Excel Cleaners

I brought in two addresses for a general dry cleaning service. The results were amazing and the service was extremely fast! I even met one of the owners (Sheryl) who was very sweet and listened to my concerns and what type of results I was going for. I will definitely be going back to have a few pieces altered, since this business offers alterations as well. My clothes look amazing and smell amazing (no «chemical smell», which is quite normal for a lot of dry-​cleaning businesses). Thanks so much!

I walked in to Excel Cleaners last Friday about 5 mins before closing and Marlon was so nice! He didn’t rush me as they were ready to go. I asked him if there was any chance getting a tough stain out of my Burberry shirt and he told me he would have it looking brand new in no time! He was so nice & then the owner Joseph shook my hand and thanked me for stopping by! Such Humble people! They both assured me that I had nothing to worry about and that I would be very happy when I pick it up. So I went to pick up my shirt on Tuesday and I must say They kept their word! I’m soooo happy! Thank you excel cleaners for doing such an EXCELlent job!

Excel is the best cleaners I’ve been to in years. It’s really a gem in north hollywood. I had a stain on one of my favorite dresses I had no idea what it was. Li got the dress back and it was better than new! I found the dry cleaners I’m going to for the rest of my life. A quality job at low prices always sounds good to me!!!

I was compelled to immediately write this review after i got my dress back. I have a brand new dress that my kitten decided to pee pee on. I was very bummed and for some reason let it sit there for about a month or two with the intention of taking it to the cleaners. So, I finally took it in to excel cleaners. I believe I met the owner Joseph (super nice and welcoming!). They told me they could definitely get this nasty stain out and they did! The stain is completely gone and my dress looks brand new, again! Thanks Excel cleaners you’ve got yourself a new customer!

Excel cleaners is the best their service is great and you can’t forget the cashier Marlon he is super friendly and very helpful, I had taken my blazer around closing time and they had it ready the next day now thats great service they also have sewing and alteration, they fixed the sleeve on my blazer as well and it looks brand new I love this place I highly recommend this place I’m very happy with my blazer thank you excel cleaners (:

I just got my lab coat cleaned and it looks brand new! Love it! I have been coming to this place sometimes on my way home from work. They just recently got under a new ownership, and what a difference! Marlon, the kind man that always helps me, is so sweet and professional! I always get my clothes in a timely manner, and if I need to rush my order, it’s no problem, it is always ready. I’ve even met Sheryl, the owner, (or one of the owners) last time, and she was so sweet and made me feel so welcomed! :) The prices are also very affordable, and better than a lot of other places. Thank u Excel Cleaners, I will definitely be coming back soon, and recommending my friends!

You come in and someone greets you immediately. The man helping me was very friendly and there was another lady with all smiles. You feel very welcome :).
With the way that they are cleaning up the place, you know they take pride of what they do.
I got my suits dry cleaned and another one altered. Very affordable compared to where I used to get them done.

Ok so awesome location first of all. I love that I can go to the market and walk across the street to the cleaners. The guy at the front was really sweet. It was after closing time and he opened the doors for me. He said they just changed ownership about two weeks ago. I just found my cleaners :)

ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE!!!
I recently went in to have a pair of pants hemmed with a cuff. Well they hemmed the pants but forgot to put the cuff in and when I asked them if they could fix it, chance #1, they said it was too short to fix. I told them that I would need a new pair of pants then and that they would have to pay for it as well as refund the cost I paid to them for the alteration and cleaning. After being yelled at, cursed, told to not come back anymore, given legal excuses and given just about all the attitude you can think of from the owner (overweight guy with glasses, a dude named Robert, he was the previous owners son and the seamstress who ruined the pants) they finally told me to go out and buy the pants again and they would reimburse me for the cost. This is only after threatening me by saying they would not give me anything and that I could just take the pants back. I am taking their word that they will follow through with this, probably a bad idea but that’s all they let me leave the store with. We will see what happens. If I were you I would find another place to get your dry cleaning and alterations done at. These people truly DONT know the meaning of «Customer Service» and «Own up to Your Own Mistakes»

UPDATE: They only refunded a portion of what it cost me for the pants and did not refund the cost of the incorrect hem. STAY AWAY!

I have been using Excel Cleaners for about ten years. I started going there simply because the location was convenient. The service is always friendly. Robert behind the counter has a great personality, and always remembers my name. His parents use to own the place. They sold it to new owners, but they VERY WISELY kept Robert on the payroll. I highly recommend Excel to anyone looking for a friendly small business with reasonable rates and excellent service.
