This place started out great! Last 2 – 3 times though the food has been horrible. Stale chips, sour cream past its due date, etc. Won’t go back. There are other places to spend my money and get a good meal.

Fabulous chile rellenos and great service. I’ve had Mexican food all over the world, and this is the best.

Average. Not bad, not great, definitely not authentic. Still, it may be the best in this area. Margarita made with mix. Yes, did get the chimichanga and thought it was decent. Chips served warm, salsa ok.

Our favorite place to go for family dinners. This one or the NB one are both fantastic. Food is quick and very good.

I tried lunch here, and had the pleasure of enjoying the quesadilla Rellenas. The restaurant has very good food and has a great atmosphere. The server was polite and gave great service. I will be back, and I recommend it to others.

We noticed this place after exiting off of 35 when headed to my mom’s house, and ended up eating here after she recommended it. She’s been multiple times and didn’t have anything bad to say about it. Our experience was great. There were four of us, and we got seated promptly on a Sunday night at dinner time. We went through the fresh chips and salsa quite quickly and were offered more once we ran out. My brother ad I ordered margaritas on the rocks, which were ok but a little weak. I had the Hawaiian Quesadilla, and it was good. The presentation was simple, but the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were good. Was it the best Mexican I’ve ever had? No, but I also live in Atlanta where we’re fortunate to have many excellent Mexican places to choose from. My only regret after reading a couple other reviews is that I didn’t go for the chicken chimichanga, my all time favorite Mexican dish. I suspect enough people haven’t reviewed this place, and if they did, you’d see a higher average on this restaurant. The customer service was good, the location is convenient, the food is on track, and I can’t see any glaring issues with this place.

I’ve been in twice and I live in the area. I love tamales and when I tried a combo lunch it was the worst I’ve ever had. Mushy with no flavor. I would give them another try if a friend wanted go. Typical frozen chain food was my impression. The margarita’s are ok~big batch made on tap, weak and over priced for what you’re getting. In the future I’ll stick with a beer, that way you know what you’re getting. I sat at the bar and had a view into the kitchen/dish washing area and it was a dirty mess with a greasy wet nasty floor. Staff appeared to be comprised entirely of ethnic men who are friendly.

One of the best small town Mexican restaurants. Food comes out fast and hot. Always friendly and clean. I guarantee you won’t find a better chicken chimi’s. The wife and I drive over from Cambridge at least once a week!

We ate here last night and our service was excellent… But then came the food. My husbands combo tasted worse than a frozen meal, my fajita’s were ok but then I discovered a plastic baggy cooked in with my meat. The tacos that my son ordered were by far the best thing any of us had, and that’s not saying much. Will never go here for dinner again but maybe for a margarita and chips!

A friend and I had lunch at Don Julio’s on 2⁄12. We each had the Taco Fajita Salad(1 beef and 1 chicken). They were delicious and full of flavor. This was my 3rd time dining at Don Julio’s and each time the food and service were great.
