Their kiss cookies are the best! You get a chocolate chip cookie stuffed with fudge(?)/brownie(?) and it’s like heaven. Everyone I’ve gifted these cookies to are amazed. I go in and get a dozen at least once a month. They are soooooo gooood.

It’s an uncomfortable experience being in here, to be sure. But it goes far beyond that. Yes, the staff is unpleasant and grumpy, sure the décor is dreadful, but they’re also completely unethical. I had to put $ 2 in cookies on my debit card — I was charged $ 3 on my statement. They added $ 1 surcharge without my consent. Aunt Mary, if you can’t withstand the merchant fees for running plastic without passing it to your clientele, 1. Don’t accept plastic. 2. Close up shop because you can’t afford to run this business.

Absolute Disappointment! Their online menu is online only! They have nothing for people to hangout. No pies, no espresso drinks, nothing other than cookies and old, dry, cupcakes! Even their vegetarian sandwich was tasteless. Do not worth the calories at all!

I ordered a 10 inch carrot cake and 30 cupcakes for a baby shower. Everybody at the party thought it was the best carrot cake they have ever had!!! The vanilla cupcakes were RIDICULOUS. We are sitll eating the cupcakes 4 – 5 days afterwards and they are still delicious and moist. I would HIGHLY reccomend Aunt Mary’s Cookies for any occassion.

I called them to get a dozen cupcakes delivered to my friend for her birthday. They took down all the information, and a couple hours later, they had delivered the cupcakes with a card and had written it out for me as well. They were fantastic and quick! $ 32.41 for a dozen cupcakes, same day delivery. Seemed like a deal to me!

Locally owned and operated, close to my house, and COOKIES too? What’s not to like about this place? I went with the M&M chocolate chunk, as did my son — my nephew opted for oatmeal raisin, and we were all very happy with our choices. I have had Aunt Mary’s treats at corporate events but I am going to make more of an effort to support this adorable place!

I buy cookies here at least monthly a dozen at a time. I take them to meetings and other worked related times when I want to see a client smile. That is why I take them. They make people smile. Good cookies. Good flavors. They stick to tried and true cookies. Nothing wrong with new age baking. I like a nice standard cookie. Good size cookie. They are uniform. Good bake. Not too soft not to hard. For cookies with nuts or chips the mix is good. Junk in every bite. I would have given them a five star but for service. The owner has her? mother? Working from time to time and it is always a struggle when she is behind the register. Honestly if I was not working I would love it. She is eccentric in a heart warming kind of way. But this is work and she is stealing time from me. They are great bakers.

Had no idea they served more than cookies. Great box lunches with an assortment of sandwiches and a daily hot lunch. Friday is meatloaf.

Went here for the first time… I dont’ see what the hype is all about. I bought 4 cookes for about $ 5, and I must say it was a waste of money. I should have just went across the street to Le Monde. The cookies had a weird taste to it… I can’t even explain how odd it was. It wasnt bad, but it wasn’t good. It wasn’t even in the middle of being okay. There was a off sweetness about the cookies. The owner said«once you try our cookies you will be hooked» NOPE, once I tired your cookies, I spit it out while driving Dx. My nephew who’s 10 didnt even take a second bite out of his M&M cookie and those are his favorite.

I had to send a gift to coworkers in North Kansas City(I was ordering from another state). Although their online ordering site wasn’t quite working properly, after emailing a few questions to the email address provided, I was able to make an order over the phone. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of response I got via email the first time and the second time when I had my receipt emailed to me. They were able to deliver the order same day, which I wasn’t expecting, not having seen the place in person. Overall a very easy process for ordering via phone and accomodating my same-day request! Definitely recommend if you have a situation like mine.

I went here based on the reviews on Unilocal.I was pretty disappointed. I didn’t feel welcomed, in fact, I felt awkward. The lady that helped me wasn’t friendly and immediately asked me what I wanted as I was looking at the menu on the wall, almost rushing me. I don’t know if she realized it or not, but I wasn’t a regular and needed time to look at the menu. I got three cookies: M&M, chocolate chip, and an iced sugar cookie. The best one was the iced sugar cookie, but nothing amazing. I didn’t like the other cookies because they were dry. The bakery was very cute and I saw them giving a cookie to kid for free, which is pretty awesome. However, I will not be coming back.

Cookie, coffee, a huge bowl of homemade chicken soup and a half sandwich: all for $ 8.95. And everything(seriously, everything) tasted homemade. The décor and ambiance are non-existent, except for a few little folksy, «whimsical»(blegh) signs and pictures. And the service — when it isn’t by the cute mom-like ladies that own the place — certainly leaves something to be desired.(The twenty-something that served us last time seemed like she was a disgruntled, apathetic relative of the owner rather than an employee.) But, I must say: the food more than makes up for it. It’s cheap lunch at its best.

