Love the pistachio almond ice cream! But hate that they use styrofoam… So I get a cone!

We drove by this place by chance and decided to stop in. There were no other customers and the only employee was what I’m assuming was the owner, a cute little old man. It was funny to see him against the contrast of a bright pink ice cream parlor filled with stuffed animals and candy. He served me two scoops of the pistachio almond ice cream and it was literally the best ice cream I’ve had in my life. It tasted like heaven. You could tell it was home made, super thick and flavorful. This was by far the best discovery I’ve ever made.

I usually enjoy going to Pink Dipper when Im in town, but today was awful. The girl behind the counter had no customer skills. Instead of a greeting, all we got was a blank stare. Was totally igmored until I had to finally ask if I could be served. Note to owners… train your employees to have better customer service skills

We were riding around enjoying the day and I thought ice cream would be great. We decided to try something other than Dairy Queen or Sonic. Went in and sat at the counter and told the older man that I was in the mood for something really chocolaty. He just looked at me and walked away. Zero personality. Ok, I decided to get the chocolate chocolate chip and told him when he came back. The ice cream is really good, but is bit worth it? We then ate our ice cream and checked out the Unilocal reviews. All the comments about the signs about not touching all the crap toys is true. Why display all this junk at eye level for kids to see and have signs that threaten? This is hell for parents. This place could really be something if they got rid of all the rude signs and tried being friendly. The people that work here really seem unhappy and are definitely not friendly. Next time I am going to Dairy Queen on Washington rd, they have been working on their image. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and they are quick.

Children will remember the ice cream. Parents will remember the draconian law imposed on all patrons of the Pink Dipper. Ice cream is weighed before served, do not touch /do not open signs are posted by all toys for sale, «you break you buy» warnings for $.25 candy, and the bathroom is only accessible via quick jaunt around the building with a PVC pipe keychain. Normally I eschew chains for local joints, but even tasty sweets, nostalgia, and anti-corporate sentiment cannot override my dislike of ornery business owners. Why own an ice cream parlor if you try to suck all the joy out of spending money in one?

Ice cream here is AMAZING. The atmosphere has a old fashion style to it with vintage video game machine and parlor stools. I loved it

As one who loves local establishments it pains me to share this story… I was in there last week and I observed a Black customer being told the bathroom was out of order, this on its own has no value until a handful of minutes later a White lady asked for the bathroom key and it was promptly handed over. The never friendly owners were the ones that perpetrated this social injustice and I don’t care how badly I’m craving Red Velvet Cake ice cream I will never spend a dime there again. I certainly will never recommend this establishment either!

This is an older ice cream parlor. Building needs some TLC, and the bathroom is outside.(Don’t forget to ask for key.) The ice cream choices are quite large for a small place. I tried the cookie dough and it was very good. I would come back just for the ice cream.

The only good thing here is the ice cream. The staff leaves a to to be desired. Almost felt like I was not wanted there. When we could not decide which ice-cream sounded good, the lady seemed aggravated. If you do not want people to decide on what would be good then just have vanilla. the do not touch signs on toys aimed at children is ridiculous. I would not go back personally, but the granddaughter loves it.

It’s cute, old-fashioned and kind of gaudy. Haha. You’ll see. The waffle cones are delish! They taste like they are made fresh. There are an overwhelming number of flavors of icecream and the prices are very reasonable. It’s so hard to decide! I liked the cookies and cream and the chocolate almond. I’ll be back again!

I loved this place. Clearly a community hang-out, from the teenagers scooping ice-cream flirting with the boys just in from football practice, to the grandparents bringing their granddaughter in for a treat, to a young couple enjoying each others company. The old games awesome. The ice cream good – not great – but good. The only strange thing is the overabundance of hello kitty. And the copious signs saying«Oh my God, don’t let your kid touch anything.» Seriously? Then put it up on a high shelf! I felt like we could have enjoyed ourselves a lot more if we weren’t constantly trying to keep our kids away from the pretty, shiny, crinkly-wrapped toys. Its kind of cruel to have them so temptingly arrayed, right at eye level!

Great ice cream, great price. Had a hard time deciding between all the flavors. Tons of cute Hello Kitty Merch as well. Will be going back when I visit Augusta.

I used to love to go to this place as a kid! It still looks exactly the same way it did in the 80s. Pac Man video game and all:-) There is pink all over the place and it has little pink iron tables with heart shaped chairs. The ice cream(esp. the cookie dough) is great and the waffle cones are very good! I would give this place more stars, but the last couple of times that I went there, the older guy(I think he was the owner) who was running the shop was not pleasant ATALL! How can you not be happy working at an ice cream parlor?
