Doctor RV

Telephoned for RV service. Got answering machine. Never returned phone calls.

We had a problem with our fifth wheel which I diagnosed as our charger/​inverter going out; an expensive piece of equipment. This morning I called Dr. RV expecting to leave a message about our plight but he picked up and, upon my explaining the situation he came on over (day after TG; he’d planned to stay home). He did some probing and took some panels apart and came to pretty much the same conclusion I had. And he proposed a solution which could save us a lot of money. Just as he was about to finish the initial part of that he caught an anomaly; something that didn’t fit the pattern. More probing and he discovered the factory had failed to fasten a wire down upstream from the charger/​inverter. He locked that in place and put things back as they had been, and lo and behold we have a working system.
His alertness saved us several hundred dollars and a compromised electrical system. And his honesty; he stood to make a lot more if he hadn’t noticed that. I would definitely call him if I need RV work in this area.
Oh, and he seems to be a nice guy; pleasant.