I’ve seen the store, and driven by numerous times. Today I purchased the Morgan’s Deal Coupon and tried it for lunch.(I actually saved my coupon for another time, maybe a Saturday :)) A co-worked raved about their Baked Potato Soup, and when I called the order in I was torn between their Soup/Sandwich deal or the daily special that was Homemade Lasagna today… The woman who took my order assisted me in choosing the Lasagna if it was my first time in. I think because she knew I’d be back! First, from walking in, they could spruce the place up a bit… Nothing is eye popping and it doesn’t say quaint like the outside does. The employees and possibly owner were pleasant. There was a great display case with cookies that was tempting. The list of shakes caught my attention though and I added one to my call in order. This was not as good as I expected. They forgot one of the packets of salad dressing and parking is a challenge especially during lunch and they aren’t open after 5 p.m. which is sad, even 6 p.m. would be great so that I could grab dinner on my way home from work. These are the reasons I only gave it 4 stars. The reason it gets 4 stars though is because the portions are great, everything tastes wonderful and I think it’s the best Lasagna I might have ever had, honestly. For $ 7 it came with bread/butter and a side salad. The only thing I’d do is add a bit more sausage to the sauce. I will partake of their Thursday special again as well as try the other ones. Can’t wait to go back and I suggest you get that Morgan’s Deal coupon while it’s available!

The two best things about this little shop are the killer cinnamon rolls(my nomanclature, not theirs), and the eager to please owner. She actually went out of her way to offer to whip us up some eggs, even though they were not on the menu, just because we were in the mood for something savory at breakfast. We decided to order something off the lunch menu instead: Twice baked potato soup, and an overstuffed egg salad sandwich. It truly looked and tasted just like something your Aunt Mary would«whip up» if you stopped by. Only this Aunt Mary knows the importance of presentation even in the humble soup and sandwich combo. While the soup and sandwich was a winner, Aunt Mary rocks a Cinnamon Roll! Most Cinnamon rolls are all bread, not these. The ratio of buttery, finger lickin’ filling are perfect. Warm these babies up and start smakin’ your lips! But don’t get your heart set on their lip smakin’ goodness on the weekend. They are only open Monday through Friday. Plan your finger lickin’, lip smakin’ activities ahead.

I just ran in here today to pick up a few goodies for my Grandma — She’s my dog sitter and I pay in food. The owner(I believe) was extremely friendly and the shop was quaint, and most importantly, clean! I picked up a container of chicken salad — which I didn’t love, It was a bit too saucy for me, but it was made with fresh/white chicken — which is a major plus! And let’s face it, I really went in for the treats, not so much the food. My grandma loved the cookies, which coming from her(you know how grandmas who cook are) is a huge compliment — She said they were moist, soft and full of flavor! Moreover, there were two beautifully decorated cakes in the window that really blew me away — very modern, very clean, and very unique. After seeing those two display cakes, I wouldn’t bat an eyelid to order a cake from Aunt Marys(and/or recommend using them). Actually, the one cake that I really loved was apparently featured in the local newspaper — so clearly, I’m not the only person who thinks she’s capable of making fantastic cakes!

I finally ate lunch here and I don’t mean cookies for lunch(although it’s quite possible to do that here because the cookies were so good). I came here with two of my coworkers(both foodies) to eat lunch. The lady told us we could make our own sandwiches for $ 5.95 or we could order half a sandwich and a bowl of soup for $ 5.95 as well. I opted for the half a sandwich and bowl of soup because that’s what my coworker did. I ordered a Turkey Sandwich, the Twice Baked Potato Soup, a Kiss Cookie, and can of soda all for $ 8.44 total. We didn’t wait that long for our food to come to our table. At first glance, I didn’t think my sandwich and soup would be filling; however, I was wrong because I was pretty full when I was done. The Twice Baked Potato Soup was soooo good! It was like a party was in my mouth with every bite because the bacon, onions, and cheese complemented each other very nicely. I had to break off the string of cheese coming from my mouth a couple of times. lol I need to go back for some more Twice Baked Potato Soup but most importantly, the cookies! I’ve been here with my coworkers just over a handful of times. Awesome cookies in my opinion!

I’ve been back several more times, tried several more cookies, and a couple sandwiches. All of the cookies are great. Iced sugar is still tops. The chicken salad sandwich is awesome, a generous portion, and doesn’t have any unnecessary nuts or fruits that I find irritating in most chicken salads. The ladies are also super nice. Support your local cookie!

Stopped in this place for a milkshake after lunch. After eating an entire cup of vanilla softserve with Hershey’s chocolate syrup mixed in, I can’t decide whether I would rather throw up or bounce off the walls from a sugar high. I probably should have went with the cookies, which looked especially good. Aside from being able to buy cookies by the eaches, they have gift baskets of them and cookie cakes. The place also serves sandwiches. I would like to meet the jackass who orders the salad sandwich. I guess it’s good for the salad lover who doesn’t feel like using a fork to eat. While I was waiting in line, a girthy, sweaty man began pacing behind the counter. While I didn’t necessary won’t said man making my milkshake, it would have been nice to keep the line moving. He kept milling around until the woman helping my friend finished and moved on to me. At that very moment, the guy springs into action to take the order of the woman behind me. I guess he was more interesting in the pie she was selling.
