BEST and ONLY (?) place to get donuts in the seacoast. I repeat, BEST and ONLY! Haven’t been for breakfast but it’s on the list.

Great place for breakfast. The caramel Apple French toast was the bomb! The cinnamon raisin homemade bread was so good we bought a loaf to bring home. However slight, the only drawback was slow service. Give yourself plenty of time to eat.

I have been coming to Hampton beach for most of my life, until I arrived at the copper lantern have I received such bad service and food. I am a chef and could lead the kitchen how to prepare prime rib, What my wife and I had was so tough I could use the rib they served us to repair for leather on the sole of my shoe,
When told the wait staff that I meat was tough we were told that the way we cook it «hence» they need someone to show them how to cook prime rib, and we were told that’s the way, we have done it for years, and there was no compromise they would not take it off the check, we offered to pay for the soup we had eaten, We could not trust the kitchen we did not want anything else just to get out an run has fast has we can, they need to know the Meaning of customer service, I will tell more people what you order no matter how it comes out it’s take it or leave it your paying for it,
What an ego this owner had not to show one bit of respect for us I was disgusted. I mean any one who reads this and have not gone yet, buyer beware, and for those who have been and like it good for you, but if the cook makes a Mistake you own it, and spin the wheel you’ll be stuck with it, very Bad

$ 7.99 Early bird breakfast special is awesome! I especially love their homemade breads. Service is friendly and very fast. The hand cut doughnuts are to die for. I’ve tried them all and the pumpkin glaze is the best doughnut I’ve had in years (maybe ever?).

What a great breakfast! Pleasant staff and Linda the owner sent me home with THE BEST seriously the best doughnuts I have ever had!

We went here on a Saturday night and got seated right away. No one came to our table for over 10 minutes, the waitresses were walking around tending to other customers and didn’t even acknowledge us! So we got up and walked out!

Just had an enjoyable lobster casserole dinner and my husband had the prime rib. Both dinners were absolutely delicious. We topped it off with a brownie ice cream dessert. Yummy!

My favorite breakfast place in Hampton! Service is great, food is more than you would expect for a small diner and the homemade treats are incredible! The atmosphere is really cozy and romantic. Definitely worth the wait on a Sunday morning.

Went for breakfast – food was excellent. Service was polite and friendly, but slow as hell. I shaved this morning but look like an Hasidic Jew by the time we paid the check. Front of the house does NOT have their s*** together.

Incredible food great service the waitstaff makes you feel write at home. Homemade baked goods. Best donuts in the area prices are great. our favorite place for breakfast, dinner or lunch.

They had a great breakfast selection, and everyone in my family enjoyed their meal. They had a wide arrangement of freshly baked breads and muffins which were great! I would definitely recommend this place.

When we first tried this place, we mentioned to the waitress that we were looking for a New Favorite Breakfast place. She told us we had found it… and she was right!
The menu includes a page of healthy breakfast options — sadly they always seem to have an amazing sounding special featuring their in-​house baked bread that I HAVE to try instead. And also, a warmed up apple cider donut to start. The homefries are better than average, the ratio of ingredients to eggs in the omelets is perfect, and if you like the toast, you can buy a loaf to take home!
The only thing I don’t like is that the mimosas (or pointsettas, which the very helpful wait staff introduced me to) have ice in them. Tiny little thing, but apparently I have strong feelings about watering down champagne.

This place I have passed a million times as we live pretty close. We took the two kids with us looking for a change for breakfast. We were seated immediately in a cozy little restaurant. The kids were immediately taken with the baked goods on display as we walked through the door. The breakfast menu was pretty standard but there was a great healthy options menu which I ordered from. I got the oatmeal and fresh fruit cup which was very fresh! We shared a couple cider donuts which were good but a tad stale. Everyone was happy with their order and the service was outstanding. We will be back for sure.

great expirence at the Copper Lantern, found totally by accident. wife and shared a freshly baked still warm blueberry muffin which was delicious. I had a corned beef hash and cheese omelet, with a homemade english muffin and enjoyed it immensely. wife is on health kick so she had oatmeal with generous sides of cranberrys, brown suger and walnuts.
ultra friendly service and my coffee cup was always full.

This place is great.
It’s a family owned local business and the staff is super friendly. Great in the winter or summer, but winter is preferable because you can sit next to the lovely fire place. Have tried a bunch of stuff here and it’s all good.
Their dinner rolls are the best and the clam chowder is to die for.

Typical breakfast menu, a little on the pricy side. Very friendly service.
I have heard that they do excellent baked goods.
