Hello fellow Unilocalers!
As promised, I went back to the Original Cigar & Bar last week and I’m here with an update. This experience was far and away the best I’ve experienced here and I will definitely be back to enjoy some quality hookah.
My experience was awesome this time as I experienced some great service all around. I actually had a chance to talk with the owner, Brian, a real down-​to-​earth guy.
All in all, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a great smoke.

Just wanted to add a point of reference to the reviews. The Original Cigar and Bar is NEW to the MWV as of October 2015.
The owner, Brian, took the place over in October and immediately remodeled the entire place. New bar with high end liquor, craft beers on tap, and wine/​port by the glass or bottle. All new leather furniture, flat screen TV’s, and a state of the art smoke eating system the removes the cigar smoke while returning fresh air into the room from outside. Very cool. The place belongs in one of those cigar magazines!
Do yourself a favor and check it out when you are in the area.

Friendly, great selection. Nice lounge with comfortable chairs to enjoy a smoke and a drink. Easy to find and park. Located a bit away from the busy main strip. Will make it a necessary stop on future visits.

Not only did they have such a large selection of cigars with great prices, they were also great people. I was able to find what I wanted, prices comparable to online sellers and learn a thing or two. The owner was nice enough to give my 6yr old daughter a cigar box which she has deemed «was the best day ever» works out great for all her dolls. Everyone in the shop was helpful and polite.

The owner of this establishment f-​bombed my son for picking up a display item while we were browsing the cigar case. We were so taken aback we left immediately and determined that we would never spend another dime in that establishment. In retrospect, I wish I had the presence of mind at that moment to tell the owner that he was a world class jerk. Awesome customer service skills!

I frequent this establishment when I am in the valley, the prices are really good compared to my local shop and the staff is always way more than accommodating. One time I arrived as they were closing yet he unlocked the door and let me get what I needed. Service like that ensures I’ll frequent this establishment.

We traveled a while to get here. A side note the shops in town are awesome. It’s an unorganized Née Hampshire smoke shop. The cigar prices are a steal especially if your from Massachusetts or Rhode Island. The girl working there that day was quick, very friendly and knowledgable about the goods she was selling. This place has a warm cozy cabin feel with great woodwork and a few TV’s to keep your attention. Good selection of wine and beers too. After having a cigar a few glasses if port I loaded up with cigars for the trip home.

GREAT place. Tons of cigars and cozy seats. It certainly was a mess however the mess lent itself to a grandpas basement feel. They serve beer and port and possibly wine, but no other liquor which is disappointing if you like a scotch or three with a cigar.

Every once in a while you’re on an adventure and you encounter a place your wish was closer to home. This is my first time here and I will definitely be back.
Jonathan, the owner, is a great guy. He’s willing to hang out until you find something you really like.
There is an outdoor patio if you want to puff your cigar and smell the mountain air. If you want your halo of smoke to rest around you, sit inside and hang out. There’s good music, good beer, and good people. I really like this place.

a DUMP! walk in to a dark MESSY place, desk overflowing to your left. Bar, WHAT bar, it was full of?? stuff!!! I do not see the attraction!

My hubby looks forward to stopping here every year several times on our vacation. Jon is very friendly and will help you make your selection. We enjoy sitting outside on the patio and having a beer while my husband enjoys his cigar.

This place is so hospitable. Its like being at home in your own living room. Great atmosphere, cigars and drinks. We stuck around all afternoon and just relaxed. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place to have beer and smoke cigars if that is your thing.
I saw people playing cards and talking with friends. The owner Jonathan is very helpful if you are trying to decide on a cigar, tobacco type etc.
Fun for a low key night, or something to do before dinner ;)
