I’ve been a patron of A Touch of Italy my entire life, and I remember the days of old when it was 1⁄3 of the size it is now. The pizza is delicious, particularly the specialty slices. I recommend the chicken salad and chicken bacon ranch slices. As for their sit down dinners, the bread is delicious and warm, the food is delicious, and the service is very friendly.

My family has been enjoying«TOI» since the day they opened. It is our«go to» for a quick slice or a sit down dinner with friends. We even use them to cater parties at home. The food is always excellent with a great menu. It’s a family run business and they treat their customers like family. Mangia!

Have been here a few times and every time it doesn’t disappoint! I recommend any pasta dish they have. Their zucchini sticks are amazing; garlic knots are great and their drink prices are reasonable. They do not deliver but its worth the drive to pick up a pie. No matter what pizza you get its amazing! Sicilian pies are highly recommended with either sausage or meatball.

I was introduxed to this place by my kids. They have really good pizza, pinwheels and salads. Close to home, friendly people. If you are in or near Baldwim, I highly recommend this place.

The Best tasting antipasto salad I have ever had! The pizza is very good and I usually get one of their fresh baked pepperoni pinwheels. Sometimes when it’s busy the staff seems kind of not to friendly but it could just be me. But the food is very good.

I don’t care how good your food is, when there is a line of people waiting to pay, get off the damn phone!!! I paid for my food, no goodnight, no thank you, u just lost a customer, I’ll be taking my business to Bonbinos, your service and lack of manners are terrible. Your place should be embarrassed.

Touch of Italy? Ha! More like«Touch of Grease.» Grease is the word at this overpriced, highly inconsistent pizza joint with delusions of thinking its a full service restaurant. How difficult is it to make consistent pies and heat them to the proper temperature? Well if Touch of Italy is any indication is darn near impossible. With so many terrific pizza parlors in the area(especially Parmagianni in RVC and Lia’s in Oceanside), there’s no reason to patronize this place.

All I can say is when you get a pizza pie fresh out the oven, it’s the bomb! The grilled chicken salad is so delicious, mmmmmm, so good especially with the little piece of Italian bread they give you on the side. Only problem is they DONOTDELIVER, yikes! Also, try the chicken caesar slice if you are torn between a salad and pizza. It will meet you right in the middle, deliiiiightful.

The pizza was good but what I didn’t like was how unorganized they were with the orders I actually called and placed an order and came at the allotted time given now I wasn’t worried that it wasn’t ready when I got there cause things like that just happen but what I didn’t like was ppl walking in and ordering pizza pies after me and getting there’s before me. It took another 15mins for the cashier to stop gossiping with her daughter to finally ask me if I’m waiting for something. In the end the pizza was good so despite that first experience I just might think about giving them another shot, especially since it’s so close to my house. Hopefully it was a one time thing.

The service at this pizzeria is very friendly. The baked ravioli is delicious! Next time, I’m going to try one of the salads!

Fortunate to live right around the corner from a pizzeria. I love the variety and options of pizza that they offer. My fav being a Chicken Bacon Ranch Slice or a Caesar Slice. Sometimes I still get stumped at the prices, being a girl of the 90s when you could get 2 slices and a drink for $ 2.50 or less, from your local pizzeria. The place is cute and family oriented. One side your typical booth area. And the other, a sit down restaurant. The only thing I’ve had a problem with is the consistency. Sometimes it’s fresh and delicious. Others its a little stale and chewy. The down fall of making so many different slices ahead of time. It sits out if it’s not quickly sold. I also don’t like that they don’t deliver, for nights in and craving a pie for the fam. But hey I guess the old school pizza boy on his bike in less then 30mins, don’t really exists anymore lol. All in all great place.

After stopping in recently for some really good pizza I decided to drag the wife back with me to try the attached restaurant and it was so-so. My wife ordered grilled shrimp parmigiana, Lasagna for me. Wife’s dish arrived with only four shrimp? This is an Entrée not an appetizer! I came close to complaining to our server. In hindsight I should have. The lasagna in front of me was mediocre at best, wife tasted it and thought the meat was rotten, but I didn’t taste that. It was lacking flavor though and as for the Shrimps, wife reported they were good but not great. We split a slice of cheesecake for dessert and although the slice was good, it was over decorated with raspberry coulees & chocolate sauce both greasy yucky sauces. Most of the other reviews are love it love it love it or hate it hate it hate it. Having now tried both pizza side and the sit down side TOI gets three stars.

Sorry but this place is nothing special. I got the Caesar salad slice, which everyone raves about. Just like it sounds-chicken Caesar salad atop a pizza. There was a lot of chicken, but the flavor was just average.

I now go out of my own neighborhood(RVC) for pizza & italian because my kids told me about this place. You can not go wrong with the food here — everything is always fresh & delicious. My favorites include the clams oreganata, the caesar salad with chicken, the chicken marsala and all the pasta dishes too. Consistently good. The only drawback here is that they do not deliver.(Maybe because they’re so good, they don’t HAVE to!)

This is a cozy yet chic little pizza eatery for the neighborhood. My manager treated me to a Chicken Caesar slice for dinner and it was delicious! Not dry but very tasty. Salad on pizza dough is quite a combination! The dressing is delicious! I enjoyed the dining area very much. Very modern, very clean and chic!

A Touch of Italy I lived in the area until about seven or eight years ago. While there, A Touch of Italy was the«go to place.» I now live several towns away and still come back several times a month for dinner. A Touch of Italy is a two generation family-owned pizzeria /Italian restaurant. There is a very interesting plaque on the wall containing an article from a local newspaper. It tells the story of an immigrant who comes to America for a better way of life and goes to work in a restaurant. After working for a couple of years as a busboy, he takes stock of himself, and decides that if he and his family are to thrive in America working for someone else is not the answer. He spends the next couple of years quietly paying attention to the business end of the restaurant he is working in while at the same time learning how to cook. As fortune would have it the restaurant he works for goes up for sale and as we say, «the rest is history.» A Touch of Italy — Great food at a great price from great people.

No frills pizza/diner with good food and fair prices. Service is always fast and friendly, and the food is good and plentiful. I often get the tuna salad which is delicious. Parking is easy.

Although I have not eaten here in a while, the place is exactly as I remembered — warm, inviting, and smelling delicious. The waitress was extremely nice and helped me with my order as if she were preparing it for herself and her family. Now, to the food! My fettucini was cooked perfectly with that delectable al dente chewiness. The pink sauce was creamy but still allowed all of the tomato goodness to shine through. I ordered sausage and not only was it thoroughly cooked, but it almost tasted like it was seared on a flame and had a snap to the bite. I asked for a meatball just to try and that will be my next dish as the flavor was amazing. If the pizza is as good as my memory serves me then you will be back for a pie or two. This place is a gem and if you love warm ambiance, fresh home cooked meals with generous portions, friendly and attentive service and very reasonable prices then you owe it to yourself and your family to stop in and have a meal here. You will become a fan and a regular guest immediately. Enjoy!
