I think they have new owners… It was 99% all new staff, there were about 5 people waiting for Togo orders saying they were waiting over an hour and a half. Ended up having to grab someone to seat is and then waited a half hour without anyone coming over before we got up and left. The restaurant was 25% full so they weren’t busy. We’ve had horrible experiences here before so we only come once in a very blue moon to give them another chance. I think this is finally sealing our beliefs that it will never be a good option to grab dinner or drinks.

Placed a takeout order at 6:40. Was told 7/7:05 pickup. Arrived and was told half our order was given away to another takeout or delivery order and that it would be 20 minutes to have the food re-made. Waited until 7:30 for food to be ready. Was charged full price and when I said that I should not have to pay $ 84 for their mistake, was basically told«too bad» by a woman who I’m pretty sure owns the place. A simple gesture of good customer service would have made the wait bearable and told me that my business mattered. A drink at the bar or a small discount on the order, perhaps? We’ve spent lots of money here but won’t spend another dime.

There has been another change to this restaurant. New owner and she seems to have the craziest business ideas. She also has no respect for anyone. I went back a few days ago, hoping to see Kitty and Chat, but found out that they are not running the place anymore. The experience that I have gotten there has gone downhill in service and quality compared to my last experience. Do yourself a favor and stop coming, there is a new owner whom is old, rude and grumpy. She even tried to force me to pay for something that i did not even order!

Sushi is not bad but a little over priced. The service is mediocre at best and is usually slow to almost none at all because of being short staffed. It used to be a great place to go but because of increased prices and poor service, I hardly ever go anymore. Good luck!

Wasabi is a UMass Dartmouth hangout, and it shows. I went on a Friday night with a group of friends and we were surrounded by large groups of college kids. This isn’t a complaint, per say, but a comment about the atmosphere. Wasabi is like most Chinese food places– if you order a drink off the menu it will be strong, delicious, and worth the money. But if you order anything else, prepare to confuse your waiter. I had a Mai Tai, which was amazing. One of my friends ordered a cranberry and vodka and the waiter brought her a glass of cranberry juice with no alcohol. She had to order a separate shot of vodka. Later in the evening they ran out of Scorpion Bowl glasses, also, so we couldn’t order any of those. In general, our waiter seemed to be a little confused and overwhelmed. He would forget to bring things for long periods of time. Sometimes he wouldn’t bring items at all and we had to reorder things(for example a couple of people ordered dessert and we had to tell him twice). Food wise, I got the chicken with garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was AMAZING. But they probably should have called it veggies with garlic sauce as there was almost no chicken in my plate, but plenty of broccoli. Great taste, but really lacking in the actual food. I can’t hate on Wasabi too much, because if you go into it with the proper expectations you won’t be disappointed. It’s a college hangout with good drinks and ok food. Just make sure to order off the menu exactly to avoid any confusion with the wait staff.
