Awful! This place is under new management as of June 7th away from the previous company that owns Tsunami and Yokoso so that might explain why things are soo bad here and why the sushi dishes are missing. From the start, I noticed that there were like only like 5 items in the whole entire menu to choose from with two cauasian employees running the place so you know it’s going to be a uh oh. But I went for it anyway. I ordered the Hibachi Steak bowl at $ 8.99. It took some time for my food to get cooked probably because there was only one cook and the other person was taking the orders. When it was ready, I noticed that the steak I ordred rare was overcooked and dry on top of soy sauce looking rice with like two half mushrooms but NOSAUCE. The portion was very small in a little bowl for like $ 9. What a ripoff!!! And it was digusting!

Ninja Express isn’t a bad restaurant by a long-shot. My friends seemed to both enjoy their food; the $ 3.99 teriyaki bowl was a good deal. I just found the sushi to be rather overpriced for such a small selection – a high-end sushi/hibachi place in town offers sushi for the same price or less. White sauce, which is usually standard and included, is $.39 for a small container. The waitress also hardly ever came by, and kept my friend’s card for quite a while because the waitress was on the phone. Overall, give it a shot, but don’t expect to be wowed.
