Uh Oh, so after my trip to another seafood restaurant I decided what can happen if I keep it simple and go to Red Lobster? Mannnn. Warning: I guess, Red Lobster changed its menu(again)??? Okay, first off I recommend the grilled zucchini appetizer with the grilled asparagus. I do not remember the entrée so much, because I asked for a caesar salad with no dressing(watching my girlish figure) and low and behold there was a piece of lettuce with dressing. What is the big deal? well, it just means that people with allergies are screwed and that maybe they are just throwing all the uneaten salads from previous guests together and serving it to yours truly. I bet on the latter, because I know working in food service is terrible and short cuts are made. But I rather not get the salad little Timmy did not want to eat, and breathe upon two hours earlier. Plus, I when I order my drink it needs to be without ice, otherwise, I will just have water to drink. So the first time I ordered a sprite with no ice the server gave it to me correct! Awesome! But when he came to ask me if I wanted a refill after I was done with the entrée and the drink ten minutes beforehand, he gave it to me from a pitcher(??) with ice. Good news: the person I was with told me to give him 20% and he got it. Bad news: But now this place has my disdain.

This is one of the better locations I’ve been to. Although it was busy and there was a lengthy wait, the attentive service made up for it. The food was pretty decent and I absolutely loved the cheddar bay biscuits.

Food was fair. Service very slow. Told server it was my birthday and she said you have to pay for a treat. Meanwhile they were singing to multiple other people who were having birthdays. Did they too have to pay upwards of $ 6.99 for a dessert? Prices vs food quantity and quality was high. Will reconsider another $ 100 visit.

Please, for the sake of the company, get rid of that manager, Kamilla. She is the rudest manager I’ve ever come across. I’ve seen her bark order at employees while she overwhelms them with tables. She walks around the restaurant harassing employees and even saw her on her phone while eating and smoking a cigarette as we left. This isn’t the first time. The food is mediocre, but what do you expect from a seafood fast food chain? Anyway, besides the rude manager, the restaurant is always packed and everyone looks like chickens with their heads cut off. It’s always hot in the restaurant, especially in the summer time. Turn on the air! The poor severs and customers are hot! Restaurants should be kept cool. I’m done going to this specific location. Lots of improvement needs to be done with management.

Alright I came over today with my wife for a spectacular lunch of steak, fried shrimp, rice&vegetables and let me say oh yeah it was the BOMB !!! We started with the signature biscuits and a fresh salad and man is this place heavenly. We’ve been coming here for 20+years and the are still consistent. I highly recommend this institutional neighborhood steak and lobster &seafood restaurant. I can’t wait to come back. Happy eating

Let’s start with the fact that shrimp is delicious and — in general — Red Lobster does a fine job preparing seafood to the masses. This review is specifically for this location. I’ll preface my review with the fact that I’ve worked in food service for years in every front of house role and most in the kitchen. Also, Saturday is busy — no question. So, that brings me to calling ahead and how they handled that experience: Our family was headed in the direction of this location and I called 45 minutes ahead to make a reservation. A helpful hostess answered(Nina) and explained that she couldn’t take our reservation for that exact time because they have a two reservation at that time policy. I asked if another time would be better thinking we could adjust +/-15 minutes if that works. Nina, the hostess, explained that our time shouldn’t be a problem. The wait ‘shouldn’t be that long and they would just push two tables together.’ We arrived thirty minutes later — 15 minutes ahead of the time we originally anticipated — and the place was a mad house. Mad — as in customers were pushing through a crowd to get out — because they were angry with the place. I could see why. The host /hostess desk was disorganized, with 5 staffers standing around looking frazzled. I waited for my turn and asked for Nina. She identified herself, smiled and said she remembered my call. I asked her for the wait and she dead pan quoted me 90 minutes. 90 minutes. Stunned, I reminded her that she said she remembered my call and that we drove there based upon her suggesting that it wouldn’t be long and that they could push tables together. She said that they are very busy. Yes, I agreed — which is why I called ahead and then drove there based upon what she told me. She looked uncertain of what to do. I asked if her manager is there and she gestured toward the middle of the group of frenzied staffers. After explaining that we called ahead and what Nina told us, the manager(Camille) actually smiled and said that they are *very* busy and that the wait is 90 minutes. She actually smiled as if enjoying the moment. We left and quickly hit Unilocal.Blossom Café — nearby — was about a 10 –15 minute wait and has a great selection. Outback — a bit further — had a 10 – 15 minute wait and were very helpful. They also have terrific shrimp and salmon choices. Lessons learned: Yes, we understand how incredibly busy they are at Red Lobster(which is why we called ahead). Furthermore, train your staff on basic high volume phone etiquette. Nina’s lack of detail and suggestion that they would get us in came across as a bait and switch. Very poor show! However, Camille’s attitude of indifference that speaks volumes. She could have easily stepped aside to take in the details and act the manager. She didn’t have to bump us in line(although that would have been nice) but at least buy us a round of drinks or apologize for the confusion. None of that happened — she was VERY busy, you see. Whatever. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. As for Red Lobster, I recall Yogi Berra put it aptly ‘that restaurant is so busy, nobody goes there anymore.’

