This bakery is under new ownership. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs. The lady who is usually there is most probably the owners wife she is very rude. I went to pick up an order and she was answering her cell phone, text message and then returning to back to making food for clients without washing her hands. When I pointed out that she should be washing her hands she very rudely smirked and avoided my comment while giving me a dirty look. Then, the lady who brought my order very rudely told me that they can’t make special orders from me any longer even though the order was placed the day before. Also, nobody wore hair nets during the food preparation process either. None of these were ever an issue with the previous owners. They were very respectful to their clients. I will never return to this bakery because they are rude and don’t seem to understand the concept of cleanliness while preparing food for clients. All the good reviews for this place must be from before the change of ownership.

Wow the lemagus here are amazing. Always fresh and they don’t go stingy on the meat. Love love love the ponchiks. You gotta try one if ever in the area The owners are usually there when I go and they are very welcoming. Keep up the good work.

I was Unilocaling around trying to find somewhere new to try and I ended up here. I am a sucker for Armenian pizza and haven’t found a decent place where I could get some. For the most part the reviews for this location are very mixed so I decided to go there myself and take a look. It is located in a small plaza on victory and shares the parking lot with other restaurants/stores. Parking is Free. The place itself is also small. Not many places to sit inside or outside. I was greeted kindly and proceeded on checking out what they had to offer. I just came for the Armenian pizza and I bought two! They will heat it up for you as well. Customer service was not bad at all, at least for my experience here. It didn’t seem like they had a lot of baked good, but it was closer to closing time, so maybe that’s why? And I was rushed so if they had a menu, I didn’t get a chance to look at it. The pizza was good and really cheap! I will definitely come back here again! Not entirely sure why this place has 4 money signs. And it should be fixed. It can throw people off!

I live around the corner and this is the first time i’ve been here. Its in a shopping center right on the corner of vanowen and whitsett. I bought a dozen lamaju and cheese bread. You can tell they were very fresh. Once i got into my car i couldnt help myself. I ate one of each. So yummy and prices are cheap too!

Looking for a $ 20 tuna sandwich and crappy side salad, in a place where the service sucks and the parking costs extra? Behold, Aroma. Their menu has pretty photos of what they serve, too bad they’re so overpriced, and nothing tastes very good. Save your money and buy a $ 5 falafel/schwarma sandwich at one of the many hole in the wall establishments dotting the Valley.

This little hipster mecca in the valley is a great breakfast/brunch spot. Maine lobster omelet for $ 13, YESPLEASE. People always seem to be smiling and happy here. Dog friendly with lots of great outdoor seating!

I’m new to SoCal and have just begun trying Armenian food(which is plenty all over here). I have tried the kebabs, gyros, hummus, salads, wraps, etc, But i haven’t tried any baked goods yet, until I came to this place! I was looking for a quick bite to eat(that wasn’t too pricey.) and on the front of the restaurant it says«FASTFOOD» and there are pictures drawn on the windows of a man pulling out a pizza, a bread filled with 2 eggs sunny side up, and bread. Safe to say, I still didn’t have a clue as to what they had. Everytime I came close to going in to check it out, I was intimidated by the owner, but I got the balls to ask him what they had and he said, «We have Everything, whatever you want.» LOL which still didn’t help me much, but finally after 3 months I ventured in and ordered their Armenian pizza«llmahjun?», for 80 cents you can get a thin crispy baked armenian flat bread topped with a meat mixture with a little tomato sauce and a chopped tomato or pepper flake here or there. Surprisingly I loved it! a good filling snack and they warm it up for you in seconds. I’m still pretty noob at this, but they have baked goods, breads filled with meat or potatoes, flat spinach filled baked goods, fried donuts filled with cream, and lots of bread. In the display they have cakes and sweets. Some are chocolate, and some are called«cigarette cookies» hehehehe.
