I love Mike!!! He is amazing! He loves his job:). My fiancé and I stopped by in our way to the cape may-Lewes ferry… we each ordered his homemade falafel(he is very proud – rightly so). He used to run a restaurant in Brooklyn and moved to south jersey years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed our falafel on pita and extra crispy fries :). They were the perfect treat for our ferry ride… since I didn’t realize that mike serves coffee – I stupidly walked across the street to a coffee shop where my fiancé had his hand burned… we returned to mike and he offered hand cream to relieve the burn and told us to check in again later. On our ferry return my fiancé couldn’t stop talking about returning to mikes(we called since he closes at 9pm and we were nearing the hour – his wife was kind enough to answer the phone and start the order so it would be ready for pickup). We ordered his tuna wrap with fries(extra crispy). When we arrived, we were met with warm smiles and tasty fresh food! Mike is the man – and his food is great!

Very good food! We all enjoyed our meals and the owner was quick with making them. Service was great. We are just traveling through town and are glad we stopped here for lunch.

If u want a fresh, made to order meal, this is the place. I go in and ask Mike the owner, to make me whatever. Everything is that good. Sherry, his wife, is very welcoming and helpful. Favorite things on the menu are: –grilled chicken wrap –any grilled fish meal –homemade falafel –hummus and pita –prime rib –Mediterranean salad(like a Greek salad)

Love these guys. Great people. All great food for a very good price. Don’t let the location fool you. All of the best food joints in the world are the ones sitting right by the road. Eat up!

Great food with a good menu. Everything is made from scratch. Also the owner also owns a bakery that produces the bread for other restaurants in the area! So you know your getting some good bread since your getting it at the source. Good for lunch and dinner. Love their steaks and burgers and fries are always amazing. Definitely would recommend.

I ordered seafood chowder for lunch. It was boiling hot(like a volcano) and too hot to eat. A few tablespoons I did manage to swallow almost scolded my throat and the chowder had a sour taste. Seafood pieces were chewy and overcooked. I did not finish this delicacy. My friends soup was also scalding hot and not finished. If soups and stews are boiling HOT, watch out ! In fairness, the grilled cheese was ordinary(no choice of cheese or bread) and the fries were good. We both thought the service could have been better. If you are feeling adventurous, eat here.

This place makes all of its own breads as well as home made deserts. Food is delicious and plentiful. It is an out parcel of a shopping center, not much to look at, but a great place for dinner when dinner must be good and you don’t want to(or can’t) do it yourself. In the summer months they have a live lobster tank. Salads and other sides are all scratch made. You gotta get there, it is good food prepared good people.
