Things Remembered

I needed a gift for my step daughter’s middle school graduation and wanted to get her something special so I thought of coming here as my family members have bought me very nice things for me on my special occasions! I walked in there and was very much so overwhelmed with all the nice things in the store that I could’ve potentially gotten for her and was honestly confused. Then a sales clerk walked up to me and was very kind, and helpful, she asked what I was looking for and I told her and said I want to get her something nice but wow I’d buy ½ the store for my daughter if I could. I asked what were some popular items for graduation and if they had graduation things. I was shown a bunch of graduation and other popular items but was still confused. I asked how much notice did she need to engrave the gift, she said it only takes an hour to an hour and a half! I was very much so pleased with that!!! I remember a long time ago many places needed a week! But an hour to an hour and a half… WOW!!! I asked if they had a website and /​or a catalog, she said yes. I said okay what hours are you here and told her I would be back. I took a few days to decide on a gift and came back. I picked the Graduation Memory box. I then was shown a book of engravings and that is where they get you. The gifts are moderately priced but the engraving can kill you depending on what you want on it, then again when you can get a gift in an hour and a half who could complain. :-) Over all my experience was absolutely wonderful! The store was clean, the staff very helpful and kind. I would definitely shop there again and recommend my friends and family to come to this location!

Loved the fact that I could not only find the perfect gift but I could customize it as well making it more personal and from the heart… Only dislike employees were swearing quite a bit. I have a very impressionable 2 year old… Swearing is a no go in a place that that…

I needed a great gift for a great guy friend of mine.
It needed to be special. he is not an ordinary man!
So. for the special man I need a special gift!
And I found it at Things Remembered located in the
Harlem-​Irving Mall.
Things remembered is a beautiful store filled with many different
things that can be engraved and I found the perfect gift for my friend.
A leather wallet and key chain set. it was even on sale!
I was Happy! I like a good deal!
I also saw some lovely waterglobes that could be engraved.
I did’nt think he would appreciate a waterglobe but I sure would!
So. I hope everyone who loves me and reads this knows
that I really love waterglobes!
So, the sale price was really decent and that was before the engraving cost.
So. a word to the wise. the more letters or things engraved the higher
the cost.
But. did’nt matter I even had a lovely scroll engraved for this very
special person
And. it only took an hour to engrave so I walked around the mall,
bought a pair of great suede boots and even had time for an
Auntie Anne’s pretzel! I love those pretzels.:)
The cost per letter can be pricey and a can of alphabet soup
also has letters but not classy ones!
So. I hope my friend is happy with his gift.
I actually gave it to him tonight, and he liked it!
This makes me happy!
Things remembered is a lovely store with lovely waterglobes, jewelry,
and other items…
For a special gift for someone special this could be the place to go.
I like this place, and I recommend it highly to others.
