own bike, so I’m not really sure how their prices compare to other places on that kind of stuff, but otherwise, they’re very kind, knowledgeable and for the right price too.

Seems like a decent bike shop. I myself though skateboard and have been for 10 years now. Went to this place to check out some things for a new board set up and they were way to pricey!
I know that there is a lot of little kids in that area that most likely get their parents to buy them skateboards n other things. So being overpriced doesn’t stop them from buying it for their kids. Especially if the parents don’t have a clue that it’s overpriced. If anyone in that area needs skateboard parts or anything skateboard related, go to Uprise. That is by far the best skateboard shop in Chicago.

My husband and I have purchased three bikes and a bike trailer from 21st Century and that’s where we go for every tune up, new tire, you name it. Joe is a Chicago fire fighter, so we felt very comfortable with his advice to go for a trailer for our two-year-old as opposed to a bike seat. It’s a great family-run shop with lots of biking and skateboard supplies– tell Joe the Slaters say hello!
