I really enjoyed their food(as did the three others) but I have to warn anyone who gets the basil noodles — they are super delicious and incredibly spicy. I love spicy food. Sriracha is my homeboy. This was so spicy, but so tasty that I put myself through misery. Summer rolls were so good, as was the asian pork and general cruz. We’ll definitely be back.

Went to Giddy’s Good Fortune for picnic takeout. I ordered #81 Chopped Salad w/Lime and Mint with tofu balls($ 11). What I got — and this was only discovered when we opened the bag — was #80 Imperial Noodle Salad tofu balls «Lettuce, rice noodles, carrots, bean sprouts, cucumbers, basil, cilantro, and toasted shallots topped with a crispy eggroll & your choice of protein, served with citrus-mint dipping sauce and spicy peanut dressing» Not only was this the wrong order, there was no basil and no toasted shallots — there was raw red onion. I don’t eat cucumbers or raw onions. Wrote to proprietor at restaurant address, letter was returned to me unopened. Meh is right.

Service(1): 1 points/stars Atmosphere(1): .8 points/stars Food(3): 1.8 points/stars My overall rating(5): 3.6 points/stars Giddy’s is a small restaurant located right next to Dr. Ho’s. Most dishes are about $ 11, so it’s pretty reasonable price wise. Everything I’ve tried has been pretty good, and nothing has been bad. Most of the dishes I’ve had tasted really fresh and came out quickly. I’ve had the red curry(3 stars), the general cruz chicken(4 stars), the basil noddles(2 stars), pad thai(3 stars), and the dumplings(5 stars). The dishes are similar to most chain Chinese/Thai restaurants, but the dumplings are really delicious. I get the dumplings the most, and the reason I’ve gone there so often is because it’s right by my house. The service has always been friendly and helpful enough. It’s nothing that special, but it’s has a unique space and if you’re in the mood for reasonably priced, tasty Southeast Asian style food, it’s a good option.

Visited on our way through 7÷24÷2015. Had tried Dr. Ho’s pizza and that was great, so we were looking forward to a stop at Giddy’s. We found fresh flavorful Asian food that really hits the spot. General Cruz chicken: excellent. Pad Thai with shrimp: Yes please. Pork dumplings to start: a meal in and of itself, and awesome. Everything was fresh, served steaming, and in large portions. We will make this a regular spot, and look forward to our next visit.

Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was very accommodating. I am a vegetarian, so they converted a chicken dish into a tofu dish for me an it was unreal! The portions are very generous as well. The staff accidentally messed up one of our orders, so they gave it to us for free, and we had an extra meal for the next day. Definitely coming back, we loved it!

Solid Asian fusion. So happy that Giddy’s moved in to North Garden — I’ve never had good Chinese food close to home! Awesome. The Atmosphere: standard. A few tables and a few booths; I believe this place is mostly run as a take-out place. The Service: Friendly staff. It’s self-serve drinks and utensils. They were quick and courteous taking our order, and brought it out 8 minutes later. 5 stars. The Food: Yum. Big portions. My mouth is watering thinking about it. We got the General Cruz Chicken– chicken, broccoli, carrots, tossed in a sweet-spicy sauce; 4 stars. My favorite was the Asian Style Roasted Pork, with was perfectly seasoned and covered in sauce over top a bed of veggies. I absolutely understand why this is Giddy’s signature dish; 5 stars. Very happy with Giddy’s. We’ll be back many times, I’m sure!
