My boyfriend and I absolutely love going here! The food is always excellent and the service is the best. Soo happy we have this restaurant so close to our house!

Just a few days prior I had a really bad experience with Greek food and wasn’t expecting to jump back in the saddle so fast. But happenstance is funny that way and I stumbled upon this place I didn’t even know existed. (Worth noting my first experience with a chicken gyro was just a building away at the Arlington Diner and I probably had a hundred of them at ungodly hours while drunk but that was a long time ago.)
Excellent and delicious — I couldn’t be happier with my decision to stop here.
By far the best gyro I’ve had locally. And it could stand up to the ones I had while island-​hopping through Greece in my youth (I know, I couldn’t help myself to brag a bit. Even though it was just last summer, well into middle-​age, that I was lucky enough to visit and my credit cards are still maxed out from the vacation!).
Their ‘mega’ (double pita, extra fries — take that Dr. Atkins!) for under $ 10 is a really belly-​pleaser. (Anyone else get self-​conscious if you’re supposed to pronounce it gigh-​ro or yee-​ro or gee-​ro? Of course I stumbled while placing an order but the lady couldn’t have been nicer as I butchered her native language.)
Definitely recommended.

so to start off the food here is great I just had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend today and the gyros and down to the Greek drink which we fell in love with was on point. But that is not the best part the women who works there and the rest of the staff goes above customer services, she has a way to her that had us feel at home (something you do not get much of these days). I almost found my self calling her mom, not only will I go here for my Greek food fix I can honestly say I will pop in for a quick snack and some great energy and conversation. Thank you for such a delightful night.

My daughter loves the falafel and the gyros. I enjoy the greek salad and the specials. The soups are very good. The wait staff and chef are very nice, very pleasant. The prices are good for what you get. We are repeat customers.
The pita bread is delicious, and so far everything we’ve had, we’ve enjoyed.
Nice clean place too, realize it is a slot in a strip mall and looks as such (although Centanni in the same strip mall definitely resembles a high class restaurant).
They have daily specials too. My only recommendation is… while they’ve got fries on the menu, they may want to add hamburgers too. Greek salad AND a hamburger? Yes, please.

The yeero/​gyro was like the one I had on the Greek island of Mykonos. Pillowy pita, creamy sauce, fries inside, a mouthful of soft, salty heaven. We had a good meal for two — pastichio, briam, a yeero, hummus, soda, and coffee– for about $ 30 so it was a great value. The Greek coffee was exactly right, a bit of crema/​foam on top and a dark sludge on the bottom. It was barely grainy at all, like a caffeinated brownie.
However, the hummus was ho-​hum (yes, I went there, shoot me). It needed more pita. The briam was a little cold, and my companion ended up spooning it atop his pastichio.
I would go back and I might order delivery. The waitress was very nice.

Delicious. I placed a pick up order today and the lady was super nice. The minute I get there the food smells amazing. I ordered the chicken yeero, the soulvaki platter and the braim. Everything was so good. Highly recommend this place. The rice pudding is to die for… this is our new fav place

Excellent food. Lamb souvlaki was delicious. So was the sauces that came with it.
Love their appetizers too. Had the grape leaves and potato and garlic dip.
The service was great. We had the food delivered and our order was taken by a very friendly lady. She even threw in baklava on the house. Loved it!

I walked into this place looking for a quick gyro. I had minimal time and even less expectations. To my delightful surprise I discovered my new weekly dinner hotspot. Gyros are just the tip of the iceberg here. They have an incredibly talented Greek Chef who cooks like a God. The most delicious TRUE Greek food and desserts outside of Astoria. Spinach Pie, Moussaka, Pastitsio, Baklava, Galactomboureko, etc,. etc,. And by etc,.? I mean daily specials that are to die for. So grab your own bottle of spirits and go treat yourself. You won’t be sorry. That’s right. You can even BYOB. What else can I say except Clean, Quaint, Inexpensive, Scrumptious and a staff who offers the warmest and best service I’ve EVER experienced. I truly love this restaurant.

Everything I order from here is sooooooo delicious! I just tried the grape leaves and they are like crack, couldn’t stop eating them! Delivery is really fast! The food is obviously so good! The staff is sooo friendly! I love greek food so I’m so glad this little gem is close to home!

