Supercuts in general are hit or miss type of places and this North Andover salon on Peters Street is no different. The problem is you never know who will be cutting your hair when you walk in the door. It really helps to know the stylists employed here as some are great and some aren’t. I’ve been going there for years and was really disappointed to hear one of their best stylists, Kerriann Cogswell, had moved on to Haircuts Etc. in Lawrence. An additional problem is the stylist’s schedules are not consistent week to week and you always have to call ahead to see what the stylist schedule is for that particular week. I would recommend this Supercuts only if you are in a hurry and need a fast haircut as the wait in the North Andover salon is rarely more than one hour.

The service is terrible. None of the employees seem like they want to be working there. Seems like they hate there job and express it to clients Michelle spent 45 min. With a guy that came in and said he was in a rush. Just a trim They took 4 people ahead of me because they were friends. What was supposed to be 20 min. Was 1hr before I walked out Save yourself. Life is to short to spend it at this super cut

Today, I called ahead and was told the wait was 20 – 25 minutes, I arrived in 20 minutes, and checked in at the front desk. I waited and waited to be called. Finally after 75 minutes I left. Talk about poor customer service. How about a little honesty upfront. Plus you never know who your going to get. Every time you leave with a different style. My advice, find a little Mom and Pop place, and get to know your hairstylist.

Was pleasantly surprised after going to Supercuts. Andover. My stylist was very knowledgeable and was excellent in giving me a great haircut! Price was wonderful and very happy with my haircut! Highly recommended! !

I ended up in this place by chance and I was not disappointed. Wanted a color, cut and style for the New Year’s Eve and they took so much care of me. Jen was excellent: just to make sure I got the color I wanted, she took so much time to mix the colors and even did a test on my neck to check it out before applying completely. I was a bit nervous, but the color came out gorgeous, exactly how I wanted it… even better. The cut was great as well and I felt great. I will definitely go back.

I started going here when my regular barber I’d been going to since the early ’70’s retired. You get a good haircut at a reasonable price. My «old» barber always trimmed my mustache — I miss that. They don’t here. He was a bit more expensive though! — One thing I can’t quite get used to is that they enter your name and the date in their computer when you go, so when you go back, they know when you were there last. Big Brother and Big Sister are watching!

I really like this Supercuts. So much so, that I actually drive out of my way to go here. My hairstyles don’t change wildly, so I’m a pretty easy customer. The one thing I do like about this place is some of the«exploring» I’ve done here. I usually come in with a picture, and they cut it pretty close, but sometimes it’s a bit different, with a pleasant end result. I’ve gotten to rock a faux hawk, had a Ceaser, and various other cuts that I would never ask for, not because I don’t want them, but because I just am not adventurous. Obviously if you have very specific, demanding standards your going to want the same person all the time, but if your like me, and your cool working in a framework, jumping between different hairstylists at this Supercuts is a way to constantly reinvent yourself. Recommend!

Not the best haircut around, but you get what you pay for. It is pretty much always the cheapest haircut around. As long as you don’t ask for something too fanciful, they can accomodate you. It is mostly young beauty school graduates who don’t have much experience. However, you never really have to wait that long there and it is pretty much in and out. I guess this place is ok if your barber or stylist is closed for the day.

I have gone here again for my last two haircuts in which I have changed my style a lot. The two different times I was there each stylist took the time to listen and I ended up with a great result. The entire staff has seemed to turn over and now are much more customer focused. Great place and very reasonably priced.

My mother took me here when I was younger when my standard barber shop was closed. It was pre-gay days. It was pre-thin days. It was pre-spends money on vanity days. Those days are gone. It’s like a haircut factory… I felt like I should have been placed on a conveyor belt with a bowl on my head for a trim.

Normally I’m not a huge fan of retail-chain salons, but I really needed a haircut the other day and Supercuts was the nearest place with people who work with scissors. So naturally, I went. Upon entering Supercuts, I strolled right up to the counter and… waited for two minutes for the person in front of me to finish paying her haircut tab. But as soon as she got out of the way, I stepped up and proclaimed, «I’d like a Supercut, please!» The woman behind the counter laughed and assured me that I would indeed receive a Supercut momentarily. Then she told me to sit down. I headed towards a seat in the waiting area, right next to the magazine rack. In one smooth motion, I sat down while plucking last month’s issue of Esquire magazine out of the rack. No sooner had the seat of my shorts reached the chair did the woman who had promised me a Supercut call my name. I looked up, and she beckoned. I followed her to a chair and as I sat down, my hairdresser-for-the-day asked me how I wanted me hair cut. I pointed at the ‘do sported by the dashing model behind the shampoo station. And we got down to business. When all was said and done, I had a thoroughly refreshed head of hair that looked not too dissimilar from that on the model I had pointed out earlier. Needless to say, I was quite satisfied with the experience, and now I can kind of get a fauxhawk going if I get my hair to dry a certain way. Sweet.
