Friendly’s

We ate here recently for breakfast and the service was ok, waitress was friendly and they have those new table side devices to order food, play games and pay your bill. The down fall is they charge for the table side app games which is absolutely ridiculous. Also, the food was horrible. It was cold, bland and not appealing at all. We couldn’t even finish the food it was just gross. We only ate here because all the other fine breakfast joints in town were packed due to school vacation week. I do not recommend eating here.

The only reason I even stopped was because they had a free WiFi sign and I had a Fantasy Football Draft. It was only me, but it still took 15 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge me, let alone seat me. First mistake: Labor Day Weekend. Second mistake: ordering anything but the water. I got the appetizer sampler-​with sliders, loaded waffle fries, and chicken quesadillas. The sliders were way over cooked. The loaded waffle fries had about 2 cups of that orange cheese goop slapped on three of them with three bacon bits on that. The rest were dry and flavorless. The most disappointing part was the chicken quesadillas. These came out as cheese quesadillas. … but were so flat and lacking stuffing I at first thought I just got tortillas. All in all… I would avoid this place like the plague if I were you.

First of all, you expect cheap food and ice cream… that’s what Friendly’s is known for. Well not so much anymore I guess. This Friendly’s is awful. The food is gross and greasier than most Friendly’s I’ve been too (not sure why or how) but it is. There are a few helpful wait staff, but most are rude, rushed or standing around doing nothing. (the rushed I’m assuming doing all the work for those standing around)
And the wait! Oh my gosh, we waited a least 20 minutes from drinks to ordering and then (no exaggeration) another 25 minutes for food to come out. Waiting for ice cream was another 15 minutes… Our bill for 3 of us without appetizers was $ 48.92 for 2 burgers and a kids meal with ice cream included in the price. Really?
I didn’t expect to be in there for over 2 hours for burgers and ice cream.
If your kids can’t live without the experience then go ahead, but otherwise skip it and go to another place… I’m pretty sure they’ll have ice cream too or better desserts for the same prices or less.