I have always and still do prefer Joes Crab Shack over Red Lobster… I dont think you get enough food for your dollar and the staff is always more friendly. This visit only justifies, yet again, why do i come here lol … My husband, step son, and i ate here for a late dinner. Our waiter took forever to come get our drinks, our appetizer came and we didnt finish it and our meals were coming out. My step sons food had a spice to it and we were all sitting there with empty drinks and no water. It has been a regular habit of this Red Lobster that their staff isnt very good. We went at 8:00pm thinking it was going to be better bc the dinner rush was gone… Nope still the same! Both my husband and step son had the fish tacos and they were still hungry after they ate. I think its a better idea next time we are in the mood for seafood to take the ride to Joes, well worth it

We ordered the endless shrimp x 2 a crab dinner for 1& a 3 lb lobster for another. Only the crab dinner was completely satisfied. The endless shrimp selectors were disappointed with the teriyaki shrimp skewers as the shrimps were very small & seemed to be glued to the stick. The pineapple habanero shrimp were all sweet with no spice. The member of our party who can not tolerate any spice was able to consume the habanero shrimp with no qualms. The lobster came out chewy the shell itself was a bright pink, as far as I’m aware the lobster shell should be red still. The manager asked me how did I like it; I expressed my concerns & instead of an apology I got«fresh lobster has a different taste & texture than the store bought imitation kinds» what an insult! So what made her think that I cannot distinguish between real & imitation lobster? This I may never know but what I do know is the $ 173 I just spent in Red Lobster is the last dime they will ever see from me Buyer Beware!

It is a Red Lobster. You know what you are going to get: acceptable sea food, slightly over priced, but with cheddar-biscuits that you would be okay with eating your weight in. Thing is: It was Saturday night and the four of us were just looking for a place to eat, for anything, and it was the first thing we saw that we could agree on. It was crowded, so we chose to eat at the bar. The bartender/server working that night was really on point. That’s worth an extra star in my book.

Our server, Mattie, was top notch! Extremely attentive and friendly. I don’t go to red lobster often, not a big fan. Other than the biscuits of course, always a fan of those. The last time was probably over 5 years ago. I was hungry for shrimp and with the bottomless shrimp going on I thought I’d give them another go. My first batch of coconut shrimp were tiny and over cooked. Not a complainer so I didn’t say anything. They still had good flavor. Re-upped on more coconut shrimp and they were perfect. Then, she kept bringing more and more shrimp, flavors we didn’t ask for but she thought we should try. Our table was set to feed a party of 8 in no time. Mattie, you rock! I will be back for sure thanks to our server.

So my family and I just got out of a graduation that literally lasted 4 hours. So we are hungry!!! Anyways the five of us sat down and waited for our server. She came and introduced herself and took our drink order and walked away. Then right after that another server came up and introduced herself thinking she was going to be our server. We found it funny but they should have been more aware of the sections they are in. Our first round of food came out, I had a caeser salad and there was also clam chowder and the lobster bisque. And I’ll tell you it was amazing. When our entrees came out then it was time to really feast. One dish was the cajun chicken alfredo. It was alright, it was a little to heavy on the cheese to sit and enjoy to the end. The other dish was the shrimp trio, which was amazing if you are a fan of shrimp. Basically having shrimp prepped in more than one way plus the diff sauces to pair it. I had the new tropical lobster tail. WOW. the fact that they had the meat still attached to the tail but it was still breaded in coconut shavings was impressived. The sauce that came with just made the dish to perfection. I almost finished my plate but unfortunately I filled my appetite with those complimentary biscuits that no one ever stops talking about. We grabbed our food to go and asked for the check. The server was very polite in handing our bill and helped box our food up. Only word of advice I’d give any future visitors is you don’t want to go towards closing time because like in any other resteruant, they tend to rush a bit.

Went here for lunch today w my husband and ma. Our server was Bernard and he was FANTASTIC. He had about four other tables he was waiting on but we couldnt tell, because he was that attentive. Great bang for your buck. Not skimpy. Great options. We ordered apps, main entrees each, non alcoholic beverages for a total of $ 114. Glad we chose this place for lunch! Will definitely be back.

We were greeted and seated very quickly at lunch time which was great. Our server was very friendly. He got a little busy and didn’t check back as much during the second half of our visit. It happens I guess. The food was just okay but I didn’t get anything too exciting. I had the lobster bisque soup which was good but I have had better. Although I would order it again. I also had a side salad with grilled shrimp. Again, that was just okay. I wouldn’t say the shrimp was anything special.

My husband and I came here on Sunday night to get some dinner around 7pm. He really wanted some of their fresh fish, and I was craving the snow crab legs. We have been to Red Lobster multiple times, and have ordered these dishes numerous times. However, this was our first time at this location. We were seated right away when we walked in and the staff was very attentive, from the hostess to our waiter. We decided to order right away because we already knew what we wanted. Once my husband ordered the Atlantic Salmon from the fresh fish menu, our waiter informed us that they were out of fresh fish. That was really disappointing, and it was only 7pm. I mean how can a seafood place be out of fresh fish! Anyways, we decided to get the snow crab legs to go and stop by Whole Foods on our way home to pick up some fresh fish. When we were done cooking the fish and sat down for dinner, I was really excited to dig into the crab legs. However, our disappointment continued when we started cracking the crab legs open and realized that about 60% of them were dry, brittle, and uneatable. I don’t know if they were old, over-cooked, or just out of season, but they were unacceptable. I don’t want to pay $ 30 for 1.5lb of snow crab legs and not even be able to eat half of them. I’m not sure when we will be returning to Red Lobster in general! VERY disappointing experience!
