Wow — I was really impressed with the carnitas tacos from this truck. The quality was great — the meat actually had a crispy outer surface which is rarely seen this side of the border. Double D Tacos lunch truck will pose some serious competition for the many taco vendors who sell skimpy tacos using poor ingredients. I could not believe they offered a special with five tacos and drink for only $ 5 dollars. My tacos were at lunchtime, but I will be returning frequently to Double D’s evening location on Burbank near Cahuenga after 9PM.
