White Mountain Winery

We were looking for something fun to do before checking into our hotel in the area and found the Winery to be a perfect distraction. We bellied up to the small shop bar and received our complimentary wine samples, then happily prepared to shell out more to taste nearly everything on the menu.
Typically fans of a nice smoky cab, we really enjoyed the Bella Bianco (a fascinating spicy/​peppery white) and the Rossa Grande (a red blend, also peppery). The maple syrup ice wine was interesting and fun, though very, very sweet.
We ended up buying several (moderately priced) bottles, which made our tastings free – a nice, though not wholly unexpected, surprise. My only complaint would be that several of the wines were not available to taste, and a few were sold out. But we still managed to get a nice, warm buzz on.

Friendly and great wine! Love Doc and Lucy! I recommend doing the tastings of all wines.

Love this place! Awesome ownership! When you are greeted by two adorable rescues and you get to sample the wine you absolutely have to support the local business! The wine is smooth and some very different flavors make great conversation and perfect additions to any wine collection — of course if you are like me the wine never really gets «collected»… Because you drink it and share it with friends !

Incredibly surprised at how much we loved this little winery and the products they have!
This past weekend we stopped in at this winery while spending the weekend in North Conway. We weren’t expecting to find much when we walked in, but the moment we walked in the door and we’re greeted by the polite staff (and dogs) we knew we were dead wrong.
We ended up trying a few different types of wine (1^st was free and a dollar a tasting after). I tried the strawberry melon was well as the apricot peach which were both incredible. We ended up buying a bottle of strawberry melon for the road with the plan to come back in the future and stock up.
In the end, we loved this little shop and we would encourage all visitors to stop in if in the area!

It’s impossible to NOT give this place five stars. We visit North Conway about twice a year and the White Mountain Winery is always on our «must visit» list. Ali, her husband, and mom & dad are all fantastic! We love that their entire family is not only involved in the business, but they’re all SO incredibly knowledgable. (AND– Doc & Lucy, their adorable & friendly dogs are not to be forgotten!)
Ali and her mom are always a pleasure to chat with. They all really know their products inside and out. We always sample at least a few new wines every single time we visit and they’re always delicious. It’s so difficult to just choose a couple to purchase!
Definitely visit this gem! You will not be disappointed :)

My husband and I love visiting local wineries when we vacation, and this one did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, their mascot is a cute and friendly dog, and they offer complimentary tastings.
We looked at their wine selection and told them a few we’d like to try, and then they gave us a few more to try based on what we’d picked. We walked away having bought four delicious local wines.

Not like it was last year the old owners custom blended and helped you make your own the new owners have a limited knowledge and make what they like not going back

Nestled in the little shops of North Conway is the White Mountain Winery. We stumbled on this place the first weekend they had opened and had the opportunity to meet one of the owners, Ali, and the ‘mascot’, Doc. Both were great. Ali knows her stuff and was a delight. What started as a quick peak ended up with us there for an hour or so, just swapping stories, tasting wine, and making friends. They also do special orders with custom labels for big orders. We used them for our wedding and my wife was very happy with the results.

Best little family run winery ever! Big selection beautiful tasting room and friendly knowledgeable family. Some of the best wine I’ve ever had. A little of the main street in North Conway tucked down a little pathway hidden in the heart of North Conway! You must check it out you got nothing to lose with some free samples! I know I’ll be back to get lots more wine!

This is a great spot just a little bit off the beaten path. Shoot over for a fun half hour of wine tasting. Lots of good pics, great prices, fun atmosphere. The wine here is really good. A lot of unique varieties. We would highly recommend this location. Don’t bring the kids :)

My fiancé and I had a great time here with Ali and Doc! This is a brand new business so, of course, it was a little quiet. There are a TON of wines to sample, as the owners are still trying to get an idea of what their customers like and what maybe doesn’t sell as well.
They get their grapes from many different regions all over the world and make the wine right here in North Conway. Ali had some great recommendations and was SO friendly and welcoming.
They sell bottles by the case and even do cases of small bottles, perfect for party favors.
Stop in for a free tasting and pick up a bottle or two to enjoy in your B&B. After a long day of skiing/​snowboarding, you’ll be glad you did!
