Every single thing I’ve eaten here has been really good! One of the best sub shops I’ve lived by!

What a treat! We stopped randomly off 495, to grab lunch, and were greeted by super friendly and warm employees, including the owner. We chatted while we waited for our sandwiches, and they couldn’t have been nicer. They brought our lunches out to us(that were made super quickly), which is rare, and even brought out some complimentary cinnamon rolls, just to try!!! We aren’t in North Andover much, but if we are ever close, we will be back! Thank you for a refreshing experience and not having another place that just pushes through its customers to get more business.

I’ve like to start out to express my displeasure of my two recent experience at the«quality pizza and sub place». The first time I went there I orderd a steak and cheese. It was my far the worst sub I’ve ever eaten. It was cold lacking cheese and the extra mayo I asked for well let’s just say a family in the great depression had more mayo that was on this sub. To top it all off it was over well over priced. Now let’s talk about my 2nd trip I always like to give place a 2nd chance well I should really stopping giving them out. After seeing that they were voted best pizza. I decided to order a simple pepperoni pizza. Well who ever in the right mind voted them best pizza should loss his or hers job and never be aloud to comment on food ever again. It was extra greasy/oily more oily then the coast of Mexico after the BP spill. It wasn’t ever well priced. So if you like cold cheeseless subs. And pizza that you have to physical shake the grease AND if you want to over pay for far below sub par pizza then this is your SPOT! If i had to choice between having to never eat pizza again or having to eat at this place ever time I would easy cut pizza out of my diet without having to give it a 2nd thought. I would make this review longer but I have to go throw up after eating there pizza.

This is now one of my go to pizza shops. The food is always great along with the fantastic service and fair prices I strongly recommend you try them out. Give them a try and say goodbye to your old pizza shop because I guarantee you that they are 10x better(I have tried them all).

Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. Sandwiches, salads, wraps have all been delicious! Get their steak tips if you can, they’re so tender and marinated to perfect(I usually get them on a garden salad with house made greek dressing that is also out of this world!). Very fresh, authentic, and good portion sizes.

I’d really love to love this place, but my last 2 visits went okay and then really bad, respectively. I ordered steak tip Caesar on Syrian wrap both times. I called to commend whomever made it the first time. It was delicious, except the tips were slightly overcooked but still edible. I always order them medium-rare and they were closer to well done. I ordered it a second(and last) time, again asked for medium-rare and got tips so overcooked and gamey, I picked them out and just had a plain, salad wrap. I’ve given them enough chances and won’t be going back.

Went here today and the food was amazing! I got the chicken finger dinner, my boyfriend got a calzone. The chicken fingers are not typical sub shop chicken fingers. I don’t think they use frozen chicken, but rather make them fresh, yum! It comes with two sides and I got fries and onion rings. The fries are steak fries and nice and crispy, onion rings were good too. The meal also comes with a dinner roll… great quality for $ 11, I’ve also had their pizza before too which I thought was great. Definitely the«go to» place in the North Andover area!

We order from here at least four times a week(terrible, I know). The garlic knots are to die for! And the pizza is super yummy. The only negative I have is they are forgetful on orders. There has been 4 times my drink was forgottwn or they put no chicken on a salad. Still a great place though!

I like this place a lot, I work across the street and this is my go to place for lunch. The people are very friendly and remember my name. The food is great almost every time! One time they gave me pretty dry roast beef, but that was an isolated incident… my recommendation: The Chicken Kabob sub!

J&M is one of many pizza and sub place in the area but it is by far the best. I have not tried much from the menu because when I do try something I love it so much I keep getting it over and over. For example, the SPICYCHICKENCALZONE is to die for. My girlfriend and I get it just about every weekend and have yet to get sick of it, don’t think it’s possible. The large calzone can satisfy four people, the subs are generously sized too. We’ve also tried the chicken kabob and steak tip salad. Both are delicious and a good portion for the price. They make it a point to get to know their customers and are always pleasant. There was a couple times in the past we’ve had to wait but it was worth it, sometimes shit happens in the kitchen and you just gotta roll wit it. LOVETHISPLACE!!!

This place is in the roots of North Andover. I remember having interactions as a kid with the two brothers who owned it. Their food is delicious even with new owners. The pizza recipe I think changed because I don’t get pizza their as I used. I wish the original sauce with heavy garlic came back. My favorite sub here is the chicken finger with sauce an provolone cheese. It comes with hot chicken on a room temperature bread and non melted cheese. Its fantastic. When I pass through I must stop for that sandwich.

Great for what it is when you want it: lunch time sub shop. I always get a chicken kabob Greek salad and it never disappoints and is always consistent. Fills the need when you have that specific lunch craving.

This is one of my favorite sub shops in the area(with a recently expanded menu). They have the best steak tip on Greek salad. I really don’t know how they marinate their tips, but they are absolutely delicious. I devour the caprese chicken sub(herb grilled chicken with mozzarella, vine-ripened tomato, lettuce, pesto.) Tons of prosciutto in their prosciutto and mozzarella sub. The chicken cutlet sub melts in your mouth. Nice cobb and mandarin grilled chicken salads, too. Garlic knots are addictive. Their fried seafood is plentiful(scallops, shrimp, haddock, clams). Staff has always been warm and friendly to me. Ann is a sweetheart and always asks me how my day was. If J&M just offered grilled seafood and a decent lobster roll, I would give it 5 stars. But overall, a very, very good neighborhood place to go, with a great large menu, excellent salads, sandwiches, and steak tips, and good fried seafood offerings. :-)

Very ordinary. Want a sub and not too picky, it will do. Torn between a two and three star because some offerings are better than others. They lost a star for originality, Same as sooooo many others.

J&M is a popular sub shop around here in North Andover. I’d say that the food is fine. Its your average sub and pizza shop, nothing special. I tried their steak bomb on recommendation. It was fair, but the same as anywhere else. Got an eggplant parm and a chicken park sub today, not bad, straight to the point. I wouldn’t rant and rave about the place, but its definitely not a gamble. You’ll get a fine sandwich or pizza, and its safe to say you won’t be surprised at its uniqueness, or be disappointed.
