People be trippin. This is a place you stop for coffee and snacks on the way to UVA or in my case, to pick up fudge and pie when going to see friends in Charlottesville or any of the counties that surround it. It’s got neat local books and quirky little gifts and the last time I bought a sandwich there it was huge with lots of meat. It’s one of those places along 29N that’s a must or an «always stop» for travelers like myself.

This place has a long history and great location at the side of Route 29. Need gas? Snacks? Souvenirs? A rest stop? The Crossroads Store has all that and more. They have tons of snacks, fresh fudge, and a space to order food in the back of the store. They have plenty of Virginia-themed souvenirs. Their gas is pricey compared to other nearby stations. I’ve stopped in here for decades, as did my family before me. Like I said, it’s been around for a long time. They know what they’re doing.

Price Gaugers! In need of ice melt after snowmegedin. They had like 3lb bags for $ 11. To compare 40lb bags at Lowes for $ 4.99. Done never going back!

I enjoy stopping here on my way back home, This business started as just a small gas station. The previous owner expanded the gas station to include a store. This place reminds me of New Market or a city with history. Walton’s Mountain is just down the road. You can have a meal in the small diner. It is a cute hole in the wall. It isn’t the Ritz but you will get kind conversation and directions if you need them. The trinkets are overpriced. There are snacks similar to what you’d find at 7 – 11. There is a pizza place around the corner. There are even doctor’s offices. If your car catches fire, the North Garden Fire Co is within view of the store… just yell.

Desert, baked goods & fudge are all homemade awesomeness… The breakfast is ok., Everything else from chicken to sandwiches are terrible… Sandwiches are a total rip off… 1 slice meat, 1 slice cheese… $ 7& up with no sides