Yes! Found my go-​to Greek spot.
I got a gyro pita, greek style fries, and grape leaves (which I’ll explain shortly). The food was all fantastic. They put fries into the pita, which I love, and overall it was the best Greek food I’ve had in a long time.
As for the grape leaves — I’ve never had grape leaves before and I didn’t order them, but somehow they ended up in my order. The staff were extremely friendly and took the charge off right away. Since I’ve never had them before, I didn’t know what to expect. They taste amazing! I don’t have any comparisons, but I do know that the next time I go I’ll actually be ordering them!
Overall a quick pickup order, friendly staff, and great food. Will go back soon for sure.

I decided to check this place out because I love Mediterranean food. I ordered the falafel platter which came with 3 big falafel balls, fries, lettuce tomatoe and pita. The falafel balls were way too spicy. Maybe some people will like but not my preference I’ve deffinatley had better falafel. The platter was 12 $ and for the amount of food they gave me it wasn’t worth the price. It didn’t even come with rice or anything. I’ve gone to Bosporus (Turkish) in Nutley and paid 15 $ for a chicken platter but the amount of food and quality is 100 times better. Also they have better falafel. The only thing I liked about this place was the pita bread but I don’t think I’ll be returning for a second time.

Hot damn true Greek food. I have said can’t wait til they open as they were renovating the old KFC spot. Yet I have passed it numerous times as I picked up my cleaning supplies from their neighbor Dollar General. I am so freaking glad I stopped in I ordered a mega chicken yeero OUTSTANDING I shed a tear when it was all gone. Me wife grabbed the Horiatiki I should’ve done that but there is a next time. The décor is comfortable Greek olive oil on the tables. Baklava looks DELICIOUS enough to eat but I had to pass cause it has nuts in it. It was ordered to go though a slice for home to devour later. I will say eat in or take out you will be so glad you did. Then you will turn and give the closes person to you and give them a hug and kiss on the cheek. You will be so happy after your meal once home you will read up on Greek Mythology.

I never had rock hard pita bread in my life… Microwaved to death… My potato side dish was swimming in oil an lemon. An they forgot my appetizer. What a beautiful place but the food is a flop

Who doesn’t love me some Greek food. If that’s you, then stop reading!!! Love this place. Get the Potato Garlic Dip! Yummy warm pita with room temp/​cold flavored well with garlic dip — married well to me. Also get the Gyro pita with extra meat! More protein don’t complain! Banging! Last week I enjoyed some awesome lunch here. Plenty of seats, plenty of parking and plenty of olive oil… Yes peeps every table is decked out with olive oil.
Demetry suggested the potato garlic dip and it was amazing. It had a hummus flow just minus the chickpeas. Now onto to gyros! The regular is filling. Now add extra meat and your good to go. Now I went this route as the mega gyro is only doubling up on pita and the platter is open faced gyro, so I figured regular pita with extra would be dope and I was correct! Flavors were good and had a nice hint of spice. Demetry was so awesome he even comped me with some amazing baklava. This desert was an awesome way to finish off my lunch. It was flaky, nutty, sweet and had hints of cinnamon and nutmeg!
I loved everything here. It’s not a romantic date spot, but def a cool place to sit and enjoy some Greek food. I’ll be back (in my Arnold voice), trying to convince Niki K she needs this in her life. Enjoy this place folks. Good things happening here.

This place was amazing! I’ve never left a Unilocal review before but I need this place to stay open so here we are. The service was great and the portions were perfect.
I had the Chicken skewer platter and loved all of it. The Greek coffee was also really good. Easily the best Greek food I’ve ever had.

The gyros are truly authentic! They are tasty and a must have. The meat was tender and juicy. The staff was friendly. We sent our honeymoon in Greece and this was the best gyros since. Thankful for a REAL Greek food!

Wow great new place. So happy. I was greeted the second I walked in. Place was spotless and smelled great. Owner came over and showed me menu and explained everything. Open kitchen so you can see them make everything. I got it to go and food was ready in a flash.
I got the chicken gyro platter. It was great fresh hot and very tasty. Sauce was great and fries were hot and fresh. I hope everyone tries this place so it stays open and I can get my lunch.
