My son likes the food here. They make good tacos at this location compared to other locations.

This location SUCKS. It’s owned by the same guy who owns the locations on Elkhorn in North Highlands and on Antelope Road in Antelope. The owner is greedy. He does not accept coupons that corporate emails to you. Get a buy one get one coupon? Forget it, they won’t accept it! Get a BIRTHDAY coupon? Forget it, they won’t accept it. Get a Taco Tuesdays email from corporate? Forget it, they won’t accept it! Not only that. When they DO run a special, which is rarely, the idiots at the counter will not let you substitute a bean taco or a bean burrito for the meat one that is advertised! How can anyone be this stupid? The bean taco is cheaper than the beef taco and they won’t let you have that instead??? This means that they do not care if you’re a vegetarian. If you are, then no special for you. Idiots. Absolute idiots.

My son-in-law and daughter were in town from So. Ca. They do not have any jimboys, down there. We all were very hungry, but my son-in-law, who used to live here, was really looking forward to eating there. He usually orders at least 8 to 10 tacos. We arrived at 8:40 pm, and was refused service stating only the drive-thru was open. Now the sign on the door says«9:00−9:00 pm. It does not say, „9−8:30,“ with the drive-thru open until 9:00». We asked if we could eat outside? We had not notice that they no longer had the patio furniture outside. The last time we ate there, we had eaten outside. People were still eating inside, so we figured what was the difference? Well, the VERY rude boy who wouldn’t let us eat inside, would not budge. I live in North Highlands and will NEVER eat there again as long as I live here. We explained that they should change the sign, explaining what their hours are. Again, being the rude person the boy was, we asked to speak with the manager. He got her on the phone,(the manager was his sister, how convenient), we explained the situation, but went on deaf ears. I believe the boy, and the rest of the employees were and continue to be just lazy, not wanting to clean maybe one more table. Seriously, I will not be giving my business to these LAZY people!!!

We came here, very excited to get Jimboys since we moved to Southern California and there aren’t any down there, however when we arrived at 8:43pm, they said the 9pm posted business hours were for drive thru only, and refused to serve us.

Skimpy on taco fillings compared to other locations. Maybe because I used a groupon.

I’m not a Jimboy’s fan and visiting this place reminded me why. I’m surprised there are so many Jimboy’s Tacos out there in this world, that they are successful and that I hear from several people about how great their food is. Even Taco Bell’s got more game on this fast food joint. I ordered 2 ground beef tacos(I think their signature food item?!?)…they’re so greasy, the grease that the meat sits in soaks the tortilla at the bottom. The shredded lettuce can barely be identified(it lacks crispness and color… the mystery veggie). There is this absolutely horrendously rancid odor coming from the thing, which I later determined was their overly salted cheese that they coat the outside of the tortilla with. My tummy is churning right now at the thought of what I regretfully ate this afternoon. So why did I even come? Ok, I confess, I was in a hurry to get back to work… this was the closest«fast food» joint from work and I knew the order and prep would truly be «fast» because in the past when I have come, there are barely any people… hmm, I wonder why. Do I come back? Ok, another confession: I probably will if ever pressed for time like I was today. I need to plan my lunch sessions out a little better in the future in order to avoid having to walk in here again… at least the staff was nice :)
