I liked Dr. Milstein a lot! When I went to see him last year to have veins removed from my leg it was a pleasant experience. The doctor had an intern with him who was so amazed at how the veins just disappeared as he injected them with a needle that you could barely feel. He has a wonderful personality and will tell you the truth. If you don’t need something done he will tell you and if you do then he will still tell you how he feels about the procedure. Point is he doesn’t just do this for money. He actually is honest with the patient. For instance(my mom and I both see him) my Mom went a week ago(she had them done prior because she feels some new ones appeared) and wanted to get rid of them before it was full blown summer. Some veins go away immediately and some it could take months. The veins she wanted removed the Doctor felt as if it wasn’t necessary because they will take at least the summer to go away. He told her to make another appointment so that she is ready to go for next summer. He was absolutely right. She could of said just do them but he warned her others could circulate and then she would just be coming back twice. So she rescheduled for a more opportune time. I on the other hand just made an appointment for June 10th and do remember the doctor telling me the vial still had some liquid left in it so in a few months to come back and he will do the cluster veins again with the remainder of what I had left. I am 40 and love my legs but genetics! All those years sitting in catholic school with your legs crossed did a number on my legs. Last year I couldn’t even wear a skirt they were so bad. Until my visit on the 10th, I will visit the Boscov’s counter and see if I can get a sample of body & leg cover up foundation from Dermablend. DERMABLENDIS A GODSENDTOTHOSEOFUSWHOHAVELESSTHENPERFECTLEGSAT40(or any age). I do have edema in my feet and ankles in the summer months(hot & warm months) and I believe the veins around my ankles are from that but the Doc won’t touch that area. That is when the Dermablend is needed. Dr. Milstein is a WONDERFUL doctor and a very honest one at that. Thank you to the staff and the Doctor of course! See you in June!

the doctor up & closed his office with 2 days notice, according to the parent company Family Dermatology. DIDNOTNOTIFYPATIENTS! now i have to scramble to find a new doctor who can get me precert for the procedure i’ve been having done for 5 years now and rely on. all because this doctor and his staff cannot communicate. i was at the office in april, and nothing was mentioned then. i received no phone call, no postcard, NOTHING. this is exteremly unprofessional and inconvenient to the people who pay your salary. you should be ashamed.
