Awful experience there today! The selection was minimal, I didn’t realize it wasn’t a full store, i was there to buy knotting cord but couldn’t find any anywhere. Searched for the trim section that I could not for the life of me find, and there was no one around to ask. The nail in the coffin? The cashier was so rude and bitter to the customers ahead of me! They had questions regarding coupons and the cashier was almost angry with them, huffing and puffing! Then she made a mistake with their change and needed to reopen the register, which could only be done if another customer paid in cash. Well I always pay with debit and everyone in line behind me were doing the same… well she then got huffy with me! Never going back to this location! Swansea store for me!

I wandered in here to purchase a frog clasp. If you don’t know what that is, I did the honor of looking it up for you here: Anyways, I headed to Jo-Ann’s because that’s the type of thing they should have. They should have lots of them. Frog clasps should be coming out of their ears!!! When I got there, First thing I noticed was the lighting. I think I would have to shoot someone if I had to work in that light, with a bunch of little old ladies. Nonetheless, I wandered around the store looking for my frog clasps, until I gave up and asked a very nice employee. I follow her to the aisle that I JUSTLOOKEDIN, and lo and behold! There they are-all three of them. One in black, on in white and one in silver. Three? There were small ones, but I was hoping for something slightly more fancy. That’s ok. I grab the black one and realize that I forgot to print out the 50% off coupon. Oops. I asked and they told me that yes, they were able to scan the coupon right off my phone. So the three stars is the environment and the lack of stock. Oh, and throw the parking lot in there to boot. It’s a really confusing parking lot.

Come on, Jo-Ann, get it together. The Dartmouth location is terrible. They aren’t a full store so the have a very limited selection in all departments from floral to fabric to notions. The had a 2 foot section of holiday ribbon when most other locations have several aisles full. It’s always messy, the lighting is way too yellow and the fixtures/shelving have seen better days. Even the employees seem a little depressed here. Not even worth the stop, I’ll stick to the Raynham Jo-Ann from now on.

Service is pretty slow there… I feel bad just saying this but it’s true! The staff are friendly and they don’t really have a great variety of fabric though…
