A clevis pin fell off of my older Sears riding mower, resulting in a badly-bent link rod. After«chatting» fruitlessly on the Sears site(no help even though I referred them to manual diagrams), I dropped by R & R to see if they knew anyone local who could straighten it. Lori took it in the back and handed it to Jason. About one minute later he came out with THEEXACTPART– a used one they happened to have. They gave it to me with a smile, free of charge, turning what looked like an expensive nightmare into a piece of cake. I bought another clevis pin at Ace. Total cost of repair: 55 cents. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

I really wanted to like R&R Rentals but their service for their Honda Lawnmowers is horrendous. I took my lawn mower in their last Fall to have it serviced and they told me it also needed a new carburetor. No worries… almost $ 200 later for a $ 400 mower I was back in business(for a day). I was able to use it for one mowing on a small yard and put it away for the Winter in storage. Broke it out on the warm day of the year and guess what… no start. I siphoned out the old gas, put in new gas. Not only that but when I look in the blades to make sure nothing was stuck I noticed they didn’t sharpen the blades. Good grief… how did I miss that when I picked it up? Called them up and told them the situation and they said they were happy to look at it… in 3 weeks. I would have thought they would be able to diagnose a job that they supposedly did and charged for a Little quicker than that. Definitely take your business elsewhere if you want to get your mower back before the end of Summer.
